I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

For me, no I don't Agree. Usually criminals are the only one subject for this, but what if the innocent people are proven guilty because they can't defend themselves due to lack of resources we know nowadays politics exist even in court. I believe that Only God has the rght to take away lives.

Yes but if someone else is taking away lives given to us by god then to protect lives given by god death penalty has to be given.
Ofcourse we dont have right for it but for betterment if all there is law and so it is ethical for the law to decide death penalty.

I agree with the death penalty, because in my country I have enforced the rules, especially for drug dealers and anything related to drugs

Criminals are human just like us so we do not have the right to end someone’s life, that is not right to do that even those they did really bad things, but we can put them in jail forever better than end their life.

It should be done because a lot of criminals are being released because of money and their connections to the higher leaders of the country. They should die to stop them from continuing their doings.

Death penalty is like killing people, my answer is NO, is not right to kill people because it's a big sin in our God. If people make crime it have many choices to give back what his/her does, except killing.

The answer is not as straight forward as a 'yes' or 'no' solution.

if the offense committed is very cruel and inhumane, it may be appropriate to be given to the prisoner, but if the offense committed is still within the reasonable stage of the death penalty is something that should not be done

I agree because there are some people who hurt or kill other people without thinking, so yes there is no reason for such a person to live, it is life dies in the hands of god, but we can not let bad people do as they please, so make laws governing it.

We must remember that God has given government an authority when a capital punishment is due, But it doesn't mean that we as a Christians should rejoice when death penalty is employed in a country, and in the same time we as a people in a society do not have a right to opposed or fight against the governments right to execute the perpetrators of the most evil of crimes. (Romans 13:1-7 13 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for she is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, tan avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.)

The death penalty breaches two essential human rights: the right to life and the right to live free from torture also the death penalty is cruel, inhuman and degrading. Amnesty opposes the death penalty at all times regardless of who is accused, the crime, guilt or innocence or method of execution

Yes , I totally agree in death penalty. If we have that kind of law in our country, the immoral and unlawful act will lessen if not totally eliminated. The question is that, what kind unlawful act will cover the death penalty? For me, it must be observed properly by the body and the people itself of the government. There must not be an exemption to the rule once the relative or any family members of the higher elected official in the government caught doing such illegal thing. Death penalty must be implemented fairly and must undergo to the due process of law before the judgement day to eliminate injustice to not guilty victim.

At first I didn't agree with having death penalty. But when you watch the news and see all those fucked up things people do without remorse, most likely you would want them dead too, especially if you're connected to the victims. The only problem is false accusations. Lets say they hang a killer because of manslaughter and after a week later they realized that he wasn't the real killer, well shit. You cant bring the life of that man back. as opposed to just jailing them.

i agree with you man, i also believe that other criminals really need to die because they are already rotten in the core, but we need to see to it that we are giving death penalty to the right person. cause many people already died because of false accusation, and because they're poor they can not defend their selves.

Lock them up in a real bad place for life, one that makes them wish for a death penalty. Problem solved.

HA HA! I love your solution, I agree to you, do not kill them, because only God has the authority to take away ones life, but instead, lock them in a place that is worse than prison, or put them in a society that has a bad surroundings, put them all in one place and let them kill each other. Atleast your'e not the one who killed them. so Clean so Good.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

i agreed with death penalty. cause that the highest level of penalty. if someone kills an innocent person, then he must also be put to death because he has taken the life of a person. is not that fair? life with life, eyes with eyes, hands with hands. so if you think that god is the only one who is entitled to take a human life, then he takes the life of a murderer by death penalty punishment.

Why only murder should be punished with death penalty? What about the other brutal crimes, such as rape of a child and throwing acid to the face of women? These crimes are even worse than murder, and the perpetrators must be punished accordingly. But there is no change in my stance about the death penalty. I still believe that death penalty is a very lenient punishment. Life without parole in a penal colony is far better.
Those crimes though despicable and traumatic doesn't lead to the death of the said person but in the case of where the victim of this act eventually dies and takes his/her own life because of the that, then it is deemed that the perpetrator should be given the death sentence.

Your logic doesn't make sense. Murder is not the most brutal of the crimes. I would consider rape (especially that of a child) as even worse than murder. Because the victim has to suffer for the rest of her life from mental trauma and social ostracization. I guess you have never met a rape victim. Perhaps your attitude will change if you meet one.

The death penalty, also known as capital punishment or execution, is the sentence of death imposed by courts as punishment for a crime. People who receive the death penalty typically are convicted of murder and similar capital crimes like aggravated murder or felony murder. State legislatures establish the death penalty and set forth the offenses that may be punished by death. therefore i agree in death penalty.

Yes. I believe that life is the replacement when someone kill another person. It is like the policy during ancient times, "An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth.
