Yes, I agree in death penalty even though as a Catholic, the Church is against it. With our growing modern society, capital punishment is deemed necessary to enforce the law since without death penalty, crime will still be rampant given the loose punishment.

I really do agree on death penalty to those who found guilty in drugs, murder and rape.
Although killing someone is against the rule of our God but we need also to punish those who commit the biggest crime.

I do agree also, Yes its against God's rules. But our community is far different from the past. Those who commit countless crime and specially those people who abuse kids should be put on death penalty once proven guilty.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
True because we are just humans and we are not perfect in this world there are times that we do illegal things but there are also times that we ask for forgivenes on the bad things that we have done

I do not agree in death penalty because it is not the solution for those who committed crimes and murders. Everyone deserves a second chance. We have no right to sentence someone's death because we, aren't God.

I do agree with it,  I believe if you intentionally take someone's life you deserve to be executed, I'm not talking about criminals who stole
or thieft, more likely these who intentionally kill for no real reason, let's say is not in revange to someone who has killt a friend or family member.
Anyway there'r really few places in the world were death penalty is allowed in particular cases.

I dont agree on death penalty because it is not okay to just kill a person even if he/she committed the biggest mistake. I do believe that every one has the right for the second chance and change.

It's not as though I agree in death penalty. At times, it all depends on the gravity of sin such person commits.

The irrevocability of punishment in the form of the death penalty can be a good deterrent for many types of crimes.

Absolutely agreed. Having death penalty in one country is good to reduce crime against women and children..

Only if there is absolutely no doubt that the person who committed the crime is guilty. This is because a lot of people have been found to be innocent years later, and that's horrible.

I disagree in death penalty, God only have the right to take a life, We are deserve to live and get a chances, no matter how heavy that crime committed lifetime imprisonment should be imposed and nothing else.

At first I didn't agree with having death penalty. But when you watch the news and see all those fucked up things people do without remorse, most likely you would want them dead too, especially if you're connected to the victims. The only problem is false accusations. Lets say they hang a killer because of manslaughter and after a week later they realized that he wasn't the real killer, well shit. You cant bring the life of that man back. as opposed to just jailing them.

I will say it depends, and I also would say that this is sort of a critical topic because it may touch one's personal, religious, social and life beliefs. Therefore, there is no correct answer, and it would only depend on what's principles. For myself, I would say that I agree, but depending on the what's being punished. Sad to say, but there are so many bad things that call for a stricter much harsher punishment which is done by repeat or habitual offenders. When someone's life is taken or permanently damaged, one should be punished equally because they can't bring back the life lost. Although I agree, it should be viewed very critically because it would also be a way to end one's life, which is equally important even that of a criminal's.

There's a certain problem with this reasoning

That is, do you justify killing an innocent due to some nasty mistake or even willful act just because real murderers should be punished with death? Look, you can't escape from this question or evade this dilemma once there is a possibility of a mistake. And there were numerous cases when people got punished with death penalty which in fact turned out to be another cold-blooded murder. There may indeed be social, religious, or whatever beliefs as well as differences between cultures, but what is your choice, personally?

If the offence was enough to justify a death penalty then yeah. However most people who kill aren't mentally correct and therefore it may be incorrect to kill those who can't adequately think.
