I think the other coins also move faster
because they are still profitable and through this many people are quite interested in the services that they offer  in the public and international market.

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Crytocurrencies in its nature are very unpredictable but also can be predicted. We can used to evaluate the currency based on its used and such the growing demands for alt coins nowadays. Nevertheless, bitcoin is much faster than other coins in the blockchain (high marketing status and known by almost every people)- though higher price/cost. However, alt coins and other coins are developing and it depends upon the team to put value and effort (composing the coin) to make it much bigger and relevant than the BITCOIN cash. Note, the lower the cost the higher the customer`s value…Thus, with alt coin speeding its way in the blockchain (while spending lower cost of investments)  could exceed bitcoin having higher pricing. So, yes, it might…

Correct, we don't need centralized speed.

At least there's one reasonable, critically thinking individually poking their head up in the thread.

Pro-tip, when you want to post twice in a row like you just did you can easily Edit the first post to include what you would've made the second post. That way things are less messy.

Bitcoin has been determined as semi-decentralized due to the big miners out there controlling most of the network, and the fact that it hasn't receives rapid development, it might be much harder to update a decentralized protocol than we think.

By that logic there can be no true decentralization. The decentralization will become broken down to some extent if you analyze it based on inequality of hash power among miners. At some point, unless everyone is running an equally powered mining rig / full-node then the best we can hope for is semi-decentralization without a radical change in the foundation. Even if everyone was running an equally powered rig, we would also have to somehow nullify any influence that someone may have over miner(s), because this could be abused as if the power was the influencers, if the influence is great enough.

I might be going off on a tangent, but my point is this: Even if we agree that Bitcoin is only semi-decentralized, then it would still be a better option than anything centralized. Harder to update, because of the requirement of consensus among the development community in my opinion has kept Bitcoin healthy all these years.

I don't think so other coins are moving faster than bitcoin if they say it's moving as a bitcoiner we can feel also that bitcoin  is moving to if there are other coins we already know and maybe some of bitcoiner will transfer already but bitcoin it's still improving moving every year.

I think other currencies are moving faster than bitcoin. But even if these currencies move fast, they are never as high as bitcoin. and although the Bitcoin movement is slow and not as fast as Altcoin but the Bitcoin value remains that highest among thousands of coins.

It is true that btc is currently slow compared to other coin, but it is still the king and it is still leading the market, look at the present. That proves that btc is slow but will not have any money to replace it, at least for now.

I do not think some of the alternative coins do surpass bitcoin as to its value or rises faster. Bitcoin is still the most valuable crypt coin. It is still the most trusted coin in crypto currency world.

I think other coins can move fast but bitcoin move faster than all of them. Because according to me if other coins move faster they should be the top one among the crypto currencies nowadays. But we all know that currently bitcoin is still on top which just means that bitcoin is the fastest among the coins that exist today.

it can be slower than some kind of other cryptocurrencies, but still most of transactions are completed in Bitcoin blockchain, so people are still putting there trust on bitcoin more than on any other currency.

From my six-month market analysis, I can see DASH is moving really faster than all other cryptos even recent days BCH is on extremely downtrend.

Not really, because Bitcoin actually determines the movement of other coins especially those coins in big exchanges like Binance, kucoin et al. I think that says it all Wink

it is always depends on the team who works for the token or coin . The development of the project is a must and also the team must show that they are really active on marketing like in social media or other forms of events like orientation and many more . It always depends on the team because they need to persuade people to support their project

You're right if the developers of the coin are active in endorsing their coin and have lots of idea and developments to improve the coin status in the market their coin will move faster and have possible go to moon.

To me, I see Bitcoin as the best right now and BTC has not lost any competition. The cryptocurrency market is currently controlled by Bitcoin. When BTC goes up, everything goes up and whem it is down, market goes down generally.
I do not understand what he is the best? He is the best only in that he has the highest price. And more than anything. There are a huge number of coins in which the cost of transactions is much lower than that of bitcoins and the transaction speed is hundreds of times greater than that of bitcoins.

I don't know if there is another crypto currency the runs now but I will believe and trust that bitcoin is still the best because it can help a lot of people even the price is low. Maybe community affects tge bitcoin because people in the community use bitcoin so, users can be a affect to have a difficult decision.

I think the behavior for bitcoin is that the other coins' prices are lower. My opinion is that the other coins can not beat bitcoin

Too many crypto currencies have sprung up, because it's easy to adapt blockchain technology. Many other coins have been introduced that are used as a means of payment for every transcript of any particular project or business. This can help the crypto currency economy grow more and expand widely.
