Generally I think this year will be a year to forget for most of the ICOs. The bearish run has left many projects void of ideas and helpless as both the price of the money raised and their tokens have fallen drastically. Many are finding it difficult funding their project from the raised fund.
Perhaps 2018 will be a watershed for ICO. Who says that ISO is bad? The principles of ICO work will change. ISO is how to invent a bicycle.
This is not the end of the world, if we check 2018 statistics, we can see that it has actually been an increase of the number of ICOs. But surely, it is not that great investment lately, people lost a lot of money, because of the bad performance of average quality ICOs. 
This year may look like it has not been profitable for some ICOs, but one thing i have noticed is that, ICOs that do not have genuine products to back their projects up or that will add value to its coin will likely not succeed. So, that some projects did not succeed, does not mean that others did not succeed.
I think this is just a year for so many people to get into ico as things will surely gets better with icos. lets just enjoy the ride.
So far this has not been a good year! However, i think that this will finally be the period when the ETF finally transpires. Onces this is permitted, bitcoin will rise at the same rate as gold when it suddenly shot up almost vertically. Stay positive for a few more weeks!
one thing is clear. it will be better than the last ... if it happens otherwise, you can forget about the phenomenon of crypto currency.

because of the high expectations last year and the market now, i think the ico market is not in a good condition now unlike last years high performing icos and it is more scam icos now than last year so i think investors are bit hands off

The ICO market is bad, there are fewer investors, there are more scams and people don't trust ICOs any more, so the market on the decline and I am not sure when it is coming back.
We were convinced that this year was very unsuccessful for the crypto currency. I hope that next year will be successful. I believe that the growth of the crypto currency will begin in early 2019.
Difficult to say whether the number of ICO will grow this year or not, but one thing I understand for sure is that at the moment ICO are in the peak of popularity and in this regard there is such an option that their number may increase by the end of 2018.

The ICO really will not sell their tokens at this time, it is too dangerous for them and the investors. The most important thing is to make the project fail while the market is deteriorating

I do not wish that but at this point that is what we have been served cause the rate at which there is so much scam in ICOs the system needs to thoroughly sanitized to gain back its glory.But this year is a bad year for ICOs
It seems to me at the moment is not a good time for the ICO. Investors do not have confidence in new projects, since the ICOs that have already passed have turned out to be either a fraud, or are not following their road map and do not bring any profit to their investors. Let's hope that next year the situation will change and we will see only quality projects that will bring real benefits to the world.

This year for me I'd say yes I think this is not a good year for ICO. Due to a lot of issues in hype or scam projects and a lot of complain about token value and distribution problem. Plus investors are hesitant to invest because of market bearish trend. All that negative factors that's ICOs at the moment decreasing a bit.
Yes, I have believed it, it can be seen that the number of ICOs currently in existence is very large and still growing, this can be compared to the development of ICO in previous years whose competition was not as big as now. The market is also decreasing because the demand for products is decreasing and uneven, there are many of them who are only trapped in ICOs that is a scam.
The market makes every investor fear. And ICO investment is a risky investment so no investor wants to venture in this stage. So ICO in the last 6 months becomes boring and no one is interested in it
