I am more on the idea that Drake posted this as spur-of-the-moment thing.
Not asking or anything on that regard to promote the casino involved.
But with the publicity that stake got from Drake. Who knows, stake is already thinking of getting Drake as part of their celebrity endorsers?
For his followers, they should definitely think if they can follow his lifestyle because not many can bet such amount without the possibility of losing it all.

I don't recommend Stake to get Drake as one of their endorsers, Drake has a gambling problem he can bet a huge amount of money because he still can make a lot of money as a concert artist and he also admitted that he has a gambling problem, it's against what Stake.com preaches in their TOS about responsible gaming.

if he has gambling problems then he will ruin his reputation, mental health and with that he will drag the stake along, I think it would not be beneficial for the stake. I don't follow the lives of these singers much, but do you know when he started to have these problems with gambling? I want to understand if he already had this problem with gambling before he had a lot of money or if he acquired this problem after having a lot of money

Whether that's it or not, we can all agree that he's capable of it despite with or without the marketing thing from stake. That's the reality as he's a big man that has a lot of money to gamble at any amount that he wishes.
And also we can agree that what Drake has down has been trending and made a noise so it's a very effective thing from him. He's got a lot of reach and maybe some casinos will look at it and may inquire to him if they want to advertise through him.

Let's just leave the idea that it's paid. Let's look at the positive feedback of the community and his fans towards that share he did.

This.
Exactly! There's also the ad that came from Coinbase, just a QR and everything has went well. So for Drake's win in this bet during the super bowl.
It's up for everyone to believe whether it's for real as he's a rich guy and capable of betting such amount or it's just part of any promo and marketing which he's part of.

Of course, it's real. Why he should put a fake bet lol. Publicity or not for the Stake, that bet is genuine and unique. He placed that bet prior to the match of course, shared a bet slip, and won. Drake won't do something bad to promote something.

I don't understand why others should think that's a fake bet. There's no way it can be like that.
We don't have different minds and thinking. It's always about curiosity that ends up with the idea that one is just all about marketing and advertisement. But as I've said, let's just leave it and be it. He had won and he had given great exposure to crypto itself with that bet of his.

Maybe we can suggest that to Stake but if Stake still wants to hire Drake as one of their endorsers and they've already spent a lot of money, Drake will stick with them. Apart from that, maybe Stake has other considerations for Drake and hopefully, Stake can help Drake cure Drake's gambling problem. And if Drake can overcome his gambling problems, it will lift Stake's popularity because he has helped one of his endorsers overcome his problem in gambling.

If he becomes their endorser he will gamble more because he is getting more money besides doing a concert and he will enjoy perks that Stake.com is going to offer, to make him play more and how will Stake.com help Drake overcome his gambling, will they offer him to take professional help and fund his healing session, it's like Stake.com helping Drake to dump them, Cheesy Cheesy
Remember part of the healing is dumping anything related to gambling and Stake is one of them.

Well that is a massive amount of bitcoin that he won and I think before he achieved that amount as a reward for sure he also experiences massive losses.
We have heard different stories of big winnings that happen using crypto and I think this will help to spread the awareness of cryptocurrency and bitcoin and perhaps many gamblers will also be inspired to hear the winning of Drake that has been wagered a massive amount.
How lucky he is and I hope there are more gamblers like him who value cryptocurrencies.

He can afford it that's why others should not think of being bitter or negative.

Drake is really a gambler since then. He already used to gamble at several gambling sites already.

We, as a low bettor have no choice but to just watch him lol.

Do you mean, it's more that Drake is really used on betting with the Stake platform and it's just that, it happened he bet a big amount that's why it become a talk of a town?

That makes sense although it's really a quiet public advertisement at a high chance.

For his followers, they should definitely think if they can follow his lifestyle because not many can bet such amount without the possibility of losing it all.

I don't think by being a follower, they should also do the same lifestyle as their Favorites.

On the betting side, it's good to follow but obviously, not to place the same amount that their Favorites are risking.

No one knows if that money do came out from his own pocket or been owned by Stake just for promotional purposes and this isnt only limiting out on Stake alone
but almost in all companies do make out such marketing which is somewhat aggressive and as long you do have the funds for such marketing then it doesnt
matter because thats how business works and whether we do like it or not then they have done on things which should be done on a business.

Right because in first place drake is so famous and eventhough companies will spend millions of dollars to him they can still earn a benefit due to the impressions and exposure to whoever back him on this. But anyways its good to see big stars giving good exposure to bitcoin since this could help bitcoin awarenes spread to the people still didn't know about its existence.

More people might've already made big bets, but it is him who is revealed to the outer world. Who does it isn't unknown. If the bets weren't revealed this could've never been a this discussion. He might've got paid for this bet apart from his winning. However end of the day everything is business, so nothing wrong in it.
I highly agree into that point that its none of our business on how they do make their marketing stuffs its whether via these celebrity kind of promotions or show off or not.

Its true that this wont be a discussion if this betslip wasnt publicize which it would really be that common that they would showcase it off since it do came from a known celebrity which it

would be just a normal act for a business owner to do so for them to boost up exposure of their service which it isnt surprising.

This is a good strategy to push crypto gambling to mainstream channels. Thanks to a famous celebrity betting with bitcoin publicly, many popular sites had to promote crypto gambling and Stake even if indirectly.

I don't know where the original idea of Drake sharing his bet on social media came from, but it must be said it was a smart one and the results are evident for anyone who check it on google.

Don't get it personally my friend but I don't understand why do people thanks to celebrities for betting with cryptocurrency publicly. Do you get some shares from that?  Grin

It's not really the share of the winning but if you're a supporter or part of the industry or community you want more people to know about this industry because we can only move forward if many people will use, adopt and invest in Cryptocurrency and promotion of its usage is a big factor, if you understand marketing you should know this.

Now I understand how things work but as I said it would be better from celebrities to promote this by using other ways such as twitter, facebook, instagram and  etc.

I am sure that there will always be people who will argue about him sharing his betting slip. I mean at the end of the day, there are people who complain about people smoking on movies, because it is bad for you and it is bad for you that is true but just because of that you can't ban drinking booze or smoking cigs from the movies at all, that's censorship.

This is why the USA has all those rules that allow people and defend their rights to keep those in the movies. Same here, sure gambling could be bad for you and that is understandable but that doesn't change the fact that he could share it and he has the right to do so, you have to keep yourself protected, the whole world can't protect you, you gotta do it yourself.

We don't know what's his real motives, but he seems to be comfortable showing his bets which means he already bet huge amounts many times but there's an investigation because his bets are considered illegal if done in Ontario, if he did this illegally that could be the last time that he will show his bets to the world or he will be careful next time and follow the legal steps.
I hope he will always be careful and continue to follow the legal steps because once deemed illegal, he could get in trouble. Yes, maybe he has gambled many times so at least he knows what to do to make it legal and there is no risk except the risk of losing his money if he loses another bet. He is paid or not, the public only knows that he won that bet and maybe in the next bet, someone will follow him and bet on the same choice as him.

It will surely be beneficial to the crypto industry. Betting Bitcoin in huge events like the super bowl will be a good strategy to promote Bitcoin. Whatever Drake's reason in sharing his bet on his social media accounts will surely affect Bitcoin positively. I hope that more bettors would pick Bitcoin when betting so more people would recognize it.

Of course this is nothing wrong, it's his bet and he has the freedom to release it to the public, whatever his intention, it's his right and this really help us because we know that stake is a good gambling site where even celebrity trusted them.
