If death penalty is sentenced to someone who kills someone else or does corruption,  then I agree. A killer should be responsible for a dead soul and a corruptor should be responsible for people's life

I agree that no one has the right to decide whether a person should live or not. Even if he committed a murder, then in the future he can save 10 other lives

The issue of death penalties can be a bit controversial but to some extend i believe people who take the lives of others intentionally must face the consequences of their action. It could be life in solitude or sentence for life in prison which i believe can be more devastating even than death.

If all the killers are kept in jail for the rest of their lives, there simply will not be enough places for all. In addition, for homeless people to get to prison will be only a good decision.

That is a wrong argument. Less than 10% of the inmates in prisons are murderers. And it will make hardly any difference even if this 10% increases to 12% or 13%. And the main point to remember is that only a very small part of the murderers (less than 1%) are sentenced to death every year by the courts. And many of them get their sentences commuted after a few years.

Death Penalty raises a lot of controversy and speculations. There are several pros and cons to it.
Christian or Catholic nations are very sensitive to this, especially from my country. But on a personal note
I agree with Death Penalty, however such sentence or punishment should equal to the
gravity of the crime committed.

Death penalty in my honestly opinion is useless. It's better to make criminals working as slaves for their entire life. At least with that they produce something...

No one should have power to kill another human.  Angry

Death penalty is not useless, I think the death penalty is very useful, there are some criminal cases that deserve to be paid with the death penalty, such as murder, even more so if rape and murder. The death penalty exists to scare everyone away from doing evil, to make them think twice, to make them think of their own lives before they act.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

Of course not as I still believe that nobody should take away lives except God Himself. No one can take the law on their own hands as if that would be the case then we would all be just one big The Purge movie waiting to be realistic. If that is the case then killings and this all should stop and shopuld undergo due process and be taken into full responsibility when taking a life and when executing it it should be done with complete prejudice and care.

No i am against it.

All religious and societal issues with killing someone, it does not deter anyone from committing murder, so it is useless as a deterrent (which was the original point of the death penalty)

No, I'm against in death penalty, because death is something that is left to God to decide. The Old Testament says "an eye for an eye" but Jesus teaches us to forgive and to have mercy. The death penalty leaves no room for forgiveness and mercy.
Yes, you are right but think about the victim and victim's relatives all they want to the suspect is to die and those criminals are keep on doing it because they know that they will be free in time. You said that because you have not experienced it.

You are absolutely right. It is very easy to ask for forgiveness and mercy for some criminal, as long as you have not fallen a victim to his crimes. But the same doesn't apply for those who have lost their loved ones to violent crime. I have lost one of my family member in an incident of violent crime. Perhaps that is the reason why I am not in favor of forgiveness.

No one knows about death, and death can not be delayed or accelerated even for a second, so I disagree with death penalty, because death is a secret that no human who know.

Well yes, but the question is about death penalty after committing a heinous crime.  As a person growing in a country full of criminality and injustices, I agree that it should be implemented.  Those people who are full of evil are always thinking of bad things about others.  They are under the influenced of drugs and too much drinking and addiction.  These people are no good to society and even do not want to live.  So I agree with death penalty once proven that they indeed do that crime.

Death penalty is a law applied to the government for any of the peoples under their jurisdiction that it violates their punishment, for example a man who imposes a forced on a woman, this is a punishment. It is also a good idea to make this law so no attempt is made to do so.

Killing someones life is against to the Biblical laws or in a God's Law. We Borrowed our life to our ather Jesus Christ therefore, we dont have any rights as a human to take away that gifts from God. But Those Henious crimes such as killing, taking away someones dignity are sometimes punishable by death. But Government itself shoul not have right to kill someone. Death Penalty has no room for forgiveness but to God, There is always a second chance
Bible is just a set of rules that even the Christians don't follow. Do you really believe that all the soldiers who fought and killed in various wars weren't Christians? Or that all the people that work in the penal system aren't? Many of those judges who actually sentence people to death go to church and find it justified to kill others.
I personally think that some people don't deserve to live. Especially mass murderers or child rapists.
