You need to remember. paypal is a company, BTC is a currency system.
Paypal is simply facilitating fiat money transfer.

I run a ebay store and my last invoice was $900AUD, for around $4k gross sales.
I only made around $1000 profit, so, my fees were equal to the same amount of my profit.
Literally half my money.
And i guess that's why a lot of people are needed for changing their perception about comparing the bitcoin with PayPal and change into comparing the bitcoin wallet service with PayPal and that is could be a more reliable thread.

I do remember some brazilian person which has made an exchange with me some years ago from paypal to payza, where he offered 15 dollars for 10 dollars into his paypal, i got around 13 dollars as im a Euporean citizen, when i made the opost i got scared with the print, those person with the same ammount got a fee of 40% or something like that, i dont remember well. Soo if you do join paypal and amazon your potencial profit will be left into those two companies.

Well that is making them more rich and got more profit because of those high charging and unexpected fees. That is why I don't use paypal anymore and when upon searching something at ebay. It looks interesting but upon knowing their true identity that they are the same as paypal and other payment processor, I didn't tried to visit them anymore.

Use Coinbase Account almosanywhere with Shift card

Coinbase has made using your checking account slower but cheaper. If you want instant BTC or USD you now need to use a credit/debit card to buy BTC (at higher fee) and use your existing  paypal account to instantly deposit USD again at a higher fee.

direct deposit and withdrawal to your checking account now take days to appear.

We shouldn't be using ebay cause ebay prices of fee are just way too high you can just use dark marketplaces instead.
Atleast on there you can also accept bitcoin it's just a bit shady with criminals etc.

This is the worst advice i had see around here, soo you wanna people to be criminal and act as one, people can go jail doing such, using bitcoin isnt a problem use and support dark marketplaces might become a problem, really dont follow this sugestion better keep with high fees.

Haha I don't know what I feels when I read his suggestion and its funny to say that you are going to point your fingers to someone that wants to have good transactions and legal and pointing them out to the illegal ones and unsafe marketplace. For we all know dark marketplaces has a lot of scammers and untrusted people.

Its  his  perception to  point someone  on  using  darknet instead of ebay. Haha.  In  my own choice i would rather  to suffer  on  huge  fees rather than to  go on those darkmarket places  just to spend  my bitcoin on their which isnt ideal  thing to do at all. As you said  those  marketplaces  have  lots of scammers and  other illegal acts  involve thats why we need to be extra careful to engage  if we  dont  like to end  up  on jail.
Some weeks ago i read some reddit post that were left from some sellers from dark marketplaces, those were professional and making around 150-300 k dollars profit yearly, sure the scammers are present at all places, there is no way to control or stop them. But all know that use a dark marketplace will lead into jail, because supporting such activity is ilegal.

Those sellers are just risking theirselves  to make  good money and  they  make it as  a living for sure hence they could able  to generate good income. Scammers  do really exist even  not  in  darkplaces but illegal activities are rampant there. GOvernment would  really have a hard time to  track those  sellers. Ebay and  paypal fees are ridiculous  though.

Thats those fees no one agree, and people must understand and give more value to the products they sell, why a third companie, being paypal and amazon should stand with such income doing nothing besides let buy and sell products, thats insane to do business that way.
The world is facing financial problems and big companies are rich enought already, i do believe you could use around 700 from those fee into something good.

Yeah, if we compared the fee from Paypal and bitcoin, paypal fee is really high than bitcoin. For each transaction, bitcoin have low fee than other digital currencies.
that is because paypal is a company that offering service and bitcoin is a cryptocoin that's actually decentralized so no company owning bitcoin, company basically was made to gain profit as much as it can while cryptocoin was ideally being made to simplify your live and minimize everyday needs to pay the fee, definitely different thing in my opinion

Besides of all these Ebay is still one of the largest marketplace on the web and Paypal is the biggest online merchant and payment source..
20 million people use paypal regularly... these are some facts that paypal is still loved most no even the cost very high rates (this may be the reason of their high fee because they give great service).
Actually paypal don't care what a bitcoin user say or think about him.

It's still early days yet for open bazaar, same for bitsquare you can convert fiat to BTC on bitsquare. then buy on Open bazaar.

still no charge back but there is multisg escrow and arbitration. Later versions will allow for better store fronts.

DASH Monero and NAV have or coming out soon with anonymous transactions. which can cause their adoption to increase. (I'm a NAV fan  http://navcoin.org)

You cant fight with company fees actually, the only way to fight it is just leave this company for themselves, dont let them earn money thats all.
I agree with you anyway, these fees are insane, its not fair for us,the customers indeeed...

Indeed you can't fight the fees but you can boycott them by just not using their service and using a different service.
There are bitcoin marketplaces which you could use instead of this dumb ebay.

Sure bitcoin is removing some transacitons made with paypal as well wester union, but the people Who had changed to bitcoin from those group are tinny, sure those companies do feel bitcoin stealing or sharing their business with it, but they cant do nothing at the moment, bitcoin keeps growing and might be a rival at those companies.

I hate both these services and that's why I don't use them either. Sometimes I have to use paypal because bitcoin is not accepting in every online store and paypal somewhat is.
But then I see the paypal fees and just get angry at all the money they take.
well the statement after your first sentence is really against your first sentence, you're saying no more to paypal but still using it even though you're raging after seeing the ridiculous fees, that's just strange, and actually i do agree with your point that their fees are terribly ridiculous

They are only putting that ridiculous fees on the products and that is only because they take the biggest risk by dont using fees you know lots of people ara not interested to
the company and they dont want to get failliet becuase of the coin,.

That is why many paypal users are adopting bitcoins and forgetting about paypal already because of that fees. But what happened is paypal adopted bitcoin.

I don't know if the articles and news that comes out sudden about paypals partnership with coinbase. I don't know if that is real.

Because I didn't see in my paypal account that there is a portion for bitcoins.

Im thinking  the same way too but  as far as  i know regarding to that news paypal and coinbase dont emerge, the real story here is that  coinbase does create  an account  on  paypal which  is  somehow confusing  about  on what purpose  do these actions have been  made  by coinbase. If  im gonna choose  bitcoin  is too far away better  than paypal.

Im paypal user since back then  and always got confused for their big charges on everytime i do some transaction in that processor, thats why i leaving that one when i know bitcoin since it was flexible processor and fee's are cheapest among those other one, but for coinbase thing well i don't know how they do some transaction with that but i don't usually buy btc using paypal at them.

In terms  of  payment transfers and  transaction fee, bitcoin is a clear winner  compare to paypal. Yes  its the cheapest and there are lots  of businesses out there are being affected  by the bitcoin existence like    money transfer businesses. Ebay/Paypal do  have really  ridiculous fees on their service they made.
