Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
Gambling is so easy to get into while dire hard to quit, it doesn't take a lot of determination to start but it demands a lot of determination and discipline to quit. And more harder to quit when you start making good sum of money out of it. Gamblers feel more entangled to gambling when they make large amount of money from it, with the illusion  that if they could make such life changing sum then it's possible they would make much more.  For my kind of gambler, with an urgency I'll quit.
In the end it comes back to self-control and of course emotional emphasis.
Many things actually look easy but in the end it is very difficult to do in gambling.
self-control, emotional control and financial management that really have to be enforced clearly will present a challenge that is even difficult to anticipate.
Everyone can gamble, but not everyone can get out of gambling, so in some cases or some countries, gambling is still prohibited because this is indeed more of a problem than the convenience you get.
But even so, it's still ongoing and I'm also still in this because it's like something is missing if there's no gambling.

With the conclusion that gambling can be stopped or not it depends on whether we can control ourselves completely, both in managing the finances, do not have excessive expectations of something that is uncertain and most important is to control ourselves from greed, so the key when you really want to stop Self in gambling or being able to knock gambling by gambling responsibly is how you can control yourself well.
In my opinion, gambling can be stopped, but it is not easy and requires many steps to really stop gambling because someone who has started gambling will always have the desire to make bets after bets.
If you just limit yourself so that you are not too active in gambling, you can still do it very easily, but stopping is not as easy as limiting it.
There have been many people who have provided feedback on cases like this and all have different responses.

I speak like this because from my own personal experience when I want to quit and also have limits.

I think gambling is a deadly addiction and many people are selling their wealth because of this addiction. Some people are trying to make money by gambling.  I think if someone tries to make money by gambling, they won't last long. Because a gambler can never quit gambling.  Even if he owns a lot of money at one time, he may lose all his money by gambling and become completely destitute.
Not only gambling addiction is deadly but all types of addiction, addiction to drugs, alcohol or other things that are considered bad and can be deadly. We say gambling is bad it can be addictive but other activities are bad too if done in excess.
In my opinion, it really depends on the maturity of each gambler, although many gamblers find it difficult to stop before their funds run out, many more can stop while their funds are still there or when they are in a winning position, so they will only play again after a break because I believe they are still many gamblers have the right mindset about playing and he only plays according to the limits he sets, not only the amount of money used but also how long he will play so that it stops right when the time or targeted funds have reached it.

You cannot be an addicted gambler and still finds it so easy to quit, all we could do is to begin to introduce a gradual withdrawal process for the addiction till this is finally achieved, though it may not comes as easy as expected but we need to give it all it takes to have a positive outcome from gambling, maturity aspect of it also contribute somewhat to an extent together with how disciplined we are whenever we are gambling.

if we established a target amount of winnings at which point we would be willing to stop gambling and be pleased with our winnings.

Actually this is dangerous imho to establish a target and quit after achieving it. It pushes to continue gambling, to load more and more money into casino. I remember when I have turned 25 cents into 9 bucks with something in Crash game. I though that 10 bucks will be a nice amount to stop and quit. Ended with loosing everything Cheesy But instead I could have stopped with 9 bucks and continue tomorrow. Establishing target is like switching greed meter to maximum. Every one will try to reach round or nice number. And that is a difference between gambling for fun or being addictive.

Common in a sense that you remember that mistake and you are regretting not to quit while you still in the winning side, I think if not all many do experience this kind of "what if I quit moment" the worse part is when you feel that you can easily recover or you can duplicate that momentum just avoid making the same mistake.

Adding more funds to your bankroll and the outcome remains the same, losing it all over again and just repeating the outcome from time to time.

That's right, when someone who's got a huge winning and he wants to maintain that. The same routine again by tomorrow that he'll start to gamble, place some bets and put an amount on the bankroll on how much he's willing to spend.

