of course we need altcoins, I think this is very good because altcoin is a balance for bitcoin. when there is an altcoin in my opinion it's good for the market, the price becomes balanced.
I think it would be very needed. We can do daily trading, if we have many types of altcoin. Because movement is different, so where are the coins that are great to sell or buy, we can take chances. This is important, why we don't just have one type of coins only.

as i know ethereum, litecoin, eos and ada is a part of altcoins,,

I think so, we need Altcoins. Of course not everyone will survive ,but some altcoins will definitely live on .

In my opinion, most of altcoins are rubbish. Just look at CMC. Altcoins that are not in top-100 have very low day trading volume. So i think in 2019 a lot of Altcoins will die.
Only strong projects with fast and clearly development will remain in market. So in general, crypto market needs only hight quality altcoins. But now i can not advice you to invest in altcoins at all, this is very risky.

without altcoin, cryptocurrency space cant grow fast like this. new altcoin means new project that develop new technology too
