I've seen case scenario where people make good profits and never visit gambling a again and already invested in other businesses and today are still doing well.
Most times people want the easy way to make money and gambling seems to be that way that's why most persons wouldn't mind to lavish a huge profit with hopes or getting a bigger one and that's one thing that also drags people to addiction.
I personally can quit gambling  after a huge winning bjt it all depends on the amount won because money worn are sweeter than money earned and that's one thing  that will  keep dragging people to gamble.
It is easy to quit gambling after winning huge but there is no guarantee that you will be able to quit gambling addiction. It is called addiction and that is why many gamblers fail to leave casinos even after winning big. We may educate gamblers who suffer from gambling addiction, anyways mental health is not going to be ok with a gambling mindset, IMO.

Well, there are some gamblers who truly had the courage to leave gambling after achieving what they wanted but its percentage is undeniably low because not everybody had the same courage and strength to leave the world of gambling and besides, it's certainly not that easy to do because before we can come up to that situation, we have already accustomed ourselves to gamble and that makes it difficult to end.

Kind of gamblers who have strong control as they can manage to quit and change the direction of their life after luckily winning huge amount of money out from gambling, but I agree that not many can do that, as the percentage of gambling addicted person are far higher than those who can control, most of those gamblers who engage deeply with gambling manage to win at one point with huge amount.

But due to addiction, they just go back and lose this money back and again they'll going to chase for it and losing will be more usual than quitting with some decent amount of profits.

Whether it is gambling addiction or another behavior, addiction can have a strong hold on a person's life. There is often a great deal of effort, determination needed to break free of the cycle of addiction. Many people become accustomed to the thrill and excitement of gambling, and this makes it even more difficult to stop.

People may experience what is commonly known as a "winning phase," in which they initially succeed and even meet their financial goals. However, maintaining those winnings over the long term can be difficult, which may lead to further gambling in an attempt to replicate them.

If there were no addicts, then we wont really be seeing this industry would really be bloating out like crazy or simply that they are really that generating so much revenue on year to year basis on which means that there are lots of gamblers who are really that serious on spending up their money on gambling and this had been continuing year by year. Its quite evident that there's really an extreme demand for gambling which it is really that showing about the numbers of casinos which do launches every now and then which is something that really that normal for us to day that there's really a progress and this one would continue all over the years.

Quitting gambling on the time that you are already that get addicted into it is really that hard. It might that sound simple to say into other people or to those who had been affected but
honestly its not something that could really be that easily quit until you would really be losing up everything.
Is the solution to gambling addiction simply about self-control? While maintaining control over one's emotions and actions is undoubtedly essential, it is not the panacea for this multifaceted issue.

The proliferation of the gambling indutry attests to its financial success, which in turn signifeis the presence of a considerable gambling populace. However, does this justify its existence, or does it merely expose our societal vulnerabilities? Do we not, as a society, bear a collective responsibility towards the welfare of its individuals?

One cannot ignore the biochemical factors that contribute to addiction. When dopamine floods our brain during a win, it etches that euphoria into our memories, creating an irresistible urge to recreate the experience. To simply say "stop gambling whenever you want" is to ignore these deeply ingrained neurological responses
Really that impossible that you wouldn't really be having those responses on the time that you would be having some huge wins on which you would really be hearing up those voices on your head or those thoughts that you should need to stop for you to secure your profits on which you would really be thinking that you have already break even with your losses.

The issue on here is that most people doesnt really mind or simply ignore those things on which they've been aware but they did tolerate their thinking about on winning more and this is where
addiction would be molded up because of those wrong perceptions and targets towards it. We know that gambling is for fun but since there's a chance for you to win up some good sums of money
or hitting jackpots then these are the things on what pushes you to play even more or the worst you would be ignoring about those risks involved.

Yes, I've also heard someone's story, he became a businessman after he won big from gambling that's why those who succeed are like 1% of 1000% of players, not many get the luck of big wins it seems, after all most people every time they win big they keep on playing gambling until they get even more, like a greedy person so that instead of getting profit he spends his winnings and his money until he becomes an addict.

