I might read TOS but more like skim through it, I think its more important to subscribe to the main forum thread for that site and any other feedback threads and see discussion of any particular sticking point in usage or rules like this.    Most often I'll sign upto a site but wait later for it to be more established rather then relying on it immediately for anything important or significant use, sometimes the lesser quality, flaky or short term sites become obvious in their intent over time.   My ability to decipher lawyer speak is not something I'd lean on to save me from alot of mistakes.

Seeing the poll right now seems that 16 out of 34 users are not reading the Terms of Service of a gambling site which is I think is dangerous for them since you didn't know which agreement you accepted since I know that once you created an account you already accepted their terms and conditions maybe including asking for a KYC.

I think all players should read the ToS of the casino they are signing up, if they are depositing money to the casino. Because when it comes to withdrawal time, you don't know what issues are you gonna face with. This is the reason why a lot of players are complaining after they encountered issues from the site, and the site will say, the player violated a specific item from  their ToS. Not only KYC issues, but sometimes the use of VPN, and others.

I'm biased on this question.
The reason: I read ToS with a service I believe which looks complicated or has complicated statements in their threads here. I check whether my country is allowed there to play or not, their bonus terms, the privacy statements and most importantly, their deposit/withdrawal terms and fees. The sites I'm familiar with or the ones I played at for a long time (though never gave their ToS a read before), I don't think I'll ever read their ToS because I trust them as there had been no issues in the past. Sometimes reading but skipping more often, so I chose not. Basically I am not a big gambler so I conclude there is nothing to pay more attention to for an ordinary gambler, that is to say that even the maximum bet amount I have never touched, so it can be said that I as a lower class gambler will definitely not surpass that and other things I think still in gambling standards. After all, as time went on I only used famous gambling sites so I also figured it would be at least fine and I was comfortable until now with that behavior or habit.

I always read ToS on website/services where money is involved. Something I'd suggest everyone to do.
LOL are your serious? Most of the time the ToS are very long and don't mean anything.
Moreover exchanges, casinos and other services don't care about them, they do what they want at the end.
I only read them when I have a question or a problem, but they rarely solve my issue...  Undecided

The answer is yes! But I don't really read the entire ToS, rather I look for few key points as mentioned below,

1. KYC Requirement
2. Country ban list - to check if my country name appears there or not
3. Fund withdraw related rules

I think these are the most important things to look at while starting with a new casino.

KYC is not as important as the other two unless you are depositing thousands of dollars, most casinos will leave you along if you deposit a few hundred bucks and they'll only require you enter your country of residence and age. I don't know how many of them actually verify this information when you make a withdrawal, but the ones that don't will usually look at your KYC when they ask you for it to check if you lied about your country of residence, which wil cause your account to be closed.

Nearly all casinos mention KYC in their TOS and usually it's just to stop cheaters from abusing the platform.

KYC is the most important among the 3 mentioned. You'd not only lose the enormous amounts you deposit but your name that they can extort you instead. That's another reason why they ask KYC, either steal your ID or extortion purpose. I haven't heard of casino extorting though but its not going to be fun for a victim.

You know nothing about them but they know you with all your details and this is just a casino that could be operated by scammers.

I want to make a survey from gamblers in the forum if they are really reading the TOS of the gambling sites they are playing with.

Therefore, I request you to vote and give an explanation on why you voted yes or no?
Not really. In general, if its a well known site or used by many people, I don't bother reading the Terms of Service. But, when it comes to like casino or other "controversial" sites, I do read the Terms of Service. It like each and every word, just skim through it and look for specific details (like their identity verification policy, country  restrictions and other important details). When it comes to services like this, I guess everyone should read their terms. I have seen people breaching ToS and then make a huge post over here and crying because their account got blocked.

When I’m new user to a gambling site I usually read the TOS as this gives me clarification about the conditions they offer to the users. It's important to me on reading the terms since I’m going to deposit some money and to use their services they offer to the users. The rules, kyc, and their rules on withdrawals and deposit which I am gathering information before I’ll start to play.

Who does? I guess I have barely read terms of service; not even in gambling, it's applicable for all the sites I have used. I guess most people don't bother to have a look at the tos although the pool is saying quite different. If they read, they would never had multiple accounts, they had never access the site from restricted countries, they would never try to abuse. But as we see a lot of complains against the gambling sites where most the times, gamblers don't follow the tos of the site.

not entirely at first(I only read the parts that I find the most important) but as time goes by while gambling on that site I tend to read further and further on their ToS to understand and learn more of their rules. I know I might be taking a risk by not reading the entire ToS before I gamble but I haven't run into trouble on any gambling site that I have gambled on. maybe the fact that I don't deposit a lot of money and rarely withdraw is part of the reason why I haven't run into trouble yet.

I voted yes it's important that every gamblers to read the terms of service there could be some provisions that might differ from other gambling sites that are joining, not only for gambling sites but all the other sites that involves money, it's better to be ready than sorry in the end.

I just go look for the discussions on the announcement thread of the respective gambling site. Here we can get to know about the tos of the gambling site, and if something isn't good it'll be under discussion. Rather than going through a long written article briefing the tos I find it easy to gather more information in a better way on the announcement thread.

Most of the time, I do not read Terms because it is quite tiring to see how long the terms are. What I usually do is to check a gambling site's background and reputation just to make sure nothing would go wrong because I doubt most of the gamblers do read such thing, so I do anticipate issues if there are any, which will be surely discussed. But I do not suggest others to do so, ofcourse it would be better than to just agree just because it is quite a hassle on your side. But let us all make it a habit to do so espeally on sites involving money because problem may arise, right?

More people should better be, not only on sites involving money but to all of the things asking you to do so. It is quite a form of a contract if I would be asked and content should be understood by the audiences.

The only casino where I will decide to send a bit of coin are the old ones and have been in this forum at least that I have the confidence to go on without reading TOS. Keeping myself active every day in the forum makes me think I'm aware of the list of trusted casino and what is going on in the crypto space. If I find out soon that I have to submit KYC then good luck. I might just play all the coins I have deposited in hopes to win big, big enough to be worth submitting documents.

I ensured that I read all the TOS of any gambling site before any deposit, especially withdrawal limit, I will check if KYC is mandatory if yes I walk out this are precautions to avoid enmeshing in any problem with the site, such a problem had occurred with a gambling site fortunately we have numerous gambling sites for sampling thus choosing the preferred ones shouldn't pose any problem to me.

I am among those who have never read the TOS when joining gambling sites, not because I'm lazy. But I always choose gambling sites
that are trusted and have a good reputation. So I find it unnecessary to read the TOS, because I already believe in a reputable gambling
site. Indeed my action is wrong, but so far I've never had a problem because I didn't read the TOS.

Not really, but sometimes, I just click page by page and stop by reading the article. Maybe other members read the TOS because they want to know more about the site before deciding to deposit or sign up to the site. But since I don't play gambling too often like other people, I usually skip to read the TOS, and I think many people do the same. But I don't know about the other people, whether they read or they skip it.
