After loss to Emmen, now they have just 1 win in recent 5 Eredivisie games. So, they're not doing better than Ajax recently.
Tomorrow Feyenoord will play Nijmegen, great chance to extend their lead. While it's likely that Twente or AZ can drop points tomorrow, as they will face not easiest opponents away  - Vitesse and G.A. Eagles.

Well, it's surprising that PSV lost, as you wrote both leading teams of the last years are weakening, wait and see how the games of Feyenoord, AZ and Twente turn out. Feyenoord could improve their position with a win. Ajax, on the other hand, must win tomorrow, otherwise it will be bitter.

For the Eredivisie it would be very important that PSV and Ajax play internationally next year, otherwise it would be bitter for the 5-year ranking for the whole league.

My tips for the day!

VITESSE vs TWENTE

Vitesse has to press and attack hard in this round while the visiting team must score strongly on the pitch. Due to that I expect a very closed game, so I believe that there will be no more than 2.5 goals.

Under 2,5 goals

GO AHEAD vs AZ

Go Ahead will try to leave the field with the 3 points. The visiting team wants to surprise its opponent in this round. The tendency is to have a busy game between the 2 teams, so we bet that both squds score goals.

Both Teams Score

betting on ajax is the same as asking to lose money, ajax is no longer that same scary team from the past where they won easily and scored many goals, today they are already breaking the record of having 5 consecutive draws and without a doubt they will not win the league this season and they won't go to the champions league either and there's a risk they won't even finish in 4th place if things keep going like this, sad but unfortunately that's what's happening

They have lost too many players and despite this they are still holding up well. And they still have chances to compete for the Champions League, although I agree that they are not great. The top of the table is very tight with only 5 points gap between first and fifth place, but it will still take a while for Ajax to replenish the team with new players, especially since they have a very good school for young players.

Looks like you won a lot of money @blue Snow Roll Eyes, the final result of the Feyenoord Vs Ajax Amsterdam match was 1 - 1, based on statistics, we can see that both teams played very carefully in building attacks or defenses, so that we didn't see dominance from one team. With this result, Feyenoord is still in first place in the Eredivisie, but even so, they still have to keep their points away from AZ. Because currently their point gap is only 2 points.
not too much mate, But enough to bet on the next match Feyenoord vs NEC. So far Feyenoord is enough confident to hold to not lose. We know Ajax is depending champions who still have that habit to beat clubs like Feyenoord. Maybe because the squad still has adaption, filling up several new player. And with this result, there is an issue Alfred Schreuder's position is not save, because this is the worst result Ajax since 1998/1999.

If it continues like this, PSV and Ajax will definitely not be champions this year, unfortunately I think Ajax have even less chance of becoming champions than PSV. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the season.

I think Ajax has not only a bad season also not the best management, I appreciate Edwin very much because of his performance in the past for Ajax, but the coach seems to be a complete miscast, also in winter they let Blind go without a transfer fee and by mutual agreement (presumably at the coach's request) let Blind go to Bayern on a free transfer. Where, please, is there such a thing?

And all of this is currently reflected in the lines, I think the players themselves now have little confidence in the coach.
This kind of season has been a long time coming for Ajax. They sell their best players at will to other bigger clubs so what do you expect? Its difficult for very good players to play more than 2 full seasons at Ajax. I don't blame them for selling their players that have high market value but they should know that there are side effects and this season shows that. They sold Antony and Blind without any real real replacements. When the offer came for Antony, he wanted to leave so thy couldn't keep him but 100m is enough money to get a better replacement but they didn't. Then there's Blind who is not only a good player for the team but has lost of experience and can be a leader. He was sold with no replacement too. They also lost their coach too so their form this season is not surprising, what would have surprised me is if they still maintained top form despite all these.
The fact that they made so much money from those sales are the reason why people assumed they may manage to keep their positions because they could use all of that money, even half of it, to just replace the players they sold with new younger talent and then be champions again.

It's true that they sold many of their players, but they also got a lot of money for it as well and should be rich right now, and money is very important in world of football. It didn't work so far, but I am pretty sure they will manage to do it eventually, and they will find some players they will buy and make them great again. If not, where did all that money went to? Not operational costs I hope, that would be a shame.

PSV decreased their chances with a lose over Emmen, early goal for Emmen, red card for PSV and things were not good for them
it is opening for Feyenoord to get title after all, but I still don't believe in them, they are simply not that good to hold on top

Sparta is playing with RKC still, and they can jump over Ajax in case they win this match

PSV also won very difficult. It could well be that both Ajax and PSV will not become champions this year.

What would we expect if a team is disrupted like that, to continue winning after all of that? Of course, they had some trouble but I am pretty sure that they are going to end up with a lot of wins again, they just need time to rebuild the team again which we all know they will do, they are famous for doing that, they have built a system where they are never bad, and I think it's going to work pretty well again this summer, just one bad season is fine.

I also think that Ajax will make the Tourn around again, but whether they will make it this year 2023? Money would be available for it in any case.