I also thought like you can stop at any time if we win big money, this depends on how our mindset is in gambling, if we continue to follow lust then we will never be satisfied and stop, learning to be satisfied with the results obtained is important to be able to control ourselves .

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?

I should say first that I’ve never bet a lot of money on anything really. I could be wrong but I think $175 is probably the largest bet I’ve ever made with a casino. For me it would be easy to stop, but not because I won life changing money. I gamble for the fun, so making money doesn’t have a lot to do with my decision. I’d be most likely to not gamble when it stopped being fun.

At first I didn't think that someone who had gotten a big win at gambling would be able to stop doing it, because I know there are many cases where someone who has gotten a lot of wins will get even more addicted to gambling, and that can happen. There is no denying that everyone is greedy when it comes to money and always wants something more than before. But now I know from you, that it turns out that there are people who can stop when they get a big win, moving that money for long-term business is indeed a very good choice, because if he decides to bet again in the hope of getting a big win like before it's uncertain. he can get it back. Because yes it's gambling and it's a matter of luck, everyone has a lucky limit. I mean luck will not always come to him.

Easy to quit for a while, easy to stop betting frequently or limit hours spent on gambling.

Very hard to stop completely.

Most gamblers find it easy to limit their activity and go from daily gambling to doing it on weekends. Staying away from betting for a month or two is usually hard. I'd probably be able to limit myself to doing it once a month, but I'll probably never stop because it's a social activity for me. I'd have to change all my friends and stop going out Cheesy

That is another good point I haven't focused on yet, taking a break from gambling for a few weeks is no problem for me. If I don't visit a casino for some time it's not like I start sweating and dreaming of gambling. Probably my brain already knows that it's only a limited period where I stop gambling and that I eventually come back. I am not sure if I could really stop gambling forever. It's just too much fun and I would rather never smoke in my life again than to never gamble again. In my opinion it wouldn't even be necessary to stop forever after becoming rich through gambling. Already changing our habits can help to protect us from losing our life changing winnings again. When it comes to gambling it's not so important for me to place large bets. I would rather place 100 times 1 USD bets than only place 2 times a 50 USD bets. That's why I would probably keep gambling after becoming rich, just reduce my overall bankroll to limit my potential losses and winnings. I am not looking for a large win anymore and therefore don't need to risk a lot of money.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I thought it didn't matter, is it because I don't gamble often enough so I don't feel heavy? At least, gambling is not my routine activity, but rather one of my free time activities. So, it doesn't really bother me. And it doesn't make me an addict. And because of this too, I have never experienced high wins or lots of losses. Maybe because they are not too excited or sometimes they are just playing around.
However, I'm sure everyone's condition is different. And maybe it will be very different from other people. This condition will also not be the same for someone who is addicted to gambling or someone who is used to gambling, making gambling one of the side jobs or other important things. It may not be easy for them to quit no matter what.

To be honest, it's not easy for me to quit gambling. But I gamble only for fun. So I gamble for some adrenaline and some dopamine. I am sure that one day I will definitely not lose control if I win a lot of money while gambling. Because I know why I gamble. If a person manages to control himself, it is okay for him to go back to gambling, even if he wins or loses money from gambling. I don't think it's about luck. I think it's a matter of willpower. We cannot control our luck. But we can control our willpower.
Gambling is a deadly addiction, but it is not for everyone. Gambling is a deadly addiction for those who cannot control themselves while gambling. There are some people.  People who gamble often lose control of their money.I think it's fine if you gamble in your free time. But if you choose gambling as a way of income, it can be a big disadvantage for you.
My question is almost every body in the gambling world today knows this particular fact about this habit and its high rate of getting addicted to it but many people still fall victims to this why?.

Gambling is a very tricky act that leads people to doing crazy thing but thats only if you see as a means of always doubling your money but the hard fact  is that no gambler ever goes to gamble expecting to lose.
For many reasons there are still too many who are victims of gambling addiction and what is more certain is the increasing number of gamblers or many novice gamblers who enter the world of gambling with the wrong thought of gambling as a place to multiply and end up addicted.
Actually it's not that complicated but people feel this problem is too complicated.
In fact, if we can always control ourselves to control our emotions to avoid increasing the number of bets and chasing defeats, we will definitely avoid gambling addiction.
If they already have strong self-control, it is very easy to stop gambling whenever they want.
If there were no addicts, then we wont really be seeing this industry would really be bloating out like crazy or simply that they are really that generating so much revenue on year to year basis on which means that there are lots of gamblers who are really that serious on spending up their money on gambling and this had been continuing year by year. There are several Stake users I personally know, these guys have won over $100k but lost profit back in a month. Something doesn't let them to win anymore after one point, they destroy their profit ratio with useless gambling strategies that are used for beating the house edge.

