Death penalty isn't practical at all. What for  should we kill bad people when we can just let them do some work while they are in prison. They can clean streets or take care of animals or whatever. The thing is that their work shouldn't be cruel and dangerous for their life otherwise it's not a sign of any kind of justice.

Lock them up in a real bad place for life, one that makes them wish for a death penalty. Problem solved.
For me I'm favor on death penalty because it gives justice to the victime of heinous crime...many human rights advocate said it will not decrease the crime.but for me that is not the target the criminal must face there retribution on what they doing...give them the weight of justice.

I'm 101% Agree in death penalty, It's better to hear that Criminals, Addict, Rapist, Murderer and Terrorist are being killed rather than inocent people are killed by those Criminals.

Prevention is one thing. And punishment is another. Death penalty achieves both these objectives. But there is an even better option. We can send these people to some remote labor colony for the rest of their lives. They can do slave labor and the government will be receiving the revenues. In my opinion, death penalty is too lenient and soft.

I believe a penal system should operate at a moral higher level than the criminals it sanctions. I simply refuse to believe that the appropriate, state-sanctioned judgment for a murderer is to … well, murder them back. I believe that taking human life is heinous. So why would I support my government doing it? This is also why I don’t support war unless we face imminent invasion, or some sort of clear military threat.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

I think that in life, death should be the endpoint and not a way to intentionally kill or do harm to others. Life is about giving hope and chances and if we are still here then we should be also at least give people the due process that they deserve.

I agree with the death penalty. if you have been guilty You cause great damage to society. You kill the friend rob the property, embezzlement, bribery, corruption, then the death penalty will be for you. So we should live peacefully. Live well for yourself and build a civilized society, advanced

At first I didn't agree with having death penalty. But when you watch the news and see all those fucked up things people do without remorse, most likely you would want them dead too, especially if you're connected to the victims. The only problem is false accusations. Lets say they hang a killer because of manslaughter and after a week later they realized that he wasn't the real killer, well shit. You cant bring the life of that man back. as opposed to just jailing them.

Indeed! This is the truth. People disagree with the point of death penalty because they think if someone is under a case and given death as penalty, they'd automatically hang them. There are actually studies if the said penalty works or fair for the suspect.

Depends on how good the evidence against them and what the crime is. The punishment might not be enough to completely stopping crime, but if it saves just one future victim, it's worth the deterrent effect.

Talking about the evidence, in normal circumstances the judges or the jury award death penalty only in cases where they are 100.000% sure about the guilt of the accused. Even if they are having a 0.001% doubt regarding his guilt, they will never consider the death penalty. In the past some innocent people were framed for fake charges, but I don't think that it is happening right now.

I don't agree with death penalty because life is sacred. Yes maybe we want the criminals especially to those who committed grievous crimes to be sentenced with death penalty, but we do not have the authority to take other people's lives. Only God can take our lives. I disagree with death penalty because we do not know, these criminals might change and turn from their wicked ways.

Strongly agree. Need to know again that the function of the imposition of punishment is that the punishment is applied to be obeyed & if there is a violation will be in punishment penalties for the realization of a sense of well-being and comfort in the community. But there are still many people who are not afraid of it

Death is a secret and nobody knows, I do not believe in penalty death because most of the verdicts are not proven example are many people who are in sentence death penalty but still live up to now.

Inmates in the death row are allowed to file appeals a large number of times. And therefore the sentences are carried out after a long delay, and in some cases the inmates die of old age before the execution could be carried out. In the United States, it is normal for the death row inmates to spend 30 years or more in prison before they are executed.

If the crime that a person committed, then, I will agree. But not all crimes must be put sentenced to death penalty. So, I think it is not very big problem if there's death penalty in our country.

I agree in death penalty for the sole purpose of purging toxix human beings. It is also to reduce the volume of illegal activities and hence make the world a somewhat better place to live at.

If death penalty is sentenced to someone who kills someone else or does corruption,  then I agree. A killer should be responsible for a dead soul and a corruptor should be responsible for people's life

Death penalty would be the best punishment for people who killed innocent one.  And like you said, corrupt officials and politicians should be punished with this as well.  I think those who are sentenced to death after fair judgment is worthy of it.  Lives taken to someone who are so innocent is appropriate I think.
