There is not such a thing as a safe investment and when you look at the market even a good ico has almost no chance to make you money in the short term and since the time a ico is alive is very short it is likely that even if you held your coins that will not be long enough for the next bull market to appear so the best thing is to stay out of the market for now.

From ICO that i join, it is better to hit and run. After you buy ICO that you believe will give you profit, sell it immediately. It is better because even old ICO, have price that down a lot from ICO price.
Yes there are lot of exit scams going on, I'm a victim of one ICO, I participated in its bounty campaign, after the developers raised money they elope with the fund without any traces.. I've stop following bounties randomly, it's either I follow some tested and trusted bounty managers or I use bounty platform. The bounty platform I can recommend is Bountyhive though all the project on its platform can still be reviewed individually.

indeed many now complain about the fraud of the ICO project. but this did not prevent me from continuing to look for the best ICO to invest. I usually analyze before bargaining in it, usually I read whitepaper from each project that I will follow. there are many things that we can value whether the project has a clear goal and a great team. and I am grateful that until now I have never had an ICO scam.

investing in ico is no guarantee of being safe from the first ico appearing. You must know that, and as you say. but the conclusion is you can invest in altcoins that have been traded to get good luck, there are many choices and I think some ico really can provide big profits.

Yes always making investment in crypto will be more profitable. Now the value is not good so don't get panic about current situation just invest more on bitcoin and hold it for future. As per my experience and knowledge at current situation we should keep ourselves aside from ico's for some time is better because this time ico's are not that much profitable and not doing as expected.

As long as you stick to projects with strong background - decentralized, established team, long history and so on - you will be fine. One thing that's making investing more dangerous than anything else is the fact that people neglect their security and use centralized exchanges and closed source wallets to hold funds there. If you don't own your private keys, or can't verify the source code of your wallet to see if you are the ONLY person to access the private keys, you can make the greatest investment decision ever and later find yourself with your account zeroed. Never store your funds on centralized exchanges and only use open source wallets (Bitcoin Qt, HODLER, Electrum etc) and you'll be safe. And always look for when wallets (especially multiwallets) market market themselves to be open source but really they are closed source.
