So i recently visited the bounty section to look at what was happening and i saw tons of active bounties and airdrops and that make me wonder, about how many of those projects actually turns out to be successful.
Because the value of those bounties and airdrops is in the success of the project and majority of them have turned out to be scam in recent times, so at that i will totally avoid them infact i have never participated in any of them before because their worthless and becomes spam tokens in my wallet and i wont want anything of such.

Almost all airdrop videos on YouTube are all scams, do not try hunting for airdrops using YouTube videos, those airdrops links in Youtube videos are all fake links and once you connect your wallet your tokens will be wiped out.

Find the project team or the o projects official telegram group and ask them if they are doing any airdrops or giveaways, this is the perfect way to expose or know the truth about any airdrop campaign.

Let's be careful what we connect our crypto wallets to.

This is a good reminder to be cautious when participating in airdrops and to always verify the legitimacy of the campaign before connecting your wallet. It's best to go directly to the project's official channels to confirm any airdrop or giveaway information, rather than relying on potentially fraudulent YouTube videos. Taking these steps can help protect your crypto assets from scammers.

I honestly think that the good old days of claiming Airdrops almost without stress and risks are gone, what we now have are scam projects trying to use airdrop participants to expand their reach and in some cases airdrop hunters get scammed too.

Sad that I have missed out on few good Airdrops like Core and Aptos because I don't take Airdrops seriously anymore and I think I prefer safety to getting few dollars at the expense of getting scammed.
True, it seems that airdrops in the past were more promising than they are now which are mostly scams. I can compare maybe 1 in 100 airdrops that really pay and even then the amount is not big.
Until now, I'm still hunting for airdrops, but there aren't many of them, unlike the past, and what's unique is that when we take part in an airdrop, what we think is promising ends up being a scam, and when we don't participate, we pay instead. I don't have a problem with that, because I'm just doing it in my free time.

That is a very good advice.I have also been a victim of fake airdrop,my funds was immediately wiped out when I connected my wallet.Have since stop joining airdrops since most are scams, currently doing bounties because there are more safer and more secured.

Even though I'm no more sourcing for airdrop now. I can say that from late 2019 to 2021, I made a few bucks from it. I can remember the Blockchain airdrop where they give $25 for just having an account and doing KYC.

Also, there was also an airdrop from Houbi, I think they rewarded around $5 then. hahaha

While it's a small amount, it's something one can do in their free time and get rewarded.
Of course, you can make airdrops from time-tested projects. Now I don't spend much time on it. But here, too, you can’t immediately guess what will shoot. But sometimes you can get a good bonus

In these kinds of situations it is very difficult to find legitimate airdrops, but if you know where there are legitimate airdrops there is no problem.

I don't participate in the airdrops that are only seen on Telegram because all the airdrops here on these apps are all scams, especially the bots that are used, don't believe it because that's not true, believe me.

Right because scammers also trying their best and find ways to deceive people so some of them use the airdrop to deceive their possible victims and drain their wallet. Some other offer to give bigger share if they deposit some amount to support their project which is bad decision to take by airdrop hopefuls. So if we want to participate on airdrop we make sure that they never ask some funds to us or ask to put our private key to their links to avoid scams.

Numerous alarms have been raised about fake airdrops and bounty scams that have exposed the wallet addresses of innocent people to danger. The majority of airdrops today are fake or scams; they are only designed to obtain people's wallet addresses and defraud them by using the coins they already have in the wallet. As a result, airdrops are now something to be afraid of because they will undoubtedly ask you to connect your wallet, and once you do that, you will probably be scammed. We must exercise extreme caution.

There was a time when a lot of profit could be made by airdrop and bounty.  There was a time around 2018 when the number of scam projects was very low compared to many.  Now when I talk about airport I would say it's just a waste of time. I currently do not join any of these airdrops or bounty campaigns and do not prefer anyone else. Even after that, I will tell those who want to join these airdrops to connect the wallet by creating a new wallet and then connect. It happened to me once that everything in the wallet was transferred immediately after connecting.

Yeah, it was around 2017 - 2019.

If I still remember correctly, a lot of projects are offering free airdrops and some of them are requiring KYC which I really don't like and ignore it. That's why it would be rare if big projects that have a lot of partners will give free airdrops today.

