Spurs where no match for Liverpool. A team that has good attack, from the midfield line upfront, will definitely win games well. And playing a low block football against them was a very bad idea, because spurs isn't even good at playing such style.

Newcastle/Liverpool in the finals. Liverpool is obviously going to win this. Those low block and counter that Newcastle specializes on won't work against this Liverpool side, because of their good attack.

Yes, Newcastle have failed to live up to our expectations. They have let us down unexpectedly and disappointed the fans by losing games we expected them to win. Their position is not bad at all, they still have the potential to finish in the top 4 if they can be consistent. Newcastle are not to be underestimated, but they lack consistency. Eddie Howe needs to work harder to maintain consistency and the plan needs to be stronger and more innovative.

To some extent, I don't blame Tottenham because they obviously have depleted squad and some of their players are clearly a fraction of their fittest self. Although, they should have done better but Liverpool is arguably the best best club now in Europe when it comes to consistency. I'm only disappointed at Tottenham despite playing against the best team for showcasing lack of interest at all and how they buckle under pressure. I never see a team so uninterested like the way Tottenham play yesterday. They were just 90 minutes away from a final despite having an empty trophy cabinet but unfortunately they failed to turn up. They are already terrible in the PL as you know. The main issue has been their defending. Sad

They don't have issues with scoring as you have seen so many times in the PL. But they just can't defend which causes them to lose most of the time. The only way to solve the issue looks like to sign more defenders. But quality ones as much as possible. Kevin Danso is a start but not enough. They signed only him in the whole window. I don't know if Ange wanted this or they didn't let him bring more defenders.

Tottenham is no longer a reliable team if Ange is still the head coach.

And for Liverpool they are hard to stop this season, most likely Arne will present his first trophy this season through the Carabao Cup because challenging Newcastle in the final is not something difficult, it can be said that Liverpool is one step ahead.

I didn't have a doubt that Liverpool were going to win yesterday and infact when I saw the stats, I concluded there and then who was going to meet Newcastle in the finals. It's clear enough that Tottenham do not really have anything big they are targeting other than remaining in the league because it's in competitions like this you try to put effort to see if you can at least get a trophy but they played so awfully yesterday I began questioning myself whether this were the same team that struggled to remove Man UTD, knowing fully how important the Red Devils take competitions like this.
It will be a tough final between Newcastle and Liverpool and I'm not willing to overlook the trouble the magpies may cause for Arne's men but then again, Newcastle can't be reliable at times and Liverpool will be looking to win a trophy for Arne Slot as a way to encourage the guy and boost team morale.
