personally I use it so far. but I prefer to store the amount directly in the Exchanger because at this time the amount is not so large, it will be unprofitable. you need attachments to work with MEW successfully

you should never use an exchange as your wallet unless you are prepared to lose everything.

that's like crypto 101

MEW can be used temporarily but not for everlasting long, hardware wallet seems to be the best, its easy for those in Europe, Asia and north and south America to get a hardware wallet, but those in Africa lament the difficulty in getting one.

Until now I still use MEW because it is easy and the security is also guaranteed.

Better using Myetherwallet than some ethereum android wallet.
I do not understand why people still use them, it is very risky, be careful!

right, I'm faithful to myetherewallet, it's a seamless way to access your tokens. There are vulnerabilities related to DNS hacks, but there are the ways to prevent that, mainly to use hardware wallet.

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
what hack do you mean . is it for those exchanges who suffers from "unwanted malicious attack?" or someone that wants to hack and encode decode your private key.

I still using MEW all the time and added security by importing it on metamask. it will still very protected as long as you do not give your Private keys to others. although hardware wallets are good some of them have very limited numbers of coin and mew Is an all out erc 20 based token which are more widely use as of now ICO's  Wink

So far I don't see a worthy alternative to MyEtherWallet. Despite the recent troubles they had, I continue use MEW and think this is the most convenient way for crypto transfer.

Yes EW IS still one of the best wallets there is in the market, especially for Ethereum and the ERc-20 Tokens,The transaction rate it operates on is quite high, yuare able to get your tokens in a matter of seconds . If also very safe i encrypted well, its however the duty of the owner to ensure that the coins are safe by ensuring that the safety protocols are adhered to

I have no problem with myetherwallet. For 3 years I wear this there are no obstacles whatsoever, as long as you do not click phishing.
Keep your private key in a safe place and make a backup if you ever lose your private key file.

I still do. Myetherwallet is still the most accessible to me. I find MEW so easy and convenient to use especially because I am usually participating signature and avatar campaigns. So MEW address is very much useful to me. But if I were to choose a wallet for long time hodling of Ethereum, Bitcoin, and other coins, I would strongly recommend to use hard wallets. There is a lot more safety to it than MEW.

No man, I haven't touched MyEtherWallet after that hack. I'm staying away from web wallet for life and no matter how attractive or easy to use they make the web wallets I'm not touching them. Its better than ending up losing your entire coin stash. Had few Ethereum on MEW which I'm going to withdraw from there.
I am using myetherwallet, I didn´t have any problem with this wallet!
About DNS attack - nothing to worry about, the average intelligent person won´t be affected.

As of today, I am still using MEW using my private key. Pretty soon I will migrate to Metamask or just simply buying myself a hardware wallet for full safety and security. I would choose safety and security when it comes to wallets, and I honestly believe that Metamask and a hardware wallet like Nano Ledger would be the best options. But for now, I cannot afford yet to buy a Nano Ledger to store my coins.

Yes I do, if you are scared about some hacks and phishing sites right now then follow the safety tips in using MyEtherWallet,
make sure to download Cryptonite by MetaCret (Google extension) it prevents phishing sites.
