This sounds interesting you know. One of the major things customers look at in a business is hiw they are being treated and their complaint taken serious and given utmost attention. These build a good reputation for such casino and if they are up to standard, I think they would have a huge traffic for their site because these days nobody wants to waste his or her time with any casino that would stress them too much not to talk of delaying their withdrawal after some wins.
Of course, all casinos want to have a good reputation in order to get traffic to their site and many people play to become active gamblers there, but sometimes there are also most casinos that are well-known for making small mistakes by ignoring their customer complaints, of course that will damage reputation too, that's why is casino reputation important, to be honest I never had any problems while playing at duelbits  Wink
It's such a hard thing to build that reputation for every casino, it takes years to build it and it takes one mistake to ruin it. This is why I would never consider having a casino, even if I had millions of dollars to start a business, casino would be the last of them.

The main reason is the fact that if I make one mistake, one slight small mistake, then people would find it and they would talk about it all day everyday until I am gone, and my reputation I worked to build for years would be gone in a day. That type of risk doesn't worth the profit to be fair and I rather not to do it. Duelbits has been awesome so far, which shows how much serious they are taking this job.
yes, that's why for a big casino, maintaining a reputation is important, therefore every accusation received by a casino must be properly responded to in order to find the truth in maintaining the reputation that has been built, sometimes many sites ignore this and even let accusations attack their sites, so that's why people's trust will decrease if they don't respond, BTW I've never seen a case of duelbits either

Yeah, and cryptocurrency exchanges arent supposed to be used as bank also, but we all know how people care about that.

I dont intend to keep BTC on a gambling platform for ages. But tell me, how often you see people people deposit>gamble>withdraw their funds? Usually they make a deposit and keep it on a platform until they win enough or lose. I think a lot just keep their funds there until they win the amount they have set as a goal. I am saying this because someone could have deposited a hundred two weeks ago, and if he would have withdrawn, he could have 105 dollars right now instead of a 100.

You have a point if the scenario you are only assuming is if crypto will pump but how about when crypto dump while you deposit your coin on casino to 10% or more? Is having a stable balance is worst than losing part of it while it’s just sitting on your casino balance?

Duelbits value customer balance so that everyone can play without worrying about bear market. If you are concerned on the price increase of your token then you should not depositing it on casino and just wait for it to become stable before you play or you can just split your bank roll and just deposit half of it on the casino.

The beauty of this kind of system was you can choose different token/coin when you withdraw based on the current market price.

I don't know when I last played on duel bits but it's been ages since then. Is all of the deposited crypto there will be automatically be valued in USD? So it means that if I deposited worth $100 of crypto, I can withdraw worth $100 of the crypto I deposited anytime? Let's say I deposited .01 btc @$100 value and btc dumps up to .008 btc @$100 value, duelbits will give me .008 in return since you are saying that the value of it is stable? So I guess that you are only protected from value volatility if your money is inside duelbits.

Your deposit is a stable amount. If you deposit a hundred, it is always a hundred. Any deposit automatically turns into stable altcoin. Personally, I dont like that system. Because you always have to either follow exchange rates, or remember to withdraw funds. If a gambler has deposited 1 BTC 5 years ago, today he would get only a thousand, instead of 17k.

Gambling platform is not intended to be used as a bank to keep your cryptocurrency.  So I do not think this kind of feature of Duelbits is an issue.  As a matter of fact I find this feature ok since I don't have to worry about the price fluctuation.  Most of the time you deposit, play,  and withdraw if you win within the day.  Don't tell me you intend to keep your BTC in gambling platform for 5 years?  That would be insane, IMO.

I agree, I think a lot of players would like that and maybe you will bring in some new players also as some only play with a specific coin. Duelbits is doing a lot of things right, but we can always give suggestion on how to get even better lol. Not saying that need to have 50 options like some other sites but adding some popular ones migth be a good move.
They can add some new coins if they find it suitable as they to have go through lot of things before making this decision but if the gamblers demand it they can give it a shot. But what are the choice of coins which you will like to see as addition to the duelbits for deposit option? Some stable coins or meme coins? So see what the team has in mind.

All of that will be their choice which one is more comfortable to deposit into the casino whether it's tokens, stable coins or bitcoin. I think they have their own perspective, I myself really like random how to deposit to the casino, sometimes BTC, USDT and other crypto.
Indeed, tokens have a worse risk of falling than bitcoin, but I don't care because what I do is withdraw and never keep the win long so it won't affect a significant decrease.
As another option, using crypto is an option that is widely used because of the low fees and fast transactions.
What's the coin you've used to deposit?
It's better if the casino convet whatever you deposit to a stable  coin..

