As for all I know, Drake is a big partner of Stake and he cannot go broke by betting on stake, because he'll still get rewarded for posting stake on his Instagram page with millions of organic followers that will end up using Stake because of Drake. I'm a huge fan of Drake and I know how other fans of his feel whenever he affiliates a product on his Instagram page. Many of them will search for stake and bitcoin at same time. Moreover, they are other means that drake will recover his funds even if his bet doesn't win him money. He got millions of streams on spotify, youtube and apple music play these streaming platforms fetch him regular incomes as a rapper in the US.

There's no article that will confirm that Drake is in partnership with Stake.com in fact there's a report that

Quote
Drake’s $1.3 million Super Bowl bet that he placed using bitcoin may have been illegal, according to Canadian gambling regulation experts...Stake is not licensed to operate in the province of Ontario, according to PlayCanada.

But the same article stated
Quote
John Holden, a Canadian business professor at Oklahoma State University, told the Post that whether or not Drake broke the rules depends on where he was at the time he placed the bet.

So Drake would have to prove to the authorities that he is not betting within the Canadian jurisdiction to legally win that amount he'll have to prove that and I guess he'll gonna proof of his location at the time of his bet and he better be outside of Ontario.

As far as I know he wasn't paid by stake to share his bet but during the livestream that is run on the weekend Eddie the owner of Stake did mention about the bet placed by their user account but not by name. Those who are frequent players on the platform know who he is on there due to his (user)name being mentioned on the chat numerous times.
Even if he didn't want it known how much he has wagered on a bet like this, the news media has already made it public from this report put out by bloomberg the financial outlet's cryptocurrency section:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-64mYm02nYk
Maybe mentioning the name of a celebrity inside his own casino is not allowed? Because, people would go crazy if the owner's says that or maybe he is just being humble there and he do not want other gamblers to know that there is a celebrity playing on his casino except for the people that already know it via the public chat. I didn't check the video but is the video posted first before drake posted his bets on public?

We don't need to worry about this guy's security because he have lots of body guards and normal guards in his house. This bet alone is not the only thing or the last thing that he will flex but there are more to come.

Drake did not make his fortune from gambling he is a rapper and a performer and he commands a huge price for every concert that he's been doing, in fact, there are reports that he loses a lot from gambling, and what about those unreported we really don't know his losses and his winnings for all we know he is not only playing on Stake.com, Drake is a compulsive gambler no remorse if he losses millions, we never know if one day he becomes broke from gambling.

That's a negative thing, just because he is gambling millions doesn't mean he would go broke, what if the guy is winning? and what if the guy can afford the amount he is gambling? I know Mayweather is also gambling million of dollars, but look where he is now, he still financially free and been making money from his boxing promotions.

And if they are not able to recover from their losses through gambling, they can just simply recover it through their contracts and projects that would be easy for them.

Which will make them millions again and the cycle goes on. But AFAIK with Drake, this guy is invested with many things.

This single reason can make the rich to bet hugely because they know they can recover from another source . To them betting is like diversification of income, they see it as business to try their hands on and a means of additional source of income. If such bet disappoint, they have another income somewhere that they can rely on.
That's true and that's the situation that I've explained if ever Drake losses millions on bets.

There are many of these celebrities that are losing millions in gambling and with just a few bets, they can recover those millions of losses.

And if they are not able to recover from their losses through gambling, they can just simply recover it through their contracts and projects that would be easy for them.

Which will make them millions again and the cycle goes on. But AFAIK with Drake, this guy is invested with many things.

This just mean that those celebrities who losses millions of dollars in gambling can afford to lose this kind of number of money because they are also capable of earning this kind of amount in their career. They can recover from those losses because those people has the capacity and capability to earn back again the amount thag they lose. Same thing goes with Drake Wagered, I felt that this man losses many times, losses lot of money before he won this kind of amount and I'm happy for him because he got recover from loses he has made through this huge winning prize.
Yes. Their contracts are paid in large sums of money and they can avail to lose. He's got back up if ever he losses that much money in gambling.

But as he wins with huge bets, there's no need to be worried with it. He's totally rich AF and can bet an amount which is likely our savings and it's just a few amount to him.

there is nothing wrong with following other people, especially if that person has won many times. Maybe we can also feel victory even though our winnings are not too big. I believe Drake is a big whale who has a lot of money and can gamble as much as he wants.

We will never know if he really can analyze well because I don't think he has ever revealed the secret of his analysis to anyone else. Yes, losing $20 in one game is very painful and I have experienced it and I think people have experienced it too.
It is not the "follow other people" that matters but the act of it that we should not follow. If you want to gamble on a game just because someone else gambled on it, you are forgetting that there are people out there who could gamble 10 million dollars on a single game and could lose and not even care about it at all. Whereas there are also people who could gamble 10 bucks and that could be a big deal for them.

This is why I believe that we should not be really condoning following other people but also not support it neither. You should know your own situation better than anyone else but other people should still not tickle you the wrong way neither, just let people make their own decisions and do not put stuff that may make their decision making bad.

