I changed my settings so that you can message me on a new account @ the guys that asked.

And I'll attach a full member's response to the information I shared with him, I think it should be all you need in concordance with my original post.

"Ahh I see. So, it the video was innosilicon miner.....the watt meter at 1400watts-ish was probably measuring watts of an antminer s9 12.5th. The slushpool worker 16th was probably 2 machines making 16th. There was a second of that halong vid showing 4th hashrate on that computer, thats probably the 2nd worker. Adamback will probably claim he is a victim as he supposedly bought 200k of items. Btcdrak is an invisible person. The newbie posts in the thread supporting them were newly created and recent, and maybe some bought over accounts. Ppl like promojo were probably paid. Recently, some forumers claim they could not buy the halong batch because it went out of stock or had no buy button, etc. I guess they are not really selling anymore. They are juz pretendin to do so, to smokescreen till april so they have more time to get away. They are willin to take the risks with big orders because that one big order nets alot of money and only adds to 1 more victim voice screamin scam. The idea is to have 200-300 victims claim scam and not 1000-1500 victims. These people dont wanna be investigated later lol. Their telegram group has like 400 people only after all... and cant be everyone ordered....i suspect in april they may make some bs excuse to extend another month. Delay seems like of their tactics.

Philipma managing to find the innosilicon picture, was something they did not expect. That cracked the case lol. They did not expect this. I guess innosilicon replies to u since u buy alot.

Juz my 2cents. Thanks for info."

Well a nice fairy tale about the possibility to have the power consumption of another machine and the hashrate of two machines.
And of course you mentioned all the scam-scream anti-proofs - but there is a story between it you are not telling (see page 34 to 38 if you are really interested).

And of course MyRig was bought with 10 Million of the scam money, to improve the scam --- really? That is the worst theory out there, but well ... at the end with all new proofs ONE IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU CANNOT REFUSE

The video was taken in the office of Slushpool together with Jan Braiins (the CEO of Slushpool).
Why they should do a fake video? It is 100% confirmed by him.

And the scam screamers again found a hint for "smoke", "mirrors" and "red flags".
Because the team of Slushpool was, by mistake, tagged in the tweet of Adam Back about the video of the DragonMint.
The officials of Slush declined to be in any connection with Halong. Well, that is right!

But Jan Braiins did an official tweet in his account and he confirmed the test and the making of the demo video in the offices of Slushpool. The video you all know!
You can see the commandline and there is an hashrate display error (from the miner software), but Slushpool confirmed that the one device has the hashrate.

What is left about scam?
Maybe they assembled 20 machines (for demo reasons) and they will never go to the production and delivery?
In this case it would be a big and perfect organized scam. Almost unbelievable big!

But for now the proofs are leading to the result its more real.

I was looking at this page https://halongmining.com/shop/dragonmint-16t-miner/ for the first time and I enlarged the pictures: the first thing I noticed as soon as I enlarged pictures #1 and #2 is that they have a lot of digital noise, which reduces a lot the definition and the quality of the pictures, and this noise is everywhere in the pictures but in the DragonMint logo, which looks pretty much perfect, and this is not normal, because it should be quite noticeable. And the first thing I'd think is that the logo has been added in Photoshop after the pictures have been taken. Am I the only one who noticed this weird thing?

That's a good point.  The photos of the logo on the machine are definitely photoshopped.

Thanks bt898 will PM you as soon as I get back to my office.

Just to keep everyone updated I emailed myrig.com as soon as Halong announced that they would be selling the Dragonmint miners. I inquired on when they will have stock availability and whether they will be excepting paypal payments (I have insurance with paypal and will feel better paying for these machines through paypal rather than make a bitcoin payment)

Unfortunately I got an automated response that someone will be in contact with me and have still not heard anything from them.

The paypal logo is displayed on the website, but seem I got my hopes up for nothing.

Also I just noticed that Halong's website has changed to out of stock.

I guess now we just have to wait and see if anything will come from tomorrows demo day.

That’s the same.

myrig = halong mining

I never had contact with someone else except yoshi or scott, if myrig or halong mining.

Halong may very well have every intention of trying to create an actual miner so this is not the typical run away with the money scam. However they are completely deceptive in their tactics.

This just sparked an idea in my mind... the initial conversation about Halong having $30 Million in development funds is backed by zero data. Whomever those investors are, nobody knows. Maybe the investment never happened.

However... they started taking orders in November. They probably raised $10-$15M doing THAT, and gave themselves until April to figure it out. They're TRYING to make a miner, and have six months to pull it off using the pre-order money. Maybe seven months if they announce an unexpected problem, or "yield issue" with the wafers or some other such excuse. Maybe the pull it off, maybe they don't.

In the video, people swore they were looking at an S9. In the photos, people swear its an Innosilicon product. They used whatever was available to generate their buzz. Prototypes, they'll say. Keyword in SkyLakeMine's post above... "intention" -- they're scrambling to make it happen? Who knows.

"real mining" as unicorns are real. At the moment no one knows except few people. Other random people on internet like you and me have no idea, since there are no "real" proofs, only speculations(as you are in speculation part of forum)

Accordin to bt898, innosilicon says they do not know halong and they said the pic was their unit. There is no point targetting me as I am only a small fry consumer. I am juz curious and I dont have anything against anyone. If this miner turns out to be real, I hope halong dont hold it against me, although I am skeptical at the moment. The way we get info, it is difficult to not be skeptical.

The obelisk miner is real? It only cost 1.65k and can make over 10k a month is odd. Any1 actually ordered and ran one before.

outside of off topic junk threads, this thread must have the highest newbie account ratio on this forum shilling in both directions. it's kind of depressing to witness.

... but it is also true that they explained that the photo and video was a simple prototype, moreover they are working in absolute secrecy...

I'm not too concerned about a photoshopped image.  Heck, even my Cheerios box has fake milk on the image.  So as a singular event, who cares.  But many small brush strokes when added together start to paint a picture and this picture doesn't look good right now.  The only hope I have is that Scott Offord appears to be a legitimate source, who must surely know that he is going to prison for internet fraud if he's complicit in this scam, if that's what it turns out to be.  In the U.S., the FBI handles cases like this (again if a fraud) and will be involved if this turns bad. See this link https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx .  Hopefully, the demo in Miami happens as scheduled and we get some reliable feedback/reviews from credible sources that will squelch all the negativity.  Hopefully Halong is just being super-secretive to protect sensitive corporate info, but enough is enough.  It's time to come clean, Halong.

Hopefully tomorrow or in the next few days the leaders of Halong give us the definitive proof that the device exists, it would be great to be able to believe that we are all honest. (also the Italians).

Uh, what?