I agree, we must keep our gambling activities in moderation and we must always reflect on our gambling activity and have a personal check of our status to see if there is something different or have changed.  Finding signs of addiction early can prevent a person from being totally addicted to the gambling platfrom because the person can administer counter action to prevent himself from being addicted to gambling.
I also agree, there are methods to keep yourself away from gambling but not all users have the same patience level to avoid gambling, unfortunately. Gambling can lead to addiction and not everyone has the same mental health to beat this feeling of urge to make bets for dopamine.

For a person who is on the sideline watching the situation, it seems that it is simple and not complicated, but the truth, for a gambler that is hooked on the game is really complicated.  This is like a situation of a viewer which has a top view of a maze and the player who is inside the maze.

Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
I don't know why but it seem like all the thread and topics in the gambling board is just a repetition of always said and discussed issues, most users just tend to repeat same topic over and over again. Well everyone knows by now that to stop gambling its not easy especially if you are addicted to it but the issue here is that most addicted person never actually know they are addicted and doesn't realize the urgency to stop this act of their or should I say problem.

I agree, topic like these keep on repeating, the same way the issue with gambling addiction never stopped increasing just like history that keeps repeating itself.  Aside from that gambling topics like this often get locked so people who are having some questions and issues that they wanted the opinion or insight of others tend to create a topic just to talk what they have in mind.

Anyway, how easy or how hard a person to quit gambling is depending on their level of being hooked on gambling.  If a person is addicted, then it will be hard for a person to quit gambling since the uncontrolled urge is already affected the gambler.  While a person who have full control of himself can easily quit.
I also actually agree that if you see the title of the topic people will think that the topic has something in common with some of the previous topics. But actually if we comment on the contents of the OP properly, the contents are not always the same and with different intents and purposes only involve a few words that are the same as some of the previous topics.

and if a gambler is already addicted to acute gambling, he doesn't really care about him getting a big win or big loss, because he will continue to gamble as long as there is still capital to play, and the big wins he gets will slowly run out even more than his wins.

I find gambling to be enjoyable, but if it becomes something you cannot do without engaging in, there is a problem. Addiction is a risky condition that has destroyed the lives of many people. If you see where some people are placing bets, you will be scared because they want to get greedy because of greed and they keep losing games. Some people in my region are seen gambling has youth empowerment and they keep placing bets until they sell everything they own and keep believing that they will win. I believe that those who are addicted will find it impossible to stop, whereas I play for fun and can stop whenever I want.

I know a big win cannot make me back off from gambling, and as such, it underscores the variety of incentives for gambling, just as you mentioned.

But, @slapper (boss), I don't seem to get your point of view on this matter. Would you rather shun gambling if, peradventure, you make a win of $200k, or, let me just say, if a casino offered to pay you off from gambling with the sum of $500k and ask you to stop gambling in your entire life time (you can call it an imaginary miracle of me), would you be able to ignore gambling?
I think it is almost impossible especially for those who enjoy gambling. No matter how much money you pay a gambler cannot get rid of gambling for the rest of his life. Although 100K or 500K is a big deal for a normal gambler but if he is a regular gambler then he must indulge in gambling . Money will never stop him. In this case I would say that it is not an easy task. Even a responsible gambler can find it very difficult to come back from gambling because a gambler always enjoy gambling not only the money.

It is not always the truth though,I personally would not stop at 100k but I would definitely stop at 500k and would invest that money in real estate to buy about 2-3 houses where I live now and get a net profit from rent at about 2k without doing anything.Of course I would still gamble from time to time but with really low amounts and would never go deep down and sell these houses I bought with that money, something many other gamblers have done in the past,so it all depends on how you look and perceive the situations.
