I think that's probably because there is a good capital coin in the market so maybe they move a bit faster when compared to bitcoin but bitcoin is also not far behind so bitcoin still can compete with other coins in the market and in my opinion bitcoin will lead sutau market later because bitcoin is the king of all coins and bitcoin is the best

Currently Bitcoin transaction are faster than a few months ago because of growing SegWit adoption. There are faster altcoins but it's because less people use them and they have a lower time between blocks which has some advantages and disadvantages. Lightning Network is working as a 2 layer solution and it works faster than any other altcoin and it's working on Bitcoin.

in my opinion not, old coins are tantamount to bitcoin movement to date. maybe just your feelings just old coins have a fast movement. maybe it also depends on their rotation volume every 24H. if it's a lot of trading, maybe it will make the coin move faster.

I think the speed of transacting in bitcoin currencies will be slow, if they are too much traffic or they are just transacting large bitcoins at the same time, like the common problem we face for a transaction in bitcoin and we should consider first , because they are altcoin much faster than bitcoin, such as ethereum.