Even though the casino has many choices in their payment system, I will still choose a coin that is stable in price, not a coin that is hype and the price is high but in a few months it can drop so deeply that the value of our assets decreases in USD. During the bull market some casinos included ape coin as payment and the hype was over and the price of this coin dropped so much that gamblers who kept their winnings in this coin have lost all their profits, so I believe this is a lesson learned, players will prefer coins which are more stable in price and stablecoins can being an option unfortunately in duelbits is only available on the ETH network.
everything returns to the choice of gamblers, so far I have used BTC to play gambling instead of other crypto tokens, it is true that you said the value of the token if it falls will be worse than the price of bitcoin, therefore it is useless if you get profits in gambling but the value drops, good advice it's also good to use USD but on other networks it will be better with cheaper transaction fees than using the ETH network

There's no need to be upset

Risk is always there.
I think adding more coin can potentially grow the players of a casino, however, it is not guaranteed. Maybe they will add it if there are bunch of users that request for the particular coin to be added as one of their payment method. Their team should study about it first though, they need to know if it'll be worth it.

good point
this is the tradeoff
adding users while managing risk and always avoid risk of ruin for the business
in the case of adding new coins there's the risk of network instabilities and other kinds of attacks

adding small altcoins is probably not needed but I agree that big ones with traction like TRX could be a good idea.

Duelbits convert your deposit into USD value once your deposited is credited to your account so basically stable coins is not really needed anymore since you wont be affected with the market condition as the value of your money remain the same in USD no matter what is happened in the market. In such case where players lose their profit due to price drop, it is basically their own fault for keeping the money. I do believe crypto gamblers aware about such condition that may happen anytime anywhere without any prior sign.
well, that's one of the advantages of Duelbits, it doesn't depend on the market price.
so that gamblers are very comfortable gambling at Duelbits not to be afraid if the crypto used goes down in price because every deposit to Duelbits will be estimated in USD.
so you don't need stable coins to gamble on Duelbits, just use BTC, ETH or other coins that are worth betting on and provided by Duelbits.

I think there’s a split opinion you can get on this subject matter. Duelbits automatically converts any coin to USD once you deposit it while you can convert it back to the supported coin once you withdraw it. It means that deposit coin doesn’t matter anymore once it’s on the casino because it’s price will be in stablecoins. Some die hard fan of coin like Bitcoin maxi will obviously doesn’t like this since they will missed the chance to gain more when the price of Bitcoin pumps while there balance is on Duelbits.

On the other hand, Some user will find multiple currency a blessing since they can instantly mixed there token to different token once they deposit and withdraw it on the casino. The automatic convert feature of Duelbits is very good on bear market while in disadvantage during bull market.

Also this is not even that important during a bear market, and this is because during this part of the cycle of bitcoin there is a movement towards more conservative investments, like bitcoin and ethereum, coins which are accepted by the vast majority of casinos already.

And since there are not as many transactions then the fees are cheaper and it allows people to gamble with bitcoin and ethereum once again, so there is no need for them to convert their money to other altcoins as a first step before making a deposit in the wallet of their favorite casino, then it is not a priority to add more altcoins as a form of payment and instead casinos can concentrate on other areas which are more important at the moment.
That's true, I have been keeping my money basically in three coins so far, bitcoin+ethereum+bnb which is the big trio in everyone's minds, and even if some people may disagree then you could just show the cmc list of them and it's obvious that these are the three that everyone uses.

So, if you have these three as a casino during the bear market, you will cover everyone because no matter what you invest into, you would have some of these as well, and that's what matters. Doesn't matter if people have some small cap meme coin or whatever, if they have a bit from any of these three, they can use this casino anyway they wish to and would work perfectly.
Correct, besides while casinos want to cater to their clients and add as many coins as they possibly can, at the same time they need to be careful, as during this part of the cycle many coins will disappear, and while it is unlikely casinos will keep those coins for long to the point they could lose a lot of money, at the same time their resources are still limited.

So they could spend a lot of time adding several coins only for them to disappear in a matter of months, and in that case they might as well just appoint the developers behind the site to do something more productive with their time than to add yet another meme coin which will not last for long.

Indeed, right, why bother to add additional coin that can disappear after some years? If the casino intends to ride with the hype of the coin, it can backfire to the business.

If what you have mentioned happened, it's not just the casino who will suffer, but also the gamblers
who also rides and uses that coin to play. Either the value will experienced huge dump or the developers
will runaway and let the coin/project die naturally.
