In genearal ,if the cryptocurrency is accepted worldwide and become legit , then the cryptocurrency is very useful in life, but not totally because cryptocurrency could only be use when there is internet access in that certain place, for wr our now using the said cashless society.

Hi there OP, done filled the survey. About the question, it's hard to use cryptocurrencies in my daily life, because in my country here, there are many people that still don't know about bitcoin and how is the bitcoin works. So no shops or café that accept bitcoin here and I only can use cryptocurrency for online things.
Indeed, we would like to use cryptocurrency regularly in daily life is impossible when the scope of crypto activity is still very small, it is not even allowed by the government, this is a very big limitation and that makes the user only able to use crypto for simple purposes, such as online payment or online investment. And these purposes does not seem too useful for our lives because we can do it very easily through a bank card, fast and convenient, cards are accepted and are always the preferred method everywhere, crypto is not really necessary for real life September 05, 2018, 09:55:07 AM
Yes! I'm using cryptocurrencies last two years. And i get a lot of benefit from this. But sometimes I lost my profit. So what, I think this the best platform for me!

This and other questions are part of a questionnaire that we, a research team from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) are doing. It seeks to understand the drivers' usage of cryptocurrencies by the end user such as you and me. Considering 10 different dimensions, from perceived usefulness to privacy to profitability, among others.
It takes on average 3 minutes to answer.

For this, it was created a questionnaire with Likert type scale questions. These dimensions will then be used to construct a model, based on the traditional Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed in 1989, and some others developed afterwards, but with more adapted to the cryptocurrencies ecosystem. Then it will be done some data analysis and compilation of results.
This questionnaire has some focus on the financial area, but this does not mean it is the most important. We know there are some other dimensions not being addresses in this questionnaire, such as decentralisation/government influence, that may be addressed in the future.
After analysing and publishing the thesis and papers I will post on this forum with infographics and the most important conclusions of the study.
There are no open questions, but you can post here or message me about this.

The truth is though it is useful today in our modern day still some business companies didn't allow it to them so we xant really say that it could help us in our daily living.. Today we cant use it to buy simple things in the store especially if you are living in a third world country.. But for me it is also useful.. Because of working here why i didn't problem a lots about my financial aspect.. Thats why even crypto is not widely used as a payment system still it will be very useful to us.. And soon in the future..

I don't use it, but this is still not common. Commonly, crypto can be used if the money is accepted and if the usage areas are formed. But only bitcoin ethereum like known coins are used. She uses a limited cut. It needs more development to be used more.

I seldom used crypto especially bitcoin in my daily living. I only used it in emergency cases like buying loads for my phone when my load expires and for paying my monthly bills. Yes, for me this is useful because as long as you have the net and funds in your wallet you can do an online transaction like purchasing goods or services and money transfers as quickly as possible.

Its hard to find merchant in my country that accepting cryptocurrency for payment. Many country in the world still not regulate cryptocurrency for payment because government think crypto can used for criminal action.
Hopely in near time, cryptocurrency can accepted as payment in many merchant and crypto adoption spread all around the world

Yup, on the brighter side it is very very hard to see that many merchants are involved in the crypto currency projects. They are just not accepting the crypto currency payment solutions because they fear of the government and they dont wanna stake their own business into the trouble just because they used the crypto as payment method and government imposed restrictions on them. Already many government are angry about the use of crypto and thus ceasing the bank accounts which are associated with the crypto transactions. May be they are not useful these days but lets hope regulations will come to an end where we can be able to use the crypto currencies on daily life.

I have been with cryptocurrency for the past years and will always be with crypto all the days of my life. I came into cryptocurrency with poor financial background but i am now stable financially.

from my experience,yes, cryptocurrencies are pretty helpful, i use crypto to pay our bills like internet bills, i've also use crypto as a form of payment because of its effeciency and easy to use, can do transaction where ever you are.

No, I never use crypto currency in my daily life. Instead Bitcoin is the most useful virtual currency here in my country where I can exchange it through coins.ph were one of the merchant who was also accepted Eth, Bch, and Xrp as mode of payment to convert it into our currency. However, I believed that crypt also very useful in my belief it may not be in my daily life but in some other things.

I am not using cryptocurrency or any cryptocurrency in my daily basis life because in my country there is no store or restaurant or anything that i can spend my bitcoin or any cryptocurrency directly like a fiat money, so it is not useful if we will stick to the topic about the cryptocurrencies in daily life.

Same here, funny enough I started using crypto in real life after I speculated at the exchanges...it should be the other way around. I spent a lot of time looking for merchants on the net that accept crypto, it's still the vast minority but the list is growing.

Not every day since I only used it when I'm out of fiat money in my wallet. For me, this is very useful especially when I'm out of loads in emergency cases where I need to call my family from home and instead of looking for a store to buy loads, I can use my bitcoin in loading my mobile phones and also for money transfers instead sending it to a pawn shop I can directly send it from my wallet to my family or friend's wallet.

Personally i don't use crypto currency in my daily like simply because there are no stores that accepts crypto currency and the stores that do accept them, I don't even want or need what they're selling. I would really want to use my crypto currency like a currency but gicen the situation, i think ill just use it as an investment.
Indeed. That was also the same thing which is happening to me and my friends right now that even we want to directly use our Bitcoin for daily life basis, still we cannot do it because our country was still not establishing stores to accept direct payment using Bitcoin although we do have QR code scan to pay our goods, but still we do have to convert it into our national currency and transfer it into specific account that caters QR code payment process just to somehow use our Bitcoin. I'm not using crypto currency on my daily life because honestly here in our county cryptos are not so very popular and it's quite few people here know about digital money. But then I used crypto currency to help me to get a little bit of profit, for example last pass few weeks I received my bounty rewards and I sold it to become real money or Fiat money then I this to our daily lives. So for me it is literally using cryptos are we can help us but through Fiat we can also use this to our daily lives.

I am not really using them everyday because i keep them as an investment although there are really times that i used them to buy goods online. Yes, they are very useful that it makes my online transaction very easy with less transaction fee.
