I dont since it's not legal.
I also think that the US should ban firearms, as it is too easy to get a gun and commit crimes.

Look at other countries? There is not so much shooting as in the US.

Yes, just look what happened to the Las Vegas shooting incident wherein almost 60 people were killed.  It is not really good to issue guns to people just like that.  I know there were permits but those who will issue a gun should took people to extreme test.  Because it is very easy for people to kill because those who have guns are like kings.  They think that they are superior because they think they are well secured.

This question mostly goes to americans (or  residents of any other country where it is legal).
Do you have any firearms? For what purpose do you have it and  have you ever used it?
Everyone else can discuss if people should have a right to have a gun or not.

I myself would feel fking more safe if I had a gun, some shit heads near my place have no boundary, last night when I was walking home, 1 guy with a knife and a flashlight approached me, i can tell that he was drunk af, long story short, I had to run like usain bolt. I think everyone should be able to have self-defense weapon if they prove they're mentally & physically qualified by let's say national police or court, regardless of their country

I am against with all types of guns. Some people believes that personal armament is required. It is reallly hard to kill people or animals for me. Of course people have to be protected himself/herself against dangers. According to level of these dangers, I would probably think that if guns is necessary for survive or not. If there is a zombie attach, I have to use guns for instance.  Cheesy

I do not have a gun. Guns are important for our protection. These can be used for our self defense. But carrying guns illegally is bad. We mightbe caught and be thrown to jail. Guns may be dangerous too. License are needed before carrying a gun.

No, it's illegal to carry a gun in public place. And having one at home ... it's more likely that children would hurt themselves with it than any assault to happen.

No I don't have a gun. But if I would have a chance to own one, I definitely will. What hinders me is my financial capability to own one, and the rigorous steps in processing the papers. Owning a gun would be cool

No I don't have gun. I think now a days no one need this any more. Although it's legal in our country to have this. Only people living in the villages have guns or people who are involved in political activities.

I do not have a gun, but i have friends who have weapons and i understand the want for one.

I don't agree with the ability to have one, but each to their own.

I do not have a weapon, since weapons are not allowed in our country and I do not see any reason to carry it with me. Weapons will not help in the event of a nuclear war.

I have a hunting rifle. It is registered, everything is legal. I just really like hunting, especially boars and hares. Sometimes I also go hunting wild ducks

I don't personally own one but my dad always has multiple guns hidden within the crevices of our home. Living in a third world country like where I'm living now, robbery and house invasions are quiet common in our place. Guns somehow keep us secured in times of crime. I think this justifies our dilemna because our dad wants to keep us totally safe from these outside forces.

I don't own a gun, and would never own one, as I feel an accident could happen at home and it is not worth the risk. Additionally, using a gun for self-defense in my country (for example in case of a robbery) would only count as self-defense if the robber was also using a gun. If the robber attacks me with a knife or his/her bare hands and I shoot him/her, then it would not count as self defense and I would probably be charged (wouldn't matter if I was smaller than the assailant and would have no chance to overpower him/her, or if it was 2 or more agains just me).

I understand people have rights, and that based on this you can own a gun, but there should be restrictions on the quantity and the type of gun people can own. Why do you need 10?

I do not have weapons. In my country, to possess a weapon, you have to register and it concerns hunting exclusively.

Yet my country, Belgium, is a weapons producer with links to its main investor, a public entity.

I will never consider possessing a weapon because I do not try to overcome violence by violence, and the education I teach will involve tolerance and empathy.

And if I have to bite my fingers, what can I do that accept? We can all die, no matter the method. But to allow its free circulation and its mass destruction ... I will never understand it.
