I have never seen anyone winning constantly in gambling and living just with the profit of gambling. Better you also stop thinking gambling as income source, however i also think there is no point in being shameful because you gamble occasionally but if you are addict to gambling better to be shameful and limit this addiction.

Yup the gambling is not a source to make money, it is just a game to kill our free time. But we play this games with real money so that it will give more entertainment. Don't think you will make a huge profit from gambling. If you win your bet, it's just your good luck. And yes if you play gambling for fun then there is no point in being shameful it's just one hobby to spend your free time that's it.

No I do not feel shameful for it at all because its something that I love to do and I never do it with large amounts.

it is amazing to know that somehow you can still earn some profit by gambling. I think it is very remarkable about what you are doing. If you can make money by gambling, keep gambling and gambling and they will soon understand how good gambling is

One of the rare cases of gamblers making a living through gambling. Usually we all just lose and everybody just plays for fun. If he does win and makes it a living, he is quite lucky. But lucky will not always favor us. If you did make some money through gambling, you should really just keep it and go. Don't let the casinos take it back when you lose the next time you play.

Yeah i agree it's rare that people actually live off gambling earnings and i think it's pretty dangerous to place your family's future in gambling results though as you've said you're a good gambler and you've been doing this for a long time, even able to support your family's needs with it, then hopefully you continue with earning money and winning. Good luck dude and you're right if the results of your gambling reap positive fruits, then there's nothing to be ashamed of

Its really rare to see for someone could able to sustain the profits for longer runs on playing gambling which is really near impossible and well theres nothing to be ashamed of if he said that he support his family by just doing gambling since its his decision and we cant do anything about it because we have different ways on producing money and im hoping the same thing too that he could able to do that for longer more because his family is at risk.

to me as i am independent having my own business and family, but still i do not like that my family know about my gambling activities because here in our society gambling is not consider as a good activity therefore i will like to play it hidden.

I guess we need not to be ashamed for involving in gambling activity even we are having whatever purposes with it. actually gambling is not consider as a good activity and those who play gambling there reputation is also not too good. therefor i play gambling in such a way that no one can even think about me that i play gambling.

i feel afraid if i am playing gambling in the public area but if i am doing playing gambling in my room, then i am not feel shame. because in my country, gambling is prohibited and we can get in the jail for months or years, so if i want to playing gambling then i should play in my room.

I am embarrassed because it could make me go to jail. gambling games are games that are considered highly illegal in my country, because it can make people into the dark eyes and forget everything, up to the job and his family. so, all players gambling in my country, just playing gambling in places that are difficult to be found, or play on the internet.

You're right, there's no need to tell a lie on your identity if you happen to be identified with gambling, the world is evolving with games and I know people that gamble for the entertainment aspect alone and so in my opinion there's no need to conceal the fact that you're a gambler.

But we can't left the society, we should live different type of people and everyone have a different and also negative thinking about gambling. So if we hidden about gambling from the people or family, than i don't think that it is bad. It is bad only when we use our parent's money and don't tell them, where we lost their amount. But if we use our money, so we don't need to tell them where we use it. But should accept many people feel shame to being a gambler.
