From my opinion if you using mobile you can taste Trust Wallet for storing your funds. It's supper simple & easy to use.Or if you using pc you can use metamask because it's highly secure & most popular. There are also lot of wallets those are still good but better using best products.

Hi,
Sorry I am new to the Crypto world.
Trying to find out more details on the ERC20 Wallet Address and how Do I get one.
Is the ERC20 Wallet Address the same as the Etherium wallet address which I can get on coinbase.com?

Thanks

there is a bunch of good answers before mine, but i would advise you to check existing material first and then ask questions regarding ERC20 address and how you can make one with a wallet, because it will certainly be no helpful just to go to any of these wallets/sites that provide ERC20 address, without preparation

first, you need to know that with any of these wallets you cannot recover your data, so be sure to save your passwords, mnemonic and all other data that will be presented to you when creating address, otherwise you will loose your funds before even know it, because of password lack or similar

You can make it on Myetherwallet.com or you can download the Trustwallet app in Playstore or Appstore, Trust is easier to use for beginners compared to MEW in my opinion

If you want to use the erc20 wallet on the desktop (browser) try to use metamask and you can also register first at MEW. Or you can download trust wallet or IMTOKEN, both are very good and I have used it to store erc20 tokens. As far as i know exchangers don't recommend you to deposit the ethereum address because usually the addresses for ETH and tokens are different.

You need to learn about wallets first, wallet like coinbase are online wallet meaning they keep your private key safe for you, this means you don't have 100% control of your wallet, for me I don't recommend such
That's why we shouldn't use centralized wallets, preferably decentralized wallets, and we have complete control over our address. Go to myetherwallet and create an address with and store your private key as carefully as possible
to be honest centralized wallet serve its purpose as a mere temporary way to store your erc20 token or just simply to exchange it but people are free to save their token there and to be honest it's still relatively safer if you don't know whether your PC is secured or not. It's all jus depends on the people.

To make the work more easier for you I will like to list few decentralized wallet on here, they are more secured and better
1. Coinomi wallet
2. Trust wallet
3. Myether wallet
4. Monarch wallet
5. Exodus wallet
6. Bitpay wallet
7. Copay wallet
8. Atomic wallet

Good luck
I think Coinomi should be removed from your list, it's having a lot of problems with many members on this forum complaining about it. I think Metamask should be added to this list, which is a good wallet
I don't understand why so many people are complaining about Coinomi wallet, I also used this wallet for a while before moving to trust wallet. But I see their wallet is also very good and there is not any problem with me
It caused by not all of people encountered the same problem but just try to make sure to avoid the risk that we will get by use coinomi is much better.
AFAIK op needs more education about this consider about he was a new player in the cryptocurrency. i hope that will learn more about this caused by this is a very important thing to choose the best wallet.

ERC 20 wallets are cryptocurrency decentralized wallets that can be used to store different tokens especially on Ethereum Blockchain

You need to create an address and have a private key to access it. Ideally, you should use Myetherwallet to create a new address, or you can use forkdelta to create a new address much faster and more convenient.
A little advice from me for you, do not ever use forkdelta to create your new wallet address even though it can be faster, because forkdelta will not really be safe to use forever, even though it looks comfortable when someone uses it, I am more amenable to using Myetherwallet in the matter of making a new wallet, because Myetherwallet is safer and also better if we compare it with forkdelta.

I have not used forkdelta anymore since i stop trading in DEX, so you are saying it's  much faster and more convenient, but is it safe?

What I know about this exchange is you input your private key to be able to trade, I've no idea you can create an account using the site.

Use myetherwallet.com instead.

These are the supported coins on Coinbase.

https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/general-crypto-education/supported-cryptocurrencies.html

You can also choose to use hardware wallet like Ledger nano s or Ledger nano X, they're better than any other wallet.

Is the ERC20 Wallet Address the same as the Etherium wallet address which I can get on coinbase.com?
Erc20 tokens use Ethereum wallet address but they don't count as Ethereum, they are tokens.

I don't like suggesting myetherwallet to newbies because of my ugly experience with it. Also, it can easily be cloned and the moon's will be phished. I rather suggest the mobile wallets, trust wallet or imtoken which is secure, easy to use and less complicated than MEW

Not every Ethereum address can store ERC20 tokens, but every ERC20 address can receive Ethereum!
Wrong, every ETH address can receive ERC20 token but the problem with ETH address from an exchange or custodial wallet is that, they only create the address for ETH. If you send any token, you will not have access to your fund.
An address which is generated from private key or a wallet which you have control over like with passphrase, can only be used for any ERC20 token.

It's best to go to myetherwallet dot com. This is the official site, on it to create your wallet in a way convenient for you. And use this particular wallet. Exchange wallets I do not recommend. Because exchanges are often robbed by scammers. And you will not rob wallets if you have $ 1000 there.

Most wallets are online because they can o ly be accessed with Internet connection. What you should tell the op is he should learn about centralized and decentralized wallets. Decentralized wallets should be used for full control of funds

The coinbase generate its ERC20 address through the node that already controlled by coinbase and that's also connect to the ethereum network. There was no differences between ERC20 that was not on the coinbase and the address that already given by coinbase. You should not feel worry about that dude. You can get one by download the offline wallet like mycrypto.com
