I didn't have a doubt that Liverpool were going to win yesterday and infact when I saw the stats, I concluded there and then who was going to meet Newcastle in the finals. It's clear enough that Tottenham do not really have anything big they are targeting other than remaining in the league because it's in competitions like this you try to put effort to see if you can at least get a trophy but they played so awfully yesterday I began questioning myself whether this were the same team that struggled to remove Man UTD, knowing fully how important the Red Devils take competitions like this.
It will be a tough final between Newcastle and Liverpool and I'm not willing to overlook the trouble the magpies may cause for Arne's men but then again, Newcastle can't be reliable at times and Liverpool will be looking to win a trophy for Arne Slot as a way to encourage the guy and boost team morale.
To think of it though, what if Liverpool wins the Carabao and forfeit the EPL title? Will it be worth it? Although there's no guarantee yet that they will be the ones lifting it but with how things are going, they stand a chance more than the other competing clubs. So what it's going to be?

Not surprising to see Liverpool humiliated Tottenham since Tottenham lost 10 players, that's really a big number. Every Liverpool's players played really well, Bradley is getting better and he seems able to replace TAA's position.

With such performance, there's no way to see people would bet Newcastle in the final match.

This game took a turn for real quite quickly in the second half. The first half was like placebo, everyone could see Liverpool is giving it to Tottenham already, but they didn't score all the goals they should have scored.

The goalkeeper of Tottenham was doing well, but Liverpool was quite sloppy about their chances. On some other days I think this game could be 4-0 by halftime. Maybe if in the second half the second goal wouldn't have scored as fast, then Tottenham might have had a chance to somehow save this game into overtime, but not really. Tottenham didn't have one serious goal attempt. The Liverpool goalkeeper did not have to defend a shot! Brutal how bad Tottenham plays this season.

After the first half goal and penalty that made Liverpool 2 goal ahead made Tottenham game fall apart, haha they experienced down in playing mentality and lost confidence which resulted in Liverpool being able to really dominate the attack and get 2 more goal for 4 - 0 win.
