For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

Somewhat yes, but I think what really matters is how you make a gameplan of the never ending ups and downs of Bitcoin. Also, stability really matters to in order for some people to think about joining ang buying bitcoin.

Bitcoin demand reflects upon its price, so I would say that price matters for any asset especially the non-manipulated ones.

Yes it does. That is how or when is the time for selling of its price. Bitcoin is where you can base your invest in btc.
Because selling bitcoins is as easy as buying, it's a bit too volatile as now, and we're facing a price-dropping phenomenon but I'm sure prices are skyrocketing again.

The price really matters, but not depend only to that. For the btc has many other factors to depend on. Some of us really care about the proce, waiting for it to go up and being sad when it goes down. We are so much affected by it, but if you will see the other areas such as the companies being accepted bitcoin as their payment, other countries being implemented btc and other as the altcoins to be their currency and many investors will buy/sell bitcoins which is more relevant and more important than focusing on the price alone. I didn't say that is irrelevant to focus on the proce, what I am saying is let's not depend on it alone but to look on other areas too.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
February 02, 2018, 10:56:18 AM
To those people who are earning through trading or investing, the price really matters because they are always watching the market to be able to identify when is the good time to buy and sell a coin in which they will be profitable at the end. It really matters if you treat bitcoin as a source of income because what you're earning actually depends what the price of bitcoin is.
People should not fully depend on bitcoin as their source of income because this kind of scenarios where the price of bitcoin is going down is a good lesson for those people who treat bitcoin like their regular job. It is best for the traders and investors in bitcoin to diversify their money so they will have another source of income that they can use the profit as a backup money for them to spend.

for me yes it does matter, bitcoin is a cryptocurrency where we invest in and or work at to earn money, the price of it really matters since if it has a high price then we can get a lot of profit for the one who invest in it while for those who do bounties and campaign will earn more. what if we just invest and do bounties without thinking its price cause it doesn't matter that is not a good business at all. Cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and other coins also our local currency matter because of its price. It really matter whether it goes up or down it will affect everyone in bitcoin community.

For some people it matters the most since a lot of people are relying on the price to pump and use that price to buy other digital currencies and start your way of trading them. If bitcoin is dumping, well, a lot of them are starting to panic and saying that bitcoin is dead even though it is just the time for the volatility to kick in.

In my perspective bitcoin price matters. Because of the value of bitcoin many people got interested in bitcoin. Also, the bitcoin is unique especially of being virtual currency or digital currency which you cannot hold the bitcoin but you can use it to buy those things that is essential to our life. If bitcoin does not have a price I think the people will stop choosing bitcoin because money does matter.