And then, not the same result, losing, losing bets and money and that's the start of it that someone might lose everything that he's gained.
Repeating the same with expectation as the past is a major reason that ends in massive loss. Gambling is kinda fun with certain expense. We should have the ability to bear it. If not we should understand the limits and spend. We don't follow this, because of the hope and the dream of turning small money into big. When it comes to quit gambling, it is simple and easy thing if your mind is ready for it.
Whether your mind is ready for it to quit, the matter is your pocket and it's connected still with your mind. And we know where it is going when we've got something to gamble with and that sticks to our minds that we still have something to use for.

It happened to me many times though it's not a huge winning. The thought that you can replicate those previous wins can really motivate a gambler to play again. But in reality the chances are slim especially if it's a huge amount. Thus it's really best to already stop once you experience winning huge. Just quit and divert your attention on how to use the winning money to earn a passive income and not thinking to return back playing again.

Nevertheless, self control is the key to refrain ourselves from playing. It might hard but if you are determine to stop since you already win a huge amount, then nothing is impossible. It just depends on how the gambler deal with it.
Our minds play tricks and that's why when we're winning either huge or small. There's this feeling and thought that it's okay to continue because we still have the money.

And the confidence of winning adds to that state of mind because we've just won. There will always be the better days and the worst days and despite that we're all aware of it, we're still pushing for it because we 'might' be lucky.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
Quitting gambling is easy when one gambles only for fun, but it becomes difficult when one becomes deeply addicted to gambling. and a gambling addict cannot completely quit gambling even after thousands of attempts. because it takes shape as if it is mixed with his blood. But since it is possible for a man to do anything, if one tries hard from the heart it may be possible quit gambling. but very few people are able to do it.
One simply cannot do it without help if they are already addicted. If leaving addictions were so easy for anyone that wants to leave them, I'm sure that a lot of people in the world would get out of the addictions that they know are curses for them and their families but they are unable to leave them now since they are already too deep in it, so one might only be able to get out of addiction if they get a helping hand that will drag them out of the ocean of addiction.

When it's about gambling if you are addicted to it and have been addicted for a long time, you might realize that it's harmful to your financial health and to your family's future but if you can't stop gambling, you might have someone close to you that you can ask for assistance, and they will find something else to get you engaged with so that you can stop gambling that much and spend your time on something else that doesn't cost you anything or maybe not that much.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
It is difficult to answer this question with certainty, every gambling addict has their own character in gambling. For normal gamblers who can control themselves, they will probably stop for a while from gambling activities after making big money from gambling places. The reality is that there are lots of gamblers around where I live who find it difficult to stop even though they lose very often, while those who win will be even more active in gambling in the hope of continuing to win and win again. The habit can still be controlled, whereas if you become an addict you need to be rehabilitated to get rid of gambling addiction.
Gambling sites have now started to adopt such tactics that a gambler falls into deep addiction very quickly. So now it becomes almost impossible for a gambler to quit gambling after winning a large amount. and gambling has become a habit for many and many are using it as a profession. Gambling is now considered as a legitimate game in the minds of people, which is why it is now very difficult and almost impossible to avoid gambling.
I think gambling is a deadly addiction and many people are selling their wealth because of this addiction. Yes I agree with you I don't think any person will ever succeed if he wants to earn money through gambling regularly and spend his daily expenses through gambling money. there are many cases where a rich person has lost everything due to gambling addiction and it has become difficult for him to even earn his daily food. so now gambling as a pleasure also becomes a danger signal because once a person starts gambling it becomes very difficult for him to overcome gambling addiction and quit gambling. But gambling sites are now promoting themselves in such a way that it is becoming difficult to look away from gambling

They lose everything they have because they gamble to much without even thinking that they already exceed to supposed to be limit they set nor the budget plan they want to gamble.

Sometimes the climax they get while gambling is the one push them on another level then greediness came since they want to hit big and want to take home a lot of money. There's nothing wrong with this thinking but they should at least see if its still healthy for them to chase up winnings since if they are continue losing then there's nothing good will happen to them if they continue to gamble.

