I voted yes, but I have to be honest that I read them after I registered. So, it was a while after I had registered and had been playing. Apart from that, I have to say that some gambling sites do not have TOS, so we cannot read them. But in my opinion everyone should read them. If not, trouble can follow.
I think that is a risky move that you will only read the TOS after you registered in a gambling site because what if the site is not licensure that you already handed them your personal information to them without knowing they are legitimate. Also, I think most legitimate gambling sites and other sites have their TOS because it is proof that they are safe and secured, so I read them the TOS before signing up or registering an account.
^ All gambling sites should have TOS, and that is recommended for them, that is impossible if they don't have TOS. For me, if they don't have TOS they are not operating legitimately since TOS is an agreement between the clients and the gambling operators, once you have used the site, it means you agreed the TOS. Nevertheless, that is a bad practice if you will skip the TOS upon using a gambling site, make it sure you read it properly to avoid possible trouble in the future.

If you are a serious gambler who is also a high roller or bettor, it is indispensable that you should read the TOS first before signing up. With a huge amount of money involved, risk should be minimized. Which also means a gambling site without a TOS should not even be considered.

You can never go right with a site which does not even have a TOS. That is a very basic thing in gambling sites, much more basic than a license. But a serious and high roller gambler should not even be risking depositing big amounts if a gambling site is not licensed. You don't court troubles if you are risking big amounts of money.

The mistake of some other people is they are ignoring the TOS and just gamble directly without knowing the don't and does about the site the play and they cry later on on e they encounter some issue or been compromised for some things they didn't imagine to come and mostly they blame it to the dev while the fact is it's their own negligence put them on that situation.

Reading TOS is the most important thing we need to read first before entering a site since it can help us to avoid such avoidable issues.

That is so true. People are a little selfish and self-centered. If nothing's untoward happening, they would even heap praises on the site. But when something's wrong which is not even the site's fault, it is very easy for them to point finger and cry foul. Most won't admit responsibility over their very own negligence.

TOS reading is a must but I only gamble with very little amount that is why I don't take TOS reading religiously. Should things go wrong and my account is locked out due to clear TOS violation, I might not really fight it out as if I'm being scammed.

But it would be a different story if I am gambling thousands of dollars. I will see to it that every detail of the TOS is well understood.

The no is winning and I'm not surprise because I am one of those who don't read the terms of service, I just know the basic rules of the gambling site and there is a notification that if you are located in a country that are not allowed it will put your account in trouble.
and majority of the gambling sites do have similar TOS and rules you read one and you read them all.

I already entered my vote.
It's a "no".  Grin
Now, the "no" votes are fighting back against yes.
As of now, it's 31 yes vs 30 no.

An honest answer to me. I am really lazy about reading all the TOS.
I'd like reading reviews more than just something that is copied from somewhere else and edited it a little.

it's a tie score now, 31-31, I like to admire those people who are honest with their answers, voting for no because I want to be honest myself, but don't call me a dumb gambler as I know the risk and I know what I'm risking.

Not completely but most of the part will be covered especially the violation part which lead the termination of accounts. And everyone should read it as well if they want to avoid issues with payment, account suspension and much more.

Yes, but I ain't reading the whole thing skip and look for country restrictions to avoid future complications like account and fund freeze.
Sometimes, I get too lazy and won't read anything specially when theres a lot of word to read lol then proceed to register and deposit with small amount of course. That doesn't matter to me anyway since I always don't gamble with huge amount of money.

Do we see the result of this survey if we may participate? I hope OP will give the data for this kind of survey. By the way, my answer is No I did not read the ToS of the gambling website because all I want is just to play but sometimes when I have problems or issues with their platform I'm reading their FAQ too to give awareness to my self. So why I don't read those text it's too many words and explanation I'm a typical person just want to direct the key points immediately.

The lessen the word the easier to understand. For me, it's better to highlight all of the things users must need to know.

Just my opinion only this is the reason why.

Natalim, please be more specific with the question. Is it reading before playing?

Those who voted "no" probably thought it's reading before playing. I think most of them are forced to read parts of the TOS later when they withdraw. This is mostly the case I see in the scam accusation board. Player would complain that his account and funds were frozen then say he doesn't know why. Casino owners will then come and say the player violated a rule in the TOS.

I voted yes even though I don't read the whole TOS. I mostly check country restrictions, KYC, and fees.

actually mostly happens even we have already read the TOS but if the gambling site thinks there are fishy or they are fishy
then freezing will still happen.

most cases clearly stated that the violation is about having Multiple accounts in those sites things that can be easily point out to give
the gamblers violation but the truth is the site just don't wanted to pay the winner and that's why the freezing happens.

I agree. He will only risk his money if he doesn't read the TOS. But I am sure that if he is a serious gambler, he will have his best gambling site to playing gambling, and he will not try with the gambling site which he doesn't know. He will take care of his money and will not let himself to pick the wrong gambling site. That will be different if he uses small money. But it is advisable always to read the TOS, so we know the gambling site rules.

I want to make a survey from gamblers in the forum if they are really reading the TOS of the gambling sites they are playing with.

Therefore, I request you to vote and give an explanation on why you voted yes or no?

it depends.
I check TOS if I am going to made a "big deposit" or I am not sure about their local regulation (in my country there is a monopole that doesn't allow foreign bookmaker to made business here).
however the only part that I check always is related bonus/or any promotion, just to be safe and follow their rules!

To be honest no, maybe that is not the problem for me. Online casinos should have the palyers best interest in mind and I think that is a tacit agreement between the online casinos and the players. Most TOS are just a copy of any other existing TOS, besides why go to this site when you do not trust them in the first place.

To be honest Im not , I just check I agree and go play any game I want .for long Time doinig it ill never experience any problem widrawing or deposiring or locking the account for some reason mostly becuase they are almost the same TOS in other gbling website ou will only be affraid about TOS  if you are in the country with restricted policy in gambling on my side I'm not.

Although you have never faced any issues so far, it is always better to read the ToS first before create an account or better to read it before you want to deposit for the first time. Indeed most ToS looks similar to each other but there can be a significant difference that may give you a problem in the future if you do not notice it. It is not only about restricted countries or country regulation but there are many things under the ToS. Dont take it easy when it comes to something related to your own money unless you do not really care of losing money for something you do not notice.

Honestly, I never intentionally read TOS. There is not much reason for me to read TOS since I have never been banned in the from joining any gambling site. Most of the casnios only make restrictions on developed country and they do not really care about third world country where I currently locate in. However, having hobby of reading TOS is not meaningless at all. It helps you to raise the awareness of rules and regulations so as not to violate any laws. Being banned in casino is uncomfortable. Usually everything takes more than a week to be solved

Therefore, if you have quite a time, I suggest you should spend some of your time to read the TOS and you will never regret. Who knows. Maybe one day your country will be prevented from participating in any gambling site without any inform.

We are free to check the TOS or leave it like that. But I think they are read TOS before or after they played, so no matter when they read the TOS, they just read it. But some people always check and read the TOS before they join, and usually, when the new gambling site launch here, many members will read it and ask the @OP if they don't understand or suggest adding something. When other people read that new gambling site thread, they can see what it does and don't decide to join and play on that site.
