Under GW Bush, the Americans went to war in third world nations (Iraq, Afghanistan.etc) to steal the natural resources. However, the policy changed under Obama. From 2008, the main purpose of the foreign interventions by the US was to please its allies in the middle east (such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates).

I think the biggest threat are "globalists" who don't have any affiliation to any particular country anyway.
Countries are not the problem.
Only simple people care about country identity.

Consider. How much do you, I, or anybody know about anything? Are we aware of every blade of grass in the world? Are we aware of the way every leaf turns and twists in the breeze? Are we aware of every molecule of water and air?
In the same way that you are barely aware of anything in the world, so you aren't aware of God's underlying purpose in allowing the population of the world to grow as large as it has. But I am.
The reason God is allowing this great population in the face of potential starvation (the planet won't be able to support us all), is that He is giving multitudes of people a chance to live.
What chance am I talking about? The end of all things (the universe) is near. It is right on top of us. God wants these people to live so that they have a chance to be saved.
The USA, even though it has many faults, is allowing missionaries to go throughout the world to find as many people as possible for salvation. Once everybody has a chance to be saved, then the end will come.
The USA is the most blessed of all nations for doing this work - the work the Jews were supposed to be doing, but failed at.

IMO, the Americans should be sending humanitarian aid and technology to the third world nations, rather than exporting cluster bombs, missionaries and carcinogenic GMO food.
Well, they do do that. They send a lot of aid to other countries.