It can be said that the game of hunting Airdrop has become more and more difficult and complex. You will not be able to earn much if you do not invest in them. Do all you can with all your might. Very few cases are really lucky to receive huge remuneration. I've seen APTOS and now people are coming to SUI like crazy.
if you need to invest in these area and the risk of being scammed is also there , then what is the difference from the scam ICO and IEO in the past?
Maybe it is time for us to understand that Airdrop nowadays isn't that trust worthy anymore instead getting free money days are over.
this is the reality and we cannot change that fact .

The number of individuals accessing the cryptocurrency market increases. The ICO was first launched in 2013 and was widely available until the launch of ETH 2.0. People are getting wiser to invest in projects.
and it turns out that it was being abused of scammers and yes thousands of people become a prey of those scam project and a victim .
sorry to say but i believe that ICO is a complete mess in crypto investment world.

Airdrop is not without value even if it is a scam project. Is it important that we are sober enough to get out of the scam rewards? In 2022 my friend made more than 1 million dollars. He is a true hunter. He got his hands on all the projects. Quantity is more important than quality is his point.
yeah it is your friend but have you? or at least another friend of yours? if not then it is still a complete laziness to believe in airdrop when a gainer is just few percent of the losers?

I joined Airdrops a long time ago. Many of them got good profit from Airdrops like DAPPX, LTX, Zilliqa etc. Some of them cost $100+. And I know some Telegram channels where legitimate airdrops are shared such as Airdrop Detective, Airdrop Inspector, Airdrop Ninja, Official Airdrop6, Airdrop Star etc
I wonder if those amount is still possible to these days. I never earned a single penny from airdrops ever and I do not even receive a token from my MEW back then. What's worse is that some fake projects just wanted to mess with me by trying to bait me into their phishing site which they believe that I would easily fall, lol.

The same could be said almost to some bounties I joined although I know they're a little bit different from each other.
Though I'd never help myself joining again in the airdrop, I still know that some projects are generous to give rewards to the hunters. But unfortunately, we can never expect it to have a good market value because most of these airdrops are not yet listed on any exchanges. It means that even though we got those rewards, still useless as we can never sell them. I'd never see this would be a reason why it was encouraging to join them. Yes, they are free and lesser tasks but if the situation just ended up stuck in our wallet, that is useless.
We can't really find airdrops like before...not anymore, maybe.

The only airdrop I wanted was for EthereumPOW when it came online but I forgot and I couldn't get much of it because I had some ETH in my wallet and wanted some ETHW when the fork happened but I missed,it was basically free money as the beginning the price of ETHW was over 100 dollars so that was a quick buck for me that I missed.

I only got curious about airdrops after seeing an address which had collected a huge amount of ETH and that address had gotten much of it from airdrops since the beginning and that is why I was looking for such things myself.

However all airdrops you point out are most likely scam and I would stay away from them.

for me "yes" because airdrop already give me some money and that prove that airdrop has pay, but yeah many project maybe will scam or we got our token but cannot sell it because no value there, but there will be good project and you will get that if you do all the aridrop.
Yes, this happens a lot and we take it for granted in Airdrops, I've also had some pretty high payouts from airdrops in recent years, but lately more and more airdrops are scams and just trash you get, and maybe something like that. that's the project fighter airdops, just depends on luck.
I want to ask do you have a special classification of working on airdrops, or do you take everything available in the media and you do it all? Sometimes I feel lazy in doing airdrops because a lot of them are worthless, can you give me a suggestion.
I think that's because we are still in the bear market. Don't forget that we have been here for a long time now. If the majority of the coins are down and not paying the investors and traders a lot, how much more the airdrops when they are free? My advice is hold those coins or tokens that you got from the airdrops and wait for the bull market. That is the time that you will know if the airdrop that you get is a hidden gem and not a scam.

A good airdrops don't depend on the luck alone but you can increase your chances of getting them if you will do a research. Don't do airdrops that you see on social media or on the ones offered by the influencers because their quality are mostly bad.

Very few cases are really lucky to receive huge remuneration. I've seen APTOS and now people are coming to SUI like crazy.

New projects these days use are taking advantage of their airdrop participants. Instead of getting paid, participants usually end up as the one who is paying and buying their coins. Fake projects are here and there and are just launching airdrops to fool people so it's really hard to trust airdrops nowadays. I think it's already rare to find legit and trusted airdrops because some projects these days were only made to scam people.
yet there are victims right? because people here still does not learn from the past when there are lots of airdrops that does not pay or paying but just stupid amount far from the promised amount.
and now there are cases that participants are buying their project and ending? scammed lol.
we must together airdrop banning  before it goes rampant again like the old days as there are still willing victims.
