As of 2016, 7 nations have already removed their death penalty. It is a backward tradition, it should be left where it, in the past. We've become smarter than before, surely we can think more intellectual to resolve crime.

No. God, gave us a life and He alone has the right to take it away from us. Killing some is the same concept of death penalty. Killing is a violation in the 10 commandments so we MUST follow what God told us to do. Love is the key to unity and peaceful around the world. Live a life like Christ and He will never leave nor forsake you. God has better plans for us so trust and have faith on Him and you will have eternal life thru Jesus Christ. Smiley

In the book of Romans 6:23, there written, "For the wage of sin is death but the gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ".
Meaning to say, no one has the right to steal the lives of others or kill because God is our life.

I agree with you.
I want you to get rid of it quickly for many decades

As a premise
If the evidence etc is forged, the police are guilty
Although it is conditional that the court is functioning properly

pfiuuu. Tough question. I would say let's try to cure society first so there are less and less twisted people. But as that probably sounds too idealistic, I would say why bothering with repeat offenders (murderers, pedophiles, rapists) ... There's no possible judicial error I think. Welll, idk, I might have to think about it deeper, be more tolerant and open minded maybe.

The death penalty is sometimes a penny. some people do not deserve to be saved by death. life imprisonment is a worse punishment. the life of a cell. What could be more angry?

Yes... This is exactly what I have been saying for long. Initially, I used to support the death penalty. And there were reasons. Because the use of death penalty can install a sense of fear in the brain of the criminals. A life without parole is not that capable in a psychological sense. But at he same time, the death penalty is too lenient. Everything will be over in just a few seconds. The criminals doesn't deserve such leniency.

Depends on the justice system of your country.

Nations without a stable justice system can easily use the death penalty as a method of getting rid of their enemies.

One should take into account the level of corruption in the country as well as the statistics on false accusations.

The thing is some criminals did hineous and numerous crimes that they don’t desserve to live anymore. I know hat we shouldn’t take people’s lives no matter how bad they are. Still, imagine how many more people he could’ve killed if he or she got out of prison.

I agree with your opinion that our life is only borrowed from the creator or God, and only He is entitled to one's life, but in the case of serious crimes that result in the loss of a person's life, I agree with the death penalty given to the murderer.

I believe that the death penalty must be imposed in all countries, for particularly serious offenses, for intentional killing, and for more serious crimes. After all, the criminal himself had no right to take away life from someone.

Well I think it depends on the crime that the criminal did,
For example he/she is just carrying a drug then I don't think that death penalty should be his/her punishment.

Yea, to a certain degree for those who committed heinous crimes and are in no position to be rehabilitated but it should be used only in rare cases only

To some extend yes, I agree death penalty for some certain crime, to deterrent others from it, example of such crime are,  1,kidnapper who engage in adopting human being for money. 2) political office holders, who looted the public funds.  3) Terrorist, who engaged in killing in the name of religion. Etc.

I am firm believer in the Hammurabi Code which specifically calls for a head for a head so in that case i am a staunch supporter of the death penalty and i believe it should be applied when a person directly or indirectly has caused the death of another through their actions or inaction.

I am also a firm supporter of the eye for an eye rule. Forgiveness just gives more power to the criminals and it encourages them to commit brutal crimes again and again without anyone stopping them. There should be fear in the mind of the criminals and if you remove the death penalty, then 90% of that fear is gone.
