Yes ridiculous isn't it. That's why I refuse to buy anything with paypal and I never use Ebay.
Paypal is so expensive and customer unfriendly it always makes me wonder how they build up such a big userbase from such a bad experience.

Personally I haven't used with paypal yet but it seems like so chargeable for the transactions. I have noticed the many complaints and scam attempts on the name of paypal. For these kind of things We can use the bitcoins instead of paypal for the money transfers beyond the border transaction.
Paypal just matching for online buying or shopping and it's not matching for trying a business like sending and receiving money because too a lot of gap in their rules and restricted their users.

Paypal is a payment processor so most of the sellers and online shoppers are depending on paypal because it is one of the best payment processor for the past years. But as of now maybe they are not improving their system and instead they are keep on charging high fees and they don't make some discounts they always just want profit.

I already experience that thing that fee for transaction is high. unlike bitcoin that you are paying a small amount for every transaction..
If ebay someday will accept bitcoin i hope this fee from paypal will ignore costumer will convert to use bitcoins to buy in ebay. because of low fee..

Paypal's fee is really rediculous and very high and the most scary is their fixed fee system which deduct almost all amount if you have to send 2-3$ over account in different countries.

If you buy something on ebay trough paypal or sell something on ebay trough paypal then first the fees go trough ebay and then again trough paypal you get billed twice for using their services.
That's why we need a fee-less payment method for example bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the solution for the high charging fees of those payment processors and as well as those online shopping websites too. And if you are going to use bitcoins at its best then for sure you are going to save a lot of money because of it. And many paypal users are already shifting to bitcoin already because of its convenience.

You say this because you got now bitcoin as option to make transactions and without have to pay those, before bitcoin paypal were the main legit way to buy and sell anything online. And they are regulated, i never bought ebay because the ship fee its huge, paypal i were a costumer of them before bitcoin.

Don't even touch paypal unless you're ok with tons of limitations and your funds held for several weeks. If you can get past that, and you are fine with all of the fees then go right ahead. Why use paypal if you have bitcoin?

Yeah since bitcoin is there we must use bitcoin as it is more convenient, safe and fast at all. Unlike paypal who is really charging very high fees and as well as hidden fees. It is better if we are going to boycott the use of paypal if we can fully use bitcoin for transferring and accepting payments from our clients and customers.

The Paypal charges higher fees maybe because the banks charge it higher fee. When it uses bitcoin, the fee will be lower.

Now you feel the pain that UK sellers feel when they see what they earn after VAT.

Yeah or dutch people or any other tax paying country.... Anyways yeah paypal + ebay is a killer combo on the fees, especially ebay.
Paypal is the one payment method I never liked, just feels like a legal scam imo.

The question here is the huge fees they charge to their costumers, i do remember exchange some paypal for paypal with a brazilian person, he got from 1.40 dollars something like 0,90dollars, do you think its a fair fee? Even knowing that paypal adjust their rules as the country they present its insane to use paypal at some countries.

Paypal indeed has ridiculous fees but so has its brother ebay..  They stack up alot together and that sucks cause you miss alot of money over the time.
That's why it will be better to pay with bitcoin when available. Atleast like that you remove paypals fees.

Well that is why their management is earning millions of bucks on their sales. Because of their ridiculous fees that are charging to their customers.

And I know that they are seeing that it is going to be threat to their service if bitcoin is going to be used by most of their customers.

Especially to paypal it is going to make their sales fall down.

This is how the businesses work and this is also why I hate paypal. They force you to pay with paypal in alot of places cause its the only payment method but paypal payment fees are so ridiculous it really stacks up after a while so much lost money.
I dont hate paypal, i just left them for a long time, but sometimes i dont use  something because they accept only fiat, and those who accepts bitcoin will charge an extra.

Whatever you say, it will not have an impact that is good for your life if you don't use or benefit from bitcoin or paypal with either. advantages and disadvantages of something it's definitely there, so we just chose whichever is more appropriate for our use and don't ever think of something that we haven't done

Sell an item on ebay for $100, actually receive $86

http://www.newlifeauctions.com/calc.html

Remind me why there's no good bitcoin auction websites since Bitmit again?

This is why I love bitcoin. 13.2% Huh Ouch !! What did I break?

But that fee includes the Ebay fee of 10%. That is something you have to pay regardless you use bitcoin or not.

Yeah paypal and ebay both have fees that's why it's so ridiculous you pay fees trough both systems leaving you with alot less money.
Bitcoin removes the paypal fee though since bitcoins don't really have a fee which is nice but we can't get around greedy ebays fee.

Yeah paypal fees are huge and too many scams involves in paypal payment mode. It is simply waste when we compare with bitcoins. They is not huge fees here and payment also will reach to receiver with in some minutes. bitcoin should replace the paypal asap.

As i see on this thread  there are lot of bashers on paypals services and i want to add on that thing is true. If you compared bitcoin to paypal, btc  its too far away better in terms of fees and accesibility on any transaction weve made and also  paypal do also know your identity unlike on bitcoin you could buy things without compromising your personal info which is  good for me and to others who prefer that way.

i'm gonna step out of line and say that I can live with the ebay fees. if you can sell elsewhere then there's nothing stopping you but any old shit on there is nearly guaranteed to sell, sometimes for way more than it's worth, and that's worth something to me.

I only sell on there when I get special fee offers these days and they're often really good.
