No, I don't use cryptocurrency in everyday life, because in my country cryptocurrency is not a legitimate payment instrument, I like to sell cryptocurrency that I have if I need money.

This and other questions are part of a questionnaire that we, a research team from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) are doing. It seeks to understand the drivers' usage of cryptocurrencies by the end user such as you and me. Considering 10 different dimensions, from perceived usefulness to privacy to profitability, among others.
It takes on average 3 minutes to answer.

Here is the link for the questionnaire:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/cryptocurrencies_usage

More details if you want to know more about it:
For this, it was created a questionnaire with Likert type scale questions. These dimensions will then be used to construct a model, based on the traditional Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed in 1989, and some others developed afterwards, but with more adapted to the cryptocurrencies ecosystem. Then it will be done some data analysis and compilation of results.
This questionnaire has some focus on the financial area, but this does not mean it is the most important. We know there are some other dimensions not being addresses in this questionnaire, such as decentralisation/government influence, that may be addressed in the future.
After analysing and publishing the thesis and papers I will post on this forum with infographics and the most important conclusions of the study.

There are no open questions, but you can post here or message me about this.

Thank you for your time! Best Regards,
The University Institute of Lisbon research team

I occasionally use it to purchase digital goods from some sites but other than that I only use crypto for trading. Cryptocurrency as a form of payment is banned in my country so I can't use it to buy things offline and there's only a few sites where I can spend my crypto, I guess in a few more years we will see more crypto adoption that will make crypto more useful in our daily life.

I occasionally purchase goods from websites in other countries. They have a method of accepting payments with bitcoin so it is quite easy and smooth for me. In the future, I hope Cryptocurrency will be more widely available

Bitcoin is probably very beneficial to my life. When traveling in countries where bitcoin is available, I can pay for the service I used. Although, Bitcoin payment methods may not be developed in my country.

Where I live, crypto is not really popular and widely accepted. I do not have the habit of using crypto every day. I only use crypto on trading platform, and store them as personal property.

I use cryptocurrencies in my everyday living. Having it would be a better way to transact faster and easier. It is where I pay my bills and where I buy electronic load. Crypto plays a vital role in my daily necessities which makes things more convenient for me. I would love to have it all the time to get have a hussle free living.
We need people like you brother. Most of us have made this world of bitcoin only as earning source. People don’t use it as it is made for being used a payment method throughout the world. People don’t use it for business purposes and to fast the communication and transaction world. Rather it is being considered as source of income and people are earning from it.

I'm not using cryptocurrencies in my daily life and this for me is the main sign of they are useless, because if they will be useful for real, I think every one of us will be using it somehow everyday.

No, I don't.
In my country, crypto currency seems has no benafit because it can not be use for any transaction. Therefore, I do not use it in my daily life because of limited or even no transaction using it. I need to convert the digital currency to my currency then I can use it as payments or others.

I do not use it, but I'd like to use it. The problem is that there are not so many people here in Brazil who have already adopted the technology. The only transactions I do today are with my brother, we exchange Bytecoins when we do some personal business (negotiating an old object, for example)

In my country I convert first cryptocurrency into cash before I used it, even cryptos are recognized here only selected store are directly accepted bitcoin as payments that's why I convert first before I used it to buy my needs, my foods, clothes, etc. Even like this, it is very useful for me.
