The life's cycle of these cryptocurrencies are so unstable to be have them because popularity is not stable too. I am not against from them but I will not join to them.
I don't think that I would place my trust on celebrity backed coins. Since we all already know and have witnessed the cryptocurrencies can do very well without any celebrity backing them it begs the question if the creators are just using these celebrities to get more people to invest in their coin? I would not be opposed to it but I would have to do my own thorough research first.

Of course everyone can talk, but a celebrity talking about a particular project might attract the attention of many people.

They are endorsing it for the profits. They know nothing about cryptos other than that is a good money to be made. If you see an ICO endorsed by a celebrity, run away as far as you can.
Unfortunately, there is no reason to trust any celebrities, because they do not understand the cryptocurrencies and also i think it is very easy to "buy" their endorsements.

If it was a celebrity, then maybe that's a legit cryptocurrency. I would prefer trusting crypto endorsed by a celebrity because of the expense they invest to endorse their product in crypto.
They get money for promotion. They don't understand what they're advertising. I dont trust such advertising.

i dont really trust it because they just advertise the coin and they just getting paid by advertising it.

Celebrities know nothing about cryptocurrencies, why should we trust in his/her opinion? They are just investors like us, believing in specific projects, nothing else. But, yes, if the celebrity is a developer, then we should consider reviewing his endorsement. If his logic is transparent, then yes we may listen to him.

I do not think that celebrities supporting cryptocurrencies have a real cause. Celebrities endorsing crypto is like a fashion I think. But it is a good initiative that celebrities are supporting cryptocurrency. But what is needed is self regulation and cryptocurrency should do what it is established for in order to make it more strong and stable.
