AZ and Twente are not same class as Feyenoord, and Ajax, PSV are class above Feyenoord at the moment
have to say that PSV win is somewhat surprising, but it brings competition back to Dutch league, with a win Ajax would gone a bit too far from competitors
nevertheless, AZ is playing good in Europe as well, and they will probably secure position 4 in the end
the competition in the top 5 is very tight and interesting imo. each team has only a small difference in points. next week PSV will face Alkmaar and Twente will face Rotterdam. if PSV loses this match then ajax or Feyenoord will shift their position. ajax will face Emmen and Feyenoord against excelsior and this is sure to be an easy match for ajax and Feyenoord.
I think AZ and Twente will not be able to keep up the performance of the top 3, I am also curious about Feyenoord, but I hope they can fight for the title until the end of the season for the sake of suspense. I also have to be honest and say that it's a good thing that Ajax gave away a lot of key players in the summer, otherwise it would have been a rather boring season this year. I don't think that the other teams have gained so much quality, but that Ajax has lost some quality with the departures.

So not completely undeserved, should Ajax and Feyenoord now win their supplementary games, it could become a three-way fight, as it seems that AZ and Twente are losing the connection a bit.
this defeat of ajax was something unexpected for me, i was very convinced that ajax would win this game without having too many difficulties, but i am surprised by this result, PSV with this victory have a good chance of being champions if they maintain good consistency in each game and avoid a lot of mistakes and loss of points, ajax has the advantage that they hardly lose points when playing against other teams, but PSV has disadvantage that they lose points when playing against other teams. AZ Alkmaar which was leading the table now suddenly have poor form in last four matches they lost three which bring them down to fifth place with now they are going to face PSV in next match which is surely another test match for them if they want alive their hopes for good end of this season they have to do improve their performance.

Feyenoord had relatively easy win against Volendam 0:2, Twente ended game with G. A. Eagles 1:1. AZ dropped to 5th place after loss against Walwijk. It's their 3rd loss in 4 recent games.

If you look at things just in Eredivisie context, yeah, Ajax looked more stable, but as we saw in Champions league, they had nothing to offer against Napoli and Liverpool. Didn't saw whole 90 minutes of game, but from what I saw, Ajax had posession and attacked more, while PSV tried to play on counter attacks. That moment when they made score 0:2 and made Johan Cruyff Arena silent was strong.

PSV is currently leading 0-2 in the match against Ajax in Amsterdam. Ajax seems to have problems with PSV more often. I can remember that recently there was also a 0-4 result in favor of PSV. Ajax still has some time to change the score, but that will be a difficult job against this PSV. Ajax has not been in good shape for a while and the results lately have not been great. It is good for the tension that PSV wins this match, otherwise Ajax would be no less than 7 points ahead of Ajax.

Sparta has really had a dream year so far. Were around 8th place and now seem to easily win at Vitesse with a 0-2 lead. It's only 5 minutes to play. Last year, Sparta actually played against relegation all the time, something that is actually unthinkable now. Tomorrow we have the top match Ajax - PSV on the program, with the note that the supporters of PSV are not allowed to join. They have been sanctioned. Ajax individually has more quality, but that doesn't count in these kinds of matches. I can remember that last year it was even 0-4 for the cup.

with the drop of ajax to UEL, added to the tight competition between the Dutch teams there. Feyenoord and PSV performed very well at UEL, so I doubt that ajax will be able to compete with them at UEL, ajax's performance at UCL is very bad.
NEC managed to win 1-0 from Cambuur through a goal made by Schone in the 44th minute, Cambuur did not manage to get out of the relegation zone.
