No. In my country, people want to own guns so they can scare people. They use it to act like they run around things in their place. Guns are only used for violence and not for the protection of their own so police and authorities should only be the ones to own it.

Some politicians say that we have police for such purpose.
And this logic is perfect: you can't use the firearms because you have police thet will try to find criminals that robbed you (or killed someone). Sounds (and works) bad.

I don't have a gun, and I despise to the people for having one or even the person whom ever invented it. It just made the world so wrong and cruel.

Yes, i have multiple guns. Ive only had to shoot them for training/practice, but I bought them for self defense. I hope I never have to use them to defend myself, but Im glad I have that option. Its like buying insurance on your house. You hope you dont ever have to use it but you are glad you have it for that rare incident.
I personally own many guns and store them in my gun vault. AR15s, shotguns, rifles, pistols, revolvers. My concealed carry choice is a 9 mm Glock. I never leave the house without it, as well as a spare magazine. I pray to my creator that I never have to use it to take a life. On the other hand I would without hesitation to preserve my life or that of my family or friends. A "bad guy" has no right to take a life, so if he makes the decision to try, in my mind he now becomes my target. I have the license and credentials for this and train monthly.
I do not know if the weapon is a defense or a danger. I do not have a weapon.
I have no weapon because, fortunately, in my country the possession of weapons is a felony. They can only carry weapons, police, security agents and hunters (these need a license).

It's legal in our country, but as long as you have a permit to carry firearms. I think the government should be strict when it comes to this. There should be a series of tests like psychiatric test and so on. Fire arms should be used for self defense and not for criminal or in an offensive way.

Owning a gun in the Wild West has a much different primary purpose than owning one in a big city. Either way and in either place, it's great to be free.

My family have a gun. Gun should be use in protecting other people and not by hurting them. My family have it because in our place, there is some drug users so in case of emergency we have a gun that can use as a self protection. Everyone can have it but they should be responsible in using it because in a wrong move there is some people that can be harmed.

We have got some assasination with guns here, after the revolution. That is why I think that the most dangerous thing is weapons.

In my country (Russia) the easiest way to have a gun is to be a hunter. My farther has got a shotgun

The law forbids me to have a gun but I do have a crossbow. It's the same size as a gun and it can cause some serious damage too.
I do not have any weapons and this is very bad, because at any moment I can be attacked by criminals and I will only have to pray that the police arrived as soon as possible.
Even if an officer was standing right next to you when you get shot that wouldn't be much of consolation, let alone if you need to call them up.
Sadly the laws in my country make it really hard (if not impossible) to get real firearms, so apart from defending myself from backyard pests with airguns there is not much that I can do. At least break-in's here are generally not done by armed people, so in the worst case scenario my guns might scare them off.
