Interesting question, of course. Whether we need altcoins. In fact, each of the altcoins is developing its own unique project, platform or technology based on the blockchain. Therefore, for their further development they just need their coins. So I don't think we're going to be able to stop further growth in the number of altcoins, because they're part of the new ecosystems.
Some altcoyins really attract interest from the point of view of a promising idea. Most altcoyins serve only for speculation in the market and making money.
Although Bitcoin is performing incredibly great on the market, it cannot fulfill the work of the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency alone. Altcoins serves to complement the works of Bitcoin in various sectors of our lives such as education, health, agriculture, businesses, economy etc.
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
In my opinion we still need altcoins because of the different concepts of altcoins and technologies that will continue to evolve, from the article I read that altcoin takes the core concept of bitcoin, P2P and blockchain technologies that are developed into new concepts.This year I saw a lot of tokens appearing and most of them have the same concept, I want to ask about the opinions of the users crypto in this forum ?
altcoin will help the cryptographic market become richer, they can be extremely profitable for you if you catch the good chance, say more luck to you if you have the knowledge and persevere ring
Now there are a lot of coins that do not bring any benefit to the community and distract investors. However, the crypt has standing altcoins that we need.

people asking this question seriously dont understand what altcoins are. you think they're just clones of bitcoin but with a different name? They're tokens that can be used on specific platforms, nothing more nothing less. Its like a coupon for a movie theatre; as long as people are going to watch movies there, the coupon will be worth something. if the theatre becomes more popular, the coupon will rise in value. But, no matter how valuable the coupon gets, you wont be able to use it to pay for gas at the gasstation.

no one said that altcoins are just a clone of bitcoin but maybe a few exeptions . like for example , there are also other newly created altcoin which is verry simillar to other altcoins in terms of usage and name and that is what you called a litterally clone of alt not btc . we do need altcoins because alts are more suitable for paying or shopping because of their low fees plus faster processing when doing a transaction . while btc is mainly used investing and trading due to its high volatility which is known to bring good profits if ever the price pumps .
Yeah we need altcoin because it gives us a good chance to increase our financial support. They support and push our other coins to become high or to increase their profits.
If we really choose the long-term investment in cryptos, we really need altcoin. Although they do not have high value, if we own a lot of coins, we gain experience to invest in ICO projects.

Depands on what you need it for. Any altcoin has a project behind it and a product. If you need to use that product you need to buy that altcoin if you dont need to use the product you dont need that alcoin.
Of course, we need other altcoins. Because every project has every new initiative, we need new projects to meet the needs of the Crypto market. I would love to have more altcoins so that we can have more ideas.
For sure we need altcoins! Ethereum made a push for whole crypto industry, it was breakthrough! Thanks to ethereum there is a large amount of ICOs and cap has increased.

Seeing the success of bitcoin, many people want to repeat it, to create a coin growing in price. Well, if the coin is an interesting technology, but sometimes the coin does not represent anything, and the creator's goal is to cash in on the buyers.
If we think there is only one currency for whole world, what will happen? I think there must be variety in currencies. Crypto is not different in this concept. So we obviously need altcoins.

altcoin should we have and we want because the contemporary coin cryptocurrency is very diverse and has a various price. for instance ETH is a desirable altcoin cryptocurrency and has many uses, if we prefer transactions in the market from the wallet would require ETH. consequently we do now not have to be fixated on one coin but we have to see a lot of coins to get profit.
