Even now we have experts and many investors who speculate about the ETH crossing $2000 till December when Bitcoin will have crossed $20000.

This is a very unpredictable scene because the speculations seldom go the right direction and the rise in the value is also determined by so many factors which are not normally taken into consideration when the value is being speculated. But I think it will not take that long to cross the said value. ETH might cross this value if not in the end of the year, the next year for sure.

The question when is very difficult to answer, though there are speculation that Ethereum will more likely beat its all time high record this year. Others also speculate that it might reach the 2000 US dollar mark. But as far as charts are considered this is not visible yet.

That will take a long run to come into reality. I believe when this price will accomplish by ethereum bitcoin is surely has a giant distance far from ethereum and this may happen next  year or maybe after two years. This can be possible since crypto currency year after is becoming  more popular.

I hope it is next year, the sooner the better let's see in 2,5 months the good news they're going to announce, but to me it's a really solid project that deserves well the second position in the rank by market capitalisation. Still not foreseeing any flippening in the near future, though.

I dont think it will be any easier for ETH to move more than $1000 at this position. ETH is not holding their strongest support lines and falling beyond expectations. Unless we see a bunch of projects which really work well, ETH cant go up.

I remember how guys made bets for Ethereum price 6-7 months ago. Most of the people were absolutely sure that the altcoin would be offered for at least 1.5-2 thousand. Now we see we were mistaken. It will gain later, next year.

I don't know if I want to answer this question or relax myself a bit from the prices right now. For quite some time Ethereum was able to hold on to $400 despite the market going down slowly but consistently. However, a day or two ago, the struggle ended with Ethereum losing. It now slides down to $300 plus. And considering that August is considered the ghost month, well, according to some chinese belief, there might be some redder days ahead. Brace yourself!

See you $2,000 in December. 

I think so. The only question is when? In the corridor of 5-7 years, if there are no major geopolitical shocks that can collapse the cryptocurrency market, Ethereum can reach a value of 2,000$.

for me it has the capability to hit $2,000 in 2010, for now eth is establishing a more solid foundation just like what bitcoin has done for the past years.

I think that if the price of ETH cannot exceed $2000 this year, its price may not reach this level in the next few years, because its competitors are more attractive in the future!

I don't think it will be this year, maybe the time is mid-2019. Maybe it will happen. But you need to look at the overall market price of Bitcoin.

The demand for Ethereum is significant as more and more investors are looking to invest in it. However, rather than just looking at the demand of the asset, it is important to look into the underlying application of Ethereum.

In the longer term, only when the underlying application of Ethereum is being utilized more and more, Ethereum would increase in value as well. This is one of the main reasons why you have to look at the potential end users.

The truth is that even Fortune 500 companies are interested in what Ethereum has to offer. They have formed an enterprise Ethereum alliance in order to harvest the smart contract capability as well as the blockchain capability of Ethereum. Once proper end applications are available, you can be sure that the usage of Ethereum would increase significantly.

In addition to the application which we discussed above, Ethereum platform is also being used by the companies in order to launch their ICO’s as well. This is another application which is gaining more and more momentum.

It is experienced by some of the analysts that bitcoins and ethereum will increase four times its value over the next and last two quarters of 2018 this means that for the next six months the value of ethereum will increase by 400%

Now Ethereum has a very low price, only about $ 430. I think it will take a lot of time for Ethereum to reach the $ 2000 price. I guess last year the highest price that Ethereum can achieve is $ 1500. Maybe next few years, the new Ethereum can reach $ 2000, maybe by 2020. Besides, now is a good time for us to buy and hold Ethereum.

This may take two years, and Ethereum does have a high investment value. The whole cryptocurrency In addition to coins other than bitcoin, the safest coin should be Ethereum.

I wait same but not so fast.  I think BTC will down soon. And ETH can not update ATH. Moreover, I think ETH price can't break $1k. Yes, it's sad but i wait the worst and hope to the best. About topic target. I wait $2k no earlier than at EoY '18. That's real period to me

I'm hoping that it will break the all time high this coming bullish season, this coin has what it takes but I think it won't be easy, so lets hope for the best. Keep holding and who knows it might perform way better than it did last January.

It is difficult in this year for them to break the 2000 USD barrier but this is only a numerical analysis for this to be proven right there must be some sort of technical analysis for the backing of such claims
 

I think that the price in 2000 $ can be already this year. Maybe in December! Maybe even more than $ 2000. I predict a price of $ 3000 at the end of this year

ETH wants to double it at present, it seems difficult to achieve, because this year, there are a lot of better competitors (3.0 blockchain) in the market, which will make Ethereum lose some customers, although its price may continue Rising, but to reach $2000, more investors need to join the market!