Clearly, Stake.com has done a very good marketing job that they have managed to convince celebrities like Drake to wager so much money on their platform. It also suggests how good security and trust they must have. However, when it comes to promotion, I think that Stake.com could not have imagined better than just the information that a famous person like Drake (who is followed by millions of people) is betting with them and even Super Bowl! It's like a winning lottery ticket. I am sure Stake.com has won a lot more than Drake.  Wink

If Drake is active in sports betting he is fully aware of Stake standing and reputation in the sports betting industry so he'll have no problem betting with Stake.com, getting popular ambassadors and marketing in the right platform they have spent a lot and will continue to spend a lot for awareness and they are so far succeeding and Drake is just one of the many celebrities that preferred Stake.com, there are many more that we don't know or are not aware of.

At the end of the day it is his money and he can do whatever he wants with it. He managed to make 2+ million dollars profit from his 1.3 million or whatever bet as well so he knew what he was doing. He got very lucky with the Odell Beckham Jr bet because he got injured and left not so soon later, and that means if Odell didn't had a touchdown right away on the first quarter, it would have been bet over for that one. Rams winning however would have paid it both I believe, and they did, in a very close fashion as well so he must have been scared out of his mind. Dude is already super rich so losing this wouldn't really be a life breaker for him, but winning is certainly a great feeling, or at least should be.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
What I really love here is the gambling site that is used by this celebrity Stake.com I must confess here that is one of the gambling site that I have some cool money while playing Dice and I much like the site with there unique features. This are some of the positive news we all like to see on the social media and not negative news that will create panic sales.
I’m also amaze that Stake is doing their great job that’s why many big people trust their site, I’m sure many gamblers will come into this site because of this good exposure. Many celebrities  are into Bitcoin now, they see big potential here and they know they can easily make money because of being famous and having such huge capital can make a big difference.
Stake.com has over the year build trust world over and that was why you see celebraties patronizing them without any course for fear of them being scam, particularly with such huge amount of money. I an account with them and I most confess that they are best among equal.
They have been the best in sports betting , Stake.com has been the rank 1 in terms of sports bet site so indeed all you said is true and this quality is the best for gamblers like us.

Those of us who don't have that much money better not follow them and if we want to bet, just use the money we are ready to lose so we don't have to bet more money.

There is nothing wrong to follow and besides why we should place the same amount? It's just that even there's no analysis involved, Drake can risk that kind of amount knowing how whale he is.

What if the analysis is great? What if the analysis does make sense? What if the analysis is really good?

Don't believe in the amount you can afford to lose. Believe me, even a $20 loss is hurtful to the majority here. Simply, just bet the amount you are comfortable with. No need to go all-in unless you understand the risks.

Do not die for Putin
Bah is just in canadian dollars  Grin Thanks to these initiatives that will make bitcoin become more mainstream and less based on gurus and people who got in really early. The   publicity is well worth the money - well as long as it is not mine  Grin Now, jokes apart, I think the guy made a clear point about his trust in bitcoin and I seriously hope more mainstream influencers make displays of bitcoin being used and add value to the ecosystem.

There is no statement that it is because of stake's promotion. Most people believe that stake has nothing to do with this free promotion from Drake. Maybe, Drake was just so happy to win that amount and there's no need for the stake to pay for this free promotion. Many people are just basically posting on their social media channel what they feel. And this time, Drake got lucky with his huge bets and he wanted to share it with his followers. But anyway, we can never know the ultimate truth behind the posting (if in case, stake has influence on this post).

Want top-notch marketing for your project, Hire me
This story is hard to believe despite the rapper in the subject have the money to wager such a huge amount of money but I will only believe the story if Drake comes out and make the announcement by himself because this could be a promotion. No hard feelings but just saying my thought.
However, if this story is true then it means Drake was a long term investor of Bitcoin
Drake had been in crypto news for years , and i believe either he admit it or not? still he is a Crypto supporter as he also gambled in crypto gambling site in which proves his being active in crypto related activities.
so  no matter what he decided to use as currency it does not matter at all and besides this is crypto gambling site then why make this an issue at all from others.

what is Important here is Drake Won from His SuperBowl bets and Congratulations to His success .
To be honest, I never know Drake is in crypto news for years until now that the institutional investor hop into the market, and gambling is not something new when we talk about celebrities because most of them are somehow into it.
Meanwhile, I don't have any intention of making a big deal about the news but I want to know if it is true due to misinformation thats happening within the crypto ecosystem.

If this is true, then its must be the best bet for Drake.

"Money makes money" and this statement holds true in this case. We, ordinary persons, cannot take such bets because we do not have that much amount of money. Only the rich can bet with big money and win big.
That's what makes a lot of people tempted to give it a try but unfortunately, they don't measure up to their abilities and in fact many of them spend more money. They are not aware that it presents a greater risk because no one knows what happens after they bet. Some of them won and some of them lost.

Those of us who don't have that much money better not follow them and if we want to bet, just use the money we are ready to lose so we don't have to bet more money.