The issue is that many addicts or even former addicts do not have a clear idea of what it entails to overcome their addictions, they think that as soon as they decide that is something they want to do then they will be able to leave it immediately, however overcoming any kind of addiction is a daily struggle and they only need to lose once in order to go back to their old habits, with this in mind it is way easier to prevent ourselves from becoming addicted than to overcome an addiction which has been established already, so at the first sign that things are starting to get out of control then people should stop gambling immediately.

Exactly, and the same as how the doctors always remind us, it's better to prevent than curing your sickness. There's relevance in
the sense that it's better not to engage that much to avoid addiction.

It's your control over yourself that matters. The more you can control, the better chance that you won't be undergo that deep. It's easier
to quit if you are still in control, as you can simply find other alternatives to be busy and not to keep playing back.

For those who have a gambling addiction, choosing when to stop would be the hardest thing because they are constantly hoping to increase their bankroll. Small-time gamblers' main objectives are to win and make a good profit, therefore if they were to win a prize that would fundamentally alter their lives, they might decide to stop gambling. Gambling addiction will undoubtedly make it difficult for many gamblers to stop because, even if they win a sizable sum of money, they will continue to think they could earn more and will have a stronger drive to bet. It would be preferable, in my opinion, if we established a target amount of winnings at which point we would be willing to stop gambling and be pleased with our winnings. It takes courage and self-discipline for a person to totally quit on gambling and if we know how to set limits right from the beginning, quitting will never be a big challenge for us.

Yes mate Virasisog, you said the right thing about gambling, a gambler, addicted or not addicted you must come bact to gamble another after winning big money or small money from gambling.
If a gambler wins from gambling the gambler will inventualy stick another bet because the gambler has the mind that he might win bigger this time.

Whether it is gambling addiction or another behavior, addiction can have a strong hold on a person's life. There is often a great deal of effort, determination needed to break free of the cycle of addiction. Many people become accustomed to the thrill and excitement of gambling, and this makes it even more difficult to stop.

People may experience what is commonly known as a "winning phase," in which they initially succeed and even meet their financial goals. However, maintaining those winnings over the long term can be difficult, which may lead to further gambling in an attempt to replicate them.
That's right, an addiction to anything can be a curse for a human being because no matter how hard they try, they can't stop themselves from it and they keep doing it until the stage where they have already lost everything and then they realize that they've been doing the wrong thing, but when someone tries to talk them out of the situation, they don't listen to them and tell them that they don't need any help.

When it comes to gambling, we all know that it's a game of luck, and everyone will surely get a winning streak at times, but that doesn't mean that it is something that can be sustained for the long term and you will eventually lose if you keep gambling after that.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
Gamblers are born greedy, the reason why most gamblers always chase for bigger winnings no matter how often they lose in their past bets. That’s why it’s a hard decision to leave gambling when you have fulfilled that dream, winning a life changing amount. Because the more you see yourself winning in gambling, the more you are eager to continue to bet and take advantage of your luck while it is there. This is based on real life experience. Though I had not won such a huge amount, but seeing myself constantly winning from my bets makes me decide to increase my urge in gambling, regardless if I end up losing them all.
It might be an actual pattern that triggers addiction itself in humans in gambling, things that are burned in humans if he already believes in something, even if it's wrong he will continue to adore him and chase him, as well as in gambling, when someone has found a profit or He has a victory that is considered great according to someone, he will continue to look for it there and want more than the previous victory.

This has a point.

Some people have too much confidence on themselves to the point they disregard those healthy and concern criticisms that the people around them are giving. They view it as meddling on their business because they want to do what they perceive they have to do. Not knowing that there are consequences and that they might have a dependency on their gambling habits because they're doing it the wrong way such as going overboard the expenses and time given to gambling. Gambling is indeed very hard to remove from your system the moment you already have it in you. You will crave for it and you will try to satisfy your urges until you can no longer not give in. Hopefully though, people will realize this sooner before falling into the pit.
