I don't allocate a certain budget for gambling but I just use my extra money to play. I haven't tried borrowing money just to gamble. As for me, that will be a big risk since there's no assurance of winning on it. I have learned and control gambling on my own. I always make sure that I discipline myself all the time so I'll know when to stop and when to continue.
Playing this way you won't face issues with gambling. I believe the most important thing is to discipline yourself, so you will know your limits, always acting responsibly, not risking your loved ones and your own welfare. That is how gambling games should be played by everyone, and seen as a leisure activity only. But unfortunatelly there will be always gamblers who will see it in a greedy way, leading to addiction, that is the final step to ruin.
But good examples like yours can help them to start controlling their emotions better and improving their self control.
In my opinion it is not a matter of self control. There are people who are deemend of being a gambler cause of e.g. bad experiences during childhoood. This is often shown in psycholgy literature.
But don't these bad experiences during childhood affect the person's self control skills, becoming an impulsive individual?
Self control difficulties might not be the root of the problem, but it may also be a consequence of childhood traumas, leading to addictions later such as gambling. However, even if it is the case, traumas and addictions can be overcame.
Chances are there but not all the times where individual would really be falling out into this scenario thats why it all matters on how they do handle out things
because we do have different ways of understanding and  make out self realizations which really be determining on what would be the possible decisions that
we would make in case we do experience those kind of situations upfront.Cant deny that those traumas or bad experiences could really be one of the factor
which would trigger out on being impulsive but those are still chances only.

I'm in crypto gambling world, it's more than four years. Time to time there was changes in my gambling activity. Firstly, I started it for fun purpose and never took it seriously. But at some point I got addicted to gambling. Spend a lot of time daily and didn't manage my fund properly. Though I never took money from other people to do gamble. But those days are gone. I took a break from gambling for few months (at the first quarter of 2020) and after that I gained control over my gambling habit. No one helped me to get out of this situation, I myself controlled it and nowadays I have fun from gambling.

This is about how do you make sure that you are gambling in full control. There are many people who are easily brought into gambling beyond fun and that is a problem for them and also for the gambling industry, because it is for them that there are limitations in many countries.

Do you actually...
- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
- Have someone helping you control your gambling?

Question 1 - Yes, I set a weekly budget and I seldom go over that. (Just when I degen for a race position)
Question 2 - I only play with what I earn. (Salary & Online activities)
Question 3 - When I have FREE time... at nights and over weekends
Question 4 - I go solo ...... friends and relatives just break my concentration.  Cheesy
Question 5 - I do not need help, because I am not addicted to gambling.

Hope that answers your questions.  Smiley

I don't really have any limits. I used to gamble a lot thinking I had the right strategy to beat the house.
Wow! that's really something inside you, the desire of having a working strategy just to realized that there's none at all.

Things did not turn out that way but I was not too discouraged because I never did it excessively and now I just do it occasionally.
Good thing that you able to minimized it and not to push further, it's save you a lot especially with your finances.

Bitcoin's price increase has really made decrease my gambling activity.
If you are someone who value money, it's really the turning point, the increase in value of your Bitocin will limit your bankroll.

There should be a limit on everything because too much time in gambling can ruin all your plans and make you lose money and time.

I do have my weekly budget, but most of the time I didn't spend my whole budget in just a week, it took me time before I lose everything.  Cheesy
No specific time for gambling, as long as I'm free I can gamble this is how technology works today, its good to maximize it.
I miss gambling with my friends, I hope this pandemic ends so we can gamble together again.
I don't need someone to control my gambling activities, I already have a plan for this and I should commit on that.

This is another good side of gambling with cryptocurrency. The prices are increasing. This is a good side for me because it somehow warns us that we should control our gambling funds because what we are spending today is going to become more valuable in the coming years. There was a time Doge was nothing for me but a shitcoin I can easily squander on gambling sites. Doge was worth wasting in gambling games not so long ago. Who would have thought it would reach $0.10?

It is interesting you say like that because many of us say that we must have limits on playing gambling, whether it is time or money because if we do not have limits, we can lose many things and even we can ruin our life. But it is normal to have a thought about having a right strategy to beat the house because that is one thing that many gamblers wants. But the fact is we can not beat the house and what we can do is only enjoy the game. Yes, bitcoin price increase make us reduce our gambling activity and prefer to hold bitcoin and sell it on the high price.

- I have no weekly budget at all. I will gamble if I feel that I want too.
- That will be the one that I will not do the most especially when it comes to gambling. I will not borrow to any of my friends or family just to have funds for gambling.
- No allocated time. Like I said, I will gamble if I feel that I want to gamble.
- No. I don't have any friends that are gambling at all. Only me in the past Cheesy.
- Nobody helped me in learning self control when it comes to gambling. Experience and my discipline helped me learn it. This is the hardest trait to learn when you are gambling and not only in gambling but also in trading. Self Control is indeed one of the important traits in gambling and also in trading.

- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
I dont have specific amount to gamble, what I use is the spare money I had after dealing with the bills and budget for the whole month.

- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
When I was an addicted gambler before (who dont have control) I experienced to borrow money to use for gambling. It gets worse when I lose it all and unfortunate things happened when my relationship towards my family turns sour because of this.

- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
Usually during break time at work and when day off.

- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
They dont gamble so no. I often gamble with friends.

- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
Yes my family. But im a disciplined gambler now and knows my limit. After all of the problem I caused them, I learned my lesson now and wont commit the same mistakes again.

- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
No, I don't have weekly or monthly budget, the funds used are really idle funds

- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
This is not something I would do, it is bad for the gambler to do that, because the pressure will be greater on using debt funds than with own funds, and will have a lot of emotional impacts

- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
Because question number one the answer is no, I also doesn't have time allocation, because playing is only based on the funds I have

- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
This is an activity that I'm tried to hide to friends or my family

there are limitations in every country. some totally ban any forms of gambling but some allow it with different limitations but this is not enough for an addicted gambler because they find a way to bypass these limitations to continue feed thier gambling apetite .

i am not an addicted gambler , i have set a monthly budget  and it depends on me if i will play consistently but if i used it all i will wait again next month .

Planning finances is important in gambling because sometimes even people with no addiction can become too absorbed by the games/bets for some time and simply forget about money. Therefore, I have a rule: never spend more than you earn. To follow that, I only deposit money which I can afford to spend on fun. I can spend it on the cinema, new gadgets, parties or gambling. Sometimes it's more, sometimes less, I don't have a fixed amount of money which I can spend, and I only play when I get bored and feel like it.
Myself too the same kind of a person, but the initial wins tempted me to spend regularly. Later when I realised my mistake what I've lost is big. Further the mind started to think about recovering the lost funds. In this event it keeps going. From my view even if we don't think of money there is more chance of getting into gambling with regular spending. At some point it'll be difficult to get out, we should be careful that we don't go that level.
You should have some control on yourself because these initial wins might really spark out that interest which might mold into an addiction later on.So be careful with this one.

The initial taste of winning usually lead to a more active presence in gambling.
However, it is only you that can control your habits.
Before sending any amount to these casinos, you need to check on yourself, how far can you go on these games?
Do you have money to spend on these games or are you using your last savings and hoping that you will win?

There are really times that it is really hard to resist on not to play when your mindset and emotion do collaborates on tending to play gambling just because you do seek on some
mix of leisure plus the opportunity to make money.

Nothing beats out if someones does have the control towards their own mind and emotion on dealing with things not limited to gambling but on other real life situations as well.
