Have you completed the Energi 3.1.0 mandatory upgrade yet?
Any node that has not been upgraded will be invalidated at the time of the fork. Make sure you get yours done before August 25th for a seamless transition.

Energi Core Node v3.1.0 has been released!
This is the official release for the Energi Asgard hard fork. It brings many beneficial changes, but most importantly resolves the network stability issues we have seen with Gen3.
This is a mandatory upgrade for all node operators, whether masternodes or stakers. The upgrade must be completed by our hard fork date of August 25 to ensure uninterrupted staking and masternode operation.
You can download the latest release here: https://wiki.energi.world/en/downloads/core-node
To upgrade Energi Core Node v3.1.0 your VPS, run the following as root or nrgstaker:
bash -ic "$(wget -4qO- -o- raw.githubusercontent.com/energicryptocurrency/energi3-provisioning/master/scripts/linux/energi-linux-installer.sh)" ; source ~/.bashrc
Please remember to unlock your account for staking after the upgrade is complete.

Although not as straightforward as loading a QT wallet on your machine, staking is relatively simple using just a few commands.
First step is to download MyEnergiWallet - https://wiki.energi.world/en/how-to/myenergiwallet
Then once you have your wallet setup you need to download the Core Node: https://wiki.energi.world/en/advanced/core-node-windows (Windows) or https://wiki.energi.world/en/advanced/core-node-mac (Mac).
After that just follow from Step 2 in the Staking Guide: https://wiki.energi.world/en/staking-guide which includes a video tutorial if you find that easier to follow.
If you need assistance with it there is a green chat icon on all the guide pages which will open a support session with the team.

I just don't understand how to stake this coin.
I love staking coins in wallets I run on my own machines. I enjoyed doing that with Energi.
But I guess it's not so simple to stake. It seems every time I look it becomes a word salad of information.
I believe in this coin but maybe someone else can write a guide or maybe it's just too complicated for old school stakers to are too busy for the learning curve.
