Yes, reading TOS is important to know their terms and conditions,

without reading their TOS, I might accidentally violate one of their rules and this might cause me trouble which I do not really want to. It actually take only a few minutes to read so I better read it than being sorry in the end.

I thought of one exception to my never read the tos answer.

There has been a time and it might make the ops point.

I won £400 in thee free spins, ad I couldnt seem to withdraw it however much I bet of it.

There were some silly terms like you have to bet it 50x or something silly.

Firstly, it is a lot of work to go through all the terms and conditions completely. You could filter by keywords.
It is important to be aware of the conditions, so that you are not faced with surprises. The problem is often that conditions can be quite complex and that the user is okay with it.
He then relies on the fairness and reputation of the casino. General terms and conditions can often be used against the customer.

To be honest, no. I do not read TOS, I just proceed on gaming. I will just secure if the gambling site is secured and trusted by many other gamblers before I start playing. I do not spend enough time reading TOS, I know many gamblers do the same thing.

Even for a trusted site, once you violated one of their terms, your account will be in jeopardy. No excuse.

I know you already know the drill as a casual gambler for a long-time. I hope there will be no problem that will come on your way using those trusted sites you are referring to about violating their TOS. It's just a short-read and since you are already using them, might spend some free time reading on their TOS.

In addition to reading the rules of the service, I also carefully study reviews of the service from real users (friends or forums on the Internet), since theory and practice are very often different. Most services like to interpret the rules in an arbitrary way in their favor and it is better to know about this before any problem occurs.

That's correct, the reason why I mostly use a gambling sites that has an ANN thread here in bitcointalk as that would give real review from people here, if you see a reputable members giving their positive feedback, you'll be confident in using the site.

In this sense, we are lucky because in some areas we can get relevant reviews here. As for other areas, these are usually social networks and, unfortunately, modern SMM allows you to create the appearance of reputation and solidity even for bad companies.

I usually will just go by what kind of reputation a casino has, but it is very important to read TOS. There have been many cases where people were surprised to be asked to do KYC when they tried to withdraw a large amount and other instances where people were prevented from immediately cashing out. I want to avoid this type of hassle so I will usually glance over their terms to see if there is any unreasonable requirements.

Honestly, i don't read the TOS of gambling site on my first visit and that's because online gambling with the inclusion of physical gambling is not prohibited in my geographical area and the only issue I usually have is some slot games restrictions. However, I later read the FAQ just to understand the gambling site rules and regulations.

There were some scam accusation threads against some casinos where the problem was that users didn't read their TOS and then were complaining around certain things but at the same time it happened like TOS of these casinos were shit and illogical (once accident was back in 2017 but can't remember the name of the casino).
I wasn't reading TOS and once I started to read, analyzed that there were some things that I wasn't accepting but at the same time it's a problem when you crave to use certain service and you don't care about TOS, just click on next to register.
But it's necessary, very necessary to get rid of unwanted problems.

Before, I will admit, no. As long as the site got my attention based on some of my factors, I will consider them as a good site.

But with lots of cases about gambling sites closing account, it's now become my habit to check TOS especially on the part of the restricted regions. Much especially if the involved site is a new gambling site.

I'm more of the reading the FAQ section. I won't skip reading that part as always.
Yeah, we have to check the TOS to know the terms and conditions about which areas are prohibited. Many people are now discussing this because some of these rules are always the same or incomplete, we often encounter on newly launched sites, but we still have to know the rules that occur there. regulations on the terms of your country and region.

This factor is not that important but we still need to know all about the sites we come across for gambling.

Reading TOS is one of the good way to know your rights and the rights also of the gambling sites or the condition between the player and them. Most of us did not read the TOS but I realize that we need to read it so I cannot violate while using their services because if we do wrong thing that against to them maybe your account will be banned to them so always be careful and begter to read it even we don't want because sometimes the TOS are very long messages.

the poll shows that a lot of gamblers are really not reading the ToS. so not surprised if there are gamblers complaining about their funds being frozen coz of violating the ToS of the site. if you are a responsible gambler, and care for your funds, before depositing to the casino, you should at least browse the sections that pertain to you or those important items that you know will affect your withdrawal activities. on my end, i read the ToS of the site, so i know what im getting into. though not all of them but at least the related sections as a player of the site

I have this habit where I just quickly glance and stop at some lines and reads it sometimes and there are times where I'm not that bored and totally read all the bullets on the TOS. I know it isn't advisable to skip those but we are used to skipping it sometimes. I still do read and notices important details I need to know on the TOS.
Mostly we all have that similarity, I don't know if there is someone who is very strict enough to check everything and read the whole TOS of the site. Could be just 1% or less, possibly? Well, I don't it is a need or a must to read it all because for me, what I focus on is reading their feedbacks, site reviews, and the legitimacy of the site. Maybe I was wrong about this but for the many times that I'm doing this, I've actually contented enough that I was doing good.

I am sure that someone will check everything and read the whole TOS of the site before they are playing gambling or deposit. But not many people will read the whole TOS. Most people will read reviews from other people. They will try to play gambling for small money or use the faucet to test the site or ask for a welcome bonus. No, you are not wrong because every person will decide what they will do based on their wants.
+1 for this. I see many people fully reading the TOS, I have many friends that does and takes hours reading the whole TOS.
Reading and basing on reviews I think is not advisable specially if it is just from a random person on the internet, even big artists promotes wrong information in the internet because they are getting paid to do so. The best thing to do before entering is just read the TOS and try it yourself.

I don't really read TOS since I thought they were just all the same but different of ways of telling it to people but it looks like I'm wrong. Now I know that reading TOS is very important and should be read by everyone who will be using that gambling site.
Good thing we have this thread, we can read different comments from different members and though the opinion were divided but at least we know the different sites and why it's necessary and no necessary anymore to read, its just funny that majority of the voters did not read the TOS as evidenced by the voting result of 61 vs 51.

It is so important to read the terms of service and I do it every single time. It can mean the difference between getting paid your winnings or missing it due to some silly technicality. So many gambling sites out there have enticing looking offers like "$100 in free bingo tickets" but you are expected to gamble any winnings 5x before they will let you cash out any money. By that point you are left with a couple dollars if you're lucky, but chances are the money and your time have been wasted. You have to remember that gambling companies are not charities, but profit making and want to hold on to any deposited money.

In addition to reading the rules of the service, I also carefully study reviews of the service from real users (friends or forums on the Internet), since theory and practice are very often different.
