- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
As I am not an addicted gambler, I didn't set a budget by week. But frequently I use a part from my extra income to play my preferred bets. I don't remember that I went over that part .

- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
Usually during weekends and holidays when with friends or when I get bored during summer 😁

- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
I know many people who are addicted to gambling and by not following their bad habits, I can consider them the factor that helps me control my gambling habits .

This is about how do you make sure that you are gambling in full control. There are many people who are easily brought into gambling beyond fun and that is a problem for them and also for the gambling industry, because it is for them that there are limitations in many countries.

Do you actually...
- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
- Have someone helping you control your gambling?

These are actually good parameters to follow for every gambler, even though someone is not an addicted gambler. I don't have any such things to follow because I usually gamble to relax somethings. I just don't look at gambling as a money making opportunity and for the same reason I don't loose a lot of money. I pull myself out from any games where I keep on loosing money.

Problem gambling is mainly linked with the wish of making money out of gambling whereas online casinos are not really a place to make money!

- Yeah, it's zero, but I play free games every day and usually make a few hundred dollars per year from them. There are a couple of sites in my country that offer weekly contests which unlock free sports bets and I usually enter & win at least one of those each weekend.
- I've lost money on certain games like poker in the past and luckily been able to cut it off instead of trying to chase losses. It leaves you feeling a bit stupid and sometimes bitter thoughts creep in that the game is rigged, it's better to leave if those emotions start popping up.
- It takes five mins tops to play those free games and sometimes look up bets to place when the weekend competition selections are successful.
- I went to a casino a few times and it was enjoyable, usually play online solo.
- Luckily been able to control any addictive tendencies, however I can see how some people get hooked on the adrenaline rush that comes from big wins. If it stops being fun, it's best to move on.

- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
My bankroll management is long-term, much better cos it allows me to allocate a % of the bankroll in a certain number of games throughout a sports league/season. I prefer this over a fixed budget for a short period of times as i wouldn't be tempted to make tons of unnecessary or low value bets simply cos i wanted to quick make profits in just one week or month. Having a weekly budgets is ok for recreational players

- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
i actually spend a couple of hours a day to figure my bets for the next day

- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
I try to avoid any type of friendly or serious gambling with them. But I don't mind the occasional friendly bet with some of the folks in this board (:

- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
at this point you really need to stop gambling cos you have a serious problem.

gambling is not different on other things and we must set a limit to it because we need to do other task in our life  but addicted gamblers can spend more time in gambling because they dont have a life .
this is not a problem for the gambling operators because all they provide is entertainment and extra profit but its up to the gambler if he will let himself consumed by gambling.
it becomes a problem for gambling operators if they are illegal and no age restriction

I have a monthly budget, and I never get over it. In fact, I usually have some left over from that $100/month that I'm spending on gambling sites. Also, I only play on my days off at work, which is only 1 day a week. I just gamble to kill time and have fun whenever I'm at home and chilling or preparing for work. I never had any issues or problem controlling my spending nor my time on gambling, as I know full well the consequences of my actions. Even if I live alone and pretty much have a lot of spare cash to blow on one gambling session, I choose not to, and see to it that I never treat gambling more than the pastime that it has been for me for the last few years.

My aim when gambling is just to make the matches/fights more enjoyable. Nothing is worse than watching Man City smash poor old Burnley, unless you have something riding on it. MMA is different, I'll enjoy them regardless, but it does increase that nervous tension before the bigger fights, which I quite enjoy. Nothing like waiting for your favorite fighter to step into that octagon, and hopefully take the win.

If we make friends with gamblers, it will certainly encourage us to enter the gaming industry in it, so it is not impossible that this will be a gap to become addicted.
But if he's really in control, I think one can limit himself to what he has.

-Well, I have a little weekly budget and even then the result of the Signature campaign.
-I will avoid gambling loans.
-I have a set time limit so it won't exceed what I set.
-No, just out of your own way.
-Obviously, someone to me can help in controlling gambling.

Gambling should be fun so taking pressure is not good at all. People tend to take it as a profession after winning few bets but once they continue betting and takes pressure then they make mistake and lose whatever they won. Ultimately the bookie win or they would not be able to make billions of dollar from this industry. There are those limits too so no bookie will give you unlimited money.

So when you are gambling, do it as long as you are enjoying it. Do not spend the money that you can not afford to lose.

- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
Never!

- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?

I have no fixed weekly budget to gamble, it will always based on my own pocket's condition.

- Not ever get in debt for gambling?

Unfortunately I have this experience in the past and it was a big amount for me but luckily I could pay it back.
It was when I have less control of myself when playing gambling games.

- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?

No, I will play whenever I wish, whenever I have the time and whenever I have money obviously.
Even though I have no time limit, but wont play too long time in a single session as I have many things to do IRL.

- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?

I was in this situation in the past as I grew up in a location where gambling is not a "taboo" thing so we used to gamble socially against each other in some specific events.

*I have a weekly budget as it keeps me from gambling too much and falling in addiction. Even now, for weeks I tend not to gambling.

*No. Gambling with a specific amount, prevented this.

*Having an allocated time for gambling makes it seems like work instead of something relaxing. When the time keeps running, it could spur up your adrenaline rush, making the gambler anxious and ending up losing the game. Just have in mind how much you want to spend doing it.

*Never and that's because you lose both fun and learning when someone else does it

- No, because I will only gamble when I have money and don't care if it is money that is ready to lose or not.

- This happened in the past, but for now it would be best to give up gambling if I had no money at the same time.

- There are basically certain times that I know the best times to gamble at the casino, but unfortunately it's not always the same. But to gamble on sports all the time is good I feel and it is very different from casino and sports gambling.

- Only when finding the right time, but more often gambling with bookies.

- Not.

I have just noticed myself that I am gradually given off away from gambling, I flashed back to understand that the immediate and the free time I had were now been using to do something profitable, so that was how I gave up from gambling. On a regular i usually placed bets everyday and such my portfolio were reducing. I have only give ear to place bet is when there are some very important crash in the weekend. I have finalised that I am stable now towards gambling.

Now, I am limit my gambling time and money to use for gambling because I have a bad experience in gambling, and I do not want to get the same thing. I always use limitations before I play gambling. For example, I use $5-$10 to gamble in one day and no matter if the money still in my pocket or not, I can leave the game without regret with the result because I can limit the money and time. I never borrow money from other people because that is too risky for me and I do not know how I can repay the money if I borrow that money.

I can gamble anytime I want and stop gambling as soon as possible. But I do not gamble because of socializing because I think there are other things that I can use to socialize with friends or relatives. Actually, many friends suggest that I control my gambling activity, but I am trying to remember that playing gambling too long can make me a gambling addiction. Without having the power to control ourselves, we can become addicted to gambling, so you need to realize this.

- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
yes but is like a "safety " measure against errors or any platform misuse/scam.

- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
absolutely not.

- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
yes but it depends if there are major competitions (like wimbledon) or match that are played in a strange time (americas cup)

- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
why? I normally gamble just 1% of the time with friends and relatives. if you want play smarter you need to be focused.

- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
no definitely not. I helped a friend of mine to take a limit on bets but I have seen that isn't easy at all....

Yes because I don't want to play full time as this is a money and time waster if you prolong your gaming vices maybe a little time and money spend on it is ideal so that we can go away on addiction state which is totally not good in the long run.

For now I only spend 5℅ of what I earn and that is what I can afford to lose.

It depends on which I am limiting my time. Sometimes I am limiting my time when I am betting just to enjoy and to have fun with the game but when it is in a serious mode just like in poker, I don't have any limits especially in time because in poker the impatience are the one who losses very quick so you must wait your turn in which you are getting a good cards every turn. In terms of money, you must just limit on the amount of money that you've afford to lose because if you cannot do that then probably you will be burried in debt.

Back when I was an active gambler I don't really limit my time on gambling.
But I tried it before I just ends up cheating on my own and losing more because of my own greed.
But if I ever comes back to gambling and have enough money I would try to limit my time on it so I could also limit my lost or keep my profit.

I've already lost control in the gamblings, I've tested several strategies that have made me lose money, but I've never created debt because of that.

I started to control myself when I saw Bitcoin valuing a lot a few years ago, so I realized how much I failed to earn because of the expenses that I made with betting. It really rocked me and made me rethink the way I deal with it.
Actually, I make more sports betting and on teams that I know and flollow, this reduces the time I spend playing and allows me to better control spending.
Dice and card games are still a temptation for me, I don't deny that, but I try to keep my distance.
