Yes, good ALTs coin move very faster than bitcoin. Because of the low market capital and popularity. When we analyze the market within past year, we can clearly identify fast gainer become fast looser also. Now price increment happens because of the news. After some days it becomes to again based price.

With the current price of btc I dont think that btc is moving too slow, comparing with other coins, btc is still the fastest moving at all.
Bitcoin is moving to slow now it's ridiculous cause bitcoin is still fastest moving at all coins, no one can defeat on bitcoin even the value now is down but if they increase they move faster than jet plane.

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Bitcoin has a bigger platform than that of other cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is an experienced and upgrade cryptocurrency, but its volatile nature produce difficulties in its progress.  Cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin know as Altcoin. And in resent time Altcoin make an unimaginable progress. Altcoin like etherium price is too good to invest. Many people choose it for long term investment. Litecoin is also made an unimaginable progress. Litecoin clear more transitions in a day in comparison to bitcoin. Like this ripple also provid better transaction experience to its user.

Bitcoin and other potential alternative coins in the market are moving according to the factors that dictates their price movement in the market. There are several factors that affects the value of each coins. Such fluctuations are making them competitive with each other and creating a larger marketcap for the entire cryptocurrency world. As long as they are circulating freely in the trading system, it is making this technology more interesting and    useful to us.

Not at all. In fact the only reasons that the coins now can move as fast as they can move is because bitcoin has paved the way for them for it to be possible for coins to do so well in such a short amount of time. It still remains that bitcoin is the best coin and it is the coin that has moved the fasted in the years more than all of the other coins

if I have never believed such thoughts. even if I notice every bitcoin price falls, other coin coin prices also fall. as if bitcoin will become the center and other coin pricing determinants .

Market is a competition arena there should be, because there are more than a thousand coins circulating in the market. Altcoin moves very fast, it could someday soon overtake bitcoin. But for now nothing has beaten the bitcoin. Bitcoin is still king.

I do not mind another coin faster than bitcoin if it can be fast then they should be the same or at the bitcoin price right now. There are also many that slow down like snails but they all come from bitcoin and why most crypto users are still able to use bitcoin instead of other cryptocurrencies

Coins moving fast is not a sign that is a good coin, most of the alternative coin are just pump and dump so be careful and be smart enough to know when to pull out your money and watch the market for that particular alternative coin again.

I think bitcoin transaction speed become slow when their are too much traffic or their are huge bitcoin transaction at the same time and this is the common problem that we encounter to transact bitcoin and we have to consider it, And while bitcoin dominates the market, several other digital currencies are making waves.

I don't think there is any coin that move faster than Bitcoin reason been that Bitcoin is the market mover to all other altcoins in the crypto currency market, so, what ever move they take will definitely depends on the Bitcoin movement to either upward trend or downward direction.

Almost all depends on the current Bitcoin price. if the Bitcoin price goes up then another token will have a good price.

But even if these currencies move fast, they are never as high as bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most traded electronic currency in the crypto market.

Many altcoins are moving faster than Bitcoin, but that's still a great value below Bitcoin. Bitcoin remains the number one, although it says Bitcoin is slow.

Bitcoin does not have serious competitors with large capitalization! but in the next 5 years they should appear! after the coinage of 5 large coins, the crypto market will not depend on the growth or drop of bitcoin! In any case, bitcoin, this is the grandfather of all coins! it will always exist and will not go anywhere, its price will constantly grow up! I want prices to be independent of the bitcoin price! Only in this way will the crypto market be able to move forward without stopping at bitcoin dropping!

No way. Its not possible. You  can see other  altcoin price will decrease if bitcoin price dropped. Always bitcoin is the king of crypto market. I think no one can beat bitcoin because some other altcoins are just also relying on btc.

Correct, we don't need centralized speed.

At least there's one reasonable, critically thinking individually poking their head up in the thread.

Pro-tip, when you want to post twice in a row like you just did you can easily Edit the first post to include what you would've made the second post. That way things are less messy.

Bitcoin has been determined as semi-decentralized due to the big miners out there controlling most of the network, and the fact that it hasn't receives rapid development, it might be much harder to update a decentralized protocol than we think.

By that logic there can be no true decentralization. The decentralization will become broken down to some extent if you analyze it based on inequality of hash power among miners. At some point, unless everyone is running an equally powered mining rig / full-node then the best we can hope for is semi-decentralization without a radical change in the foundation. Even if everyone was running an equally powered rig, we would also have to somehow nullify any influence that someone may have over miner(s), because this could be abused as if the power was the influencers, if the influence is great enough.

I might be going off on a tangent, but my point is this: Even if we agree that Bitcoin is only semi-decentralized, then it would still be a better option than anything centralized. Harder to update, because of the requirement of consensus among the development community in my opinion has kept Bitcoin healthy all these years.
I think there are some other coins that move faster than bitcoin and some even exceed the bitcoin price, though so bitcoin has more functions than the other highest coins. and bitcoin remains more reliable because bitcoin is already known to everyone from any coin.