For me, these are two different pairs of shoes. Antony brought in 100 million and you have to let him go. But Blind's contract was mutually terminated and he was given away for free, which is clearly a fail by the management.

the match between emmen and PSV is one that ordinarily a good forecaster will conclude that the good side will win this match with a good number of goals and that good side is Psv, Psv have always been one of the best teams in the Dutch top league, and this season as well they are in pursuit for at least a top three finish. Currently they need just a surplus of three points to climb to the top of the league table.Meanwhile, Emmen are one of the worst team in Dutch senior league and are placed in the relegation zone/ area at this time. They have just two wins to their name all through the campaign, and their only win this season at home came five months back, Emmen are among the teams to get relegated, so seeing this two teams previous meetings we all should expect a win from the titans PSV.

I think it was just expected to be not so great. They have lost some of their best players in the past few years, bigger clubs picked their players apart and got themselves whoever they want and lastly they had to part ways with their manager as well.

While the Eredivisie continues with all its excitement, Feyenoord aims to maintain the lead. This year's momentary surprise team was Ajax. The team, which plays to the top of the Eredivisie every year, is now 5 points behind the leader. They should no longer lose points. They drew with Feyenoord this week, at least they didn't lose to Feyenoord. If they had lost, there would have been a greater loss of points in between.

Ajax is having a bad season. Funny to see that the coach indicates that Ajax is still growing. As if it were an amateur club that is getting better and better. Didn't manage to win 6 games in a row, and we're talking about the Eredivisie, not about the EPL for example. I see only one solution and that is to get rid of Schreuder as quickly as possible, who will certainly not submit his resignation if you hear him say that. The biggest problem is that he can't deal with the players either. But because Feyenoord didn't win today, Ajax is still in the race for the title. AZ is also a serious contender together with Twente. But individually, Ajax has by far the strongest selection. Why it doesn't work is not really clear to anyone.

I have seen the summary of the match Feyenoord - Ajax. And of course it was also provided with the necessary comments. This shows how badly Ajax played. Actually, this is a loss for Feyenoord that they did not win this match. Ajax had nothing to say at all, but still came 1-1 through a lucky goal. I don't think Ajax is suddenly going to play much better now. Not winning 6 games in a row means that they have lost at least 12 points in those 6 games. Since Ten Hag left with Overmars, it has collapsed. It is a pity that Overmars has left, but from a moral point of view that was also the only and right choice. You will not find such a director again. PSV also won very difficult. It could well be that both Ajax and PSV will not become champions this year.

It turns out that Ten Haag's departure had a very real negative impact on Ajax, you are right, most likely we will not see them play in the UCL for next season. But still, they still have a big chance if they improve their performance in the next matches. Remember that this is the half of the season, mate.

In Ajax next match, they will only face Volendam, who's currently in the relegation zone. OFC, if they manage to win with a big score against Volendam, maybe it can bring the mentality of all the players back again.
There is no doubt about this change of coach or departure of any player having the biggest impact on teams performance because this is surely changing the momentum of the team, and they have to change their strategy which is never been easy for any team same things happen in different teams recently like Brighton in EPL and then Villarreal in La Liga, so Ajax is also facing this dilemma, and they have to come out from this all even this will take some time but right now situation is not good for them because they are having six match without any win.

Now they are at the fifth spot in League table which is surely not favourite for the team like Ajax and their fans are also worried about this all hopefully now things could be changed, and they will be able to perform better in coming matches for the better end of this season.

Ajax's performance is very weak right now. We have forgotten the last time they won a match. They have drawn in the last 5 matches. Ajax's situation is now shaky after losing the main players of the team. Although they face a weak FC Volendam in the next match, we cannot say for sure that Ajax will win this match. I think Ajax will draw this match too. And I think in this match FC Volendam will aim to draw the match by playing a defensive strategy.

Even I have same feeling Ajax management needs to be sacked Schreuder but currently after end of first half of this season things looking interested with five top ranked teams are having fair chance to win this year's title and three having most lethal attack these are Feyenoord, PSV and Ajax with this most chances we will have them at the top three spots with AZ Alkmaar and Twente can give surprise which is possible with their quality and performance, but mostly fans are worried about Ajax because we all know this is surely one of the best club in Eredivisie and have the biggest fan base so most chances things could be changed from next week, and we will have good improvement but if Schreuder not able to give better results then surely needs to give his resignation quickly.

I don't think a draw in this match is actually a bad prediction owing to the fact that ajax have been struggling to win games and recently played a nil-nil draw with twente  making a two straight draw in their league. Feyenoord on the other hand are currently sitting first in the league and have a better form than Ajax and even have a slight better chance in Winning this match between the two teams that are playing. So predicting the gane a draw is not a bad prediction and one more thing, football is actually full of surprises what you expect is not actually what is played.

Forget about the bad form Ajax has had lately, you won't see them having a bad performance against Feyenoord, come on guys, I've seen this kind of thing a lot, when a strong team's performance drops, then it's an important match, 100% they will win that game. So, my prediction will be entirely on Ajax win in this match. Want easy money? choose Ajax, that's it.

This draw has increased Ajax's winless streak to six matches. The match was quite balanced but Ajax could have really lost there. Feyenoord did a great work with keeping the 1-0 advantage for a long time.

The gap with the leader is still five points maybe but this season is really worrying for Ajax. They haven't been good in either the Eredivisie or the Champions League. I wonder what they will do when they compete in the Europa League on one hand. I assume their main focus would still be on the Eredivisie. Because their joining the Champions League again is more likely by this method. It is much more difficult to win the Europa League title while there are many tough challengers.
