What is coming in the future for ECCoin

The official meaning for EC in the ECCoin name is Easy and Clear. the Coins now official name is EasyClearCoin.

which means yes, i am currently working on a clear send protocol (its not done yet) that will be out in the next major update of 1.9. (maybe a week or two, depending on how much time i have) this protocol for sending will work to do the opposite of what cloak coin and dark coin tried to do. instead of anoning and hiding the transactions of coins sent across the block chain, this coin will work to make the chain more transparent and easier to follow so that it is easier to track coins rather than make it harder. i believe that having this in a coin will make it easier to be accepted by the current standing governments and such because it is easy to address their biggest excuse for not allowing bitcoin [money laundering]. i will provide a more detailed description of the protocl and how it works when it is more towards completion.

Under Balance you see Stake, are your coins there?

If not, you have to go to help-->Debug Window . This will open the Debug window, now choose Console, and type repairwallet.

Push enter

The coins were not showing up under the Stake, but it worked with the repairwallet command. Thanks a lot for the help

looks good what u are doing here thx for taking over the coin
and the shift from eco towards clear was good move too
we at diamond have the same thinking that anonymous transaction coins
are sooner or later (when cryptocoins get legalized) the dark side of crypto

on the easy part u have to work
a wallet that can be used by a new non computer adddicted guy
without ever do stuff like show hidden folders and write manually a conf file and so on....

Today (8/20/2014) we are doing node repairs. we are ending the use of hostmasters nodes and will be adding 5 or 6 of our own. 2 of which are already in the code. (and conf file). when the nodes are updated and fully functional there willl be an update to the conf file and the source of the wallet.
the wallet update to version 1.8.3 will be recommended but not required.

i will keep you posted on progress as we get closer and find out more details
