No matter the 'offense' or 'crime' no man or set of men have the right to decide who lives or dies. It's just plain wrong.
I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
Death penalty is a punishment for the people who do bad things. Yes they will be punished in the after life. But they must be punished here as well to set an example for the future generation to not do bad things.
Yes, I agree with the death penalty. Death penalty is necessary. We must bring these people back and let the families of the victims or their victims defeat them to death. A single event can easily be a mistrial, but when someone was caught and sentenced the third time (yes, there are many insane countries who
let rapists back to society), then let's publicly slowly torture them to death. Mostly as a warning to people to have serious restraint towards such actions.

I disagree about the death penalty;it is no the correct path.No one can take decision about the life of the other people.They have to stay in prison for all life.

Yes i agree in death penalties. It is for people too in the evil in the world, such as the rapist should their punishment of the death penalty because they destroy the life of young people.

I disagree, but not for the reasons that most of people say, but for this reason: Really badass criminals know that if they get caught, they are going to the death row knowing that will die in a short period of time. But instead of that, if they know that will spend the rest of their life in jail (that means a lot of years, until dying of natural causes), they will think twice before committing a crime. So I believe that a life sentence is better than the death penalty.
I think the death penalty is barbarism from the Middle Ages. Even imprisonment in the cell is not the best option. The convict should benefit the public, only then he should correct himself.
Capital punishment is a last resort, I believe that everyone deserves a chance and that is what prison is for. However, if a murderer, for example repeats their crime then they clearly have no remorse and society has no place for them, in that case, they should face the death penalty.
Everyone deserves a second chance (including the criminals), but only if they are giving their victims a second chance. If a criminal is engaging in murder or rape, then he is destroying the life of the victim permanently. In such cases, he does not deserve a second chance, simply because there is no second chance available for the victims of his crime.

No, vengeance isn't good for society. The death penalty is also completely unfair for the outrageous number of people who end up proven innocent after their execution. This makes fools and murderers out of everyone who was involved in the process - from the lawyers and judges, to the police and executioner. Imagine if you thought you were doing the right thing, and in reality you killed an innocent person. It is not worth the risk just to try and seek vengeance.
No! We do not have the right, to take life away from other, though terrible, people. God gave life to all things on the Earth and only He, has the right to take it. Yes, people just do terrible things that, have no justification, but still we have no right to kill. Therefore, I am against the death penalty

actually I do not really agree, because the death penalty done by humans when the decisive is a god. but if the person did too much crime to drop the victim perhaps the death penalty should be done
