EOS holders keep getting many free token airdrops for the dapps getting developed on its platform so it is a great one to hold for long term. EOS raised over a billion in its ICO that remains the biggest one to date.
Based on statistics and my personal opinion, EOS is objectively better for investing than IOTA. Therefore, I believe that this token has more prospects.
I see a great future ahead of IOTA. I believe in the team behind IOTA and I know they are really working hard to make all their goals a reality.

IOTA, I have to write about it. The principle of operation is one of the most promising in the medium term. The IoT market is growing faster than any other and if the integration happens, it is IOTA that will become the leader of cryptocurrencies in the world.

EOS will be the next big thing or it will fail miserably...there is no other way.
IOTA has crashed quite recently. As evidenced by IOTA slipping out of the top 10 on CMC last week (market capitalization fell sharply). But I believe both EOs and IOTA are making a lot of adjustments. I am very interested in the boldness of the EOS platform. So, holding both is pretty good idea.
If you choose which of these coins is better then I would prefer EOS because it has a large community and the project is clearly developing faster. Well, of course your eyes should not focus on this coin.
Both EOS and IOTA are potential altcoin and worth to invest. I believe in the future these 2 altcoins will grow strongly and bring a lot of profit to investors. I would choose to invest in EOS, this is altcoin has a huge market capitalization, every day it has huge trading volume. EOS has fast transaction speed and free transaction costs. I believe EOS will become a threat to Ethereum one day.

Yes all of the coins had always their hype because that what whales do always controls everything and news are very easy for them but if you ask me I would suggest to choose them both instead of choosing one because that is more profitable. Goodluck.

Regarding buying EOS or IOTA, however, remember that when you buy the currency/token you are NOT buying a piece of the underlying business. Read the documentation carefully and ask whether you believe the token has a reason to increase in value.

Growth wise EOS will be nice coin to make your investment but for long term focus I feel that IOTA seems standing in this rank for very long time than EOS. So if you wanna hodl it for long term do not worry about the price of the IOTA.

EOS doesn’t really compete with IOTA. EOS is a dapps platform, whereas IOTA focuses more on other functionality, such as decentralized storage, oracles, currency exchange, cloud computing. There is not much dapp functionality yet on IOTA. However, this might come soon.
However, EOS is competing with Ethereum, Cardano, NEO, Elastos.

Both coins are interesting, but I chose IOTA. It seems to me that this coin is much more interesting than EOS. For long-term investment, both coins are good.
