Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

I believe in God because if God does not exist, we too  do not exist, this world do not exist, this post do not exist. In short, everything we see, we hear and we can touch is created by God. If we look at our surroundings we can say that it is so perfect, I can say that all this perfectness just appears from nothing, someone has the credit from doing all this perfectness, but we humans destroy this creating of God.

Yes I do, because if there is no God there will be nothing, we are not existing, this world is still full of darkness and misform, no one can live here. I believe in God because I believe that some has created this perfect world just for us humans, He has created the right amount of everything on this world for us so we can live in this perfect world.

I believe in God because there are no other proven things against the creation of all things. That God is the beginning and the end. Even thou a lot of people tried to prove it wrong they still failed or should i say they all failed.

Yes i do believe in God because he created all things that you see and all the things that you didnt know.He will not give anything you need if thats harmful or not good for us.And he knows whats the best for us. And we must be thankful for the life, food and good health that he given us everyday.

Maybe that was true but this does not mean that God - Jesus Christ, Allah or Krishna. Maybe creator made experiment and we all lab rats.

I do because of the good things that happened in my life. Why am I always 'helped' by nobody when praising Him? He is up there in the sky somewhere watching us all. It can't be just a coincidence every single time I'm doing so.

Yes I believe, because it was taught by my parents when I was a child until now and I am confident about what they teach.

Hmm... my case was also similar. My parents were quite religious and in my childhood days they would ask me to visit the nearby temples. But when I grew up, I realized the mistake in giving importance to religion over science. I gradually became agnostic and after a few years I became a hard core atheist. For the past 15-20 years, I have remained a hardcore atheist (my parents are still super-religious).

That's the problem, you believe it because you were taught that way but you never really thought about it. You think, as a kid, that your parents know everything but that's not true and that's the biggest problem with religion.

I believe in the existence of a god, because I believe that God gives guidance to people who live in the world by giving the scriptures to be a guide of life, if having religion then our life will be better than before have religion, that is my belief. religion can change us for the better.

Really yes, I believe there is a god. Almost everyone today believes that we have god worshiped who created everything, place, animal and people in the world. Someday we find him, by faith in him we can find him, and talk. We can ask for help if we are in full need, we will only ask and believe in him in peace. I do not know why so many anti christians today, hopefully they will come and believe that we have a god who watches over all of us Smiley who live in the world or in the world.

even though I don't believe in God, I think some religions are offering a interesting way of life, which can be followed without necessarily believing in God himself. For example, Christianity advocates that you shouldn't steal, kill, that you should respect your parents etc. which I think are all good ways to live your life, even if you don't believe who wrote them or who said these things. The Koran for example, has a saying "As good as food is for your body, so are flowers to your heart" (or something like that), this is beautiful for example, and it shouldn't matter if Allah said it or whoever, what matters is that we should chose what we like and follow our belief, without having to justify it by a higher deity or by someone who "forces" you to do things.

Yes, I do believe holding gold as an asset. Infact in my country it is considered as a social security by families who offend pass their gold as inheritance to new generation.

Historically also gold as an asset has give significant returns in times of uncertainty.

After much study for the lack of proof for the existence of a god who supposedly controls the universe, I've come to the belief that god was/is an invention of man, to cope with realities in the world that he cannot explain yet and questions that he doesn't have an answer yet (like where the hell did we come from?).

But once he's able to answer these questions (e.g. why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west?), his need for a god vanishes away, little by little, according to the answers he's able to form for the big questions that he's got.

Of course a lot of people would give their reasons for why god exists; so if you are one of them, it might be helpful for you to read this: http://www.atheistrepublic.com/blog/arminnavabi/why-there-no-god-quick-responses-10-common-theist-arguments

Take care and have a good day.

yes because there must me someone created all this things , it take to much faith to believe that all of us exist from nothing than to believe there is a God who created all things

I don't believe in god, because I'm believe in scientific progress. It is very important. For example: religion hinders the development of medicine. It is worth noting also the flight of man into space and the development of alternative energy sources, cloning. I think it's more important to believe in science than man-made some mystical stories.

God is in everything dynamically. He operates everything through cause and effect. Consider how every electron, photon and everything else act. They all act according to cause and effect.

Cool
