I agree, the league is more interesting than it has been for a long time. Who would have thought that Feyenoord would go into the winter break at the top of the table? I hope it stays like that next year and how PSV and Ajax will strengthen in the winter?

It's an excellent season. In fact, it was not enjoyable to watch an Eredivisie where Ajax won the championship every year. I can say the same for the Bundesliga and League 1. Feyenoord needs to maintain this position. They are currently beating Excelsior 5-1 in the ongoing match. This is a truly excellent score. Will the performance that will surpass Ajax be in other matches?
that was pure luck for Feyenoord (as PSV lost 1-0 to AZ) and kept them on top of the standings with 33 points. The last Eredivisie match this year is Vitesse vs Eagles and the league will start again next year, I'm also very curious about what will happen to PSV and Ajax next year, will Ajax be able to shift Feyenoord from the peak of standings?

Things haven't been going well for Ajax and PSV in the recent times. Especially Ajax couldn't get even one win for three weeks in the league. Emmen were like one of the easiest matchups for them but it ended up with an absurd result like 3-3. Despite getting 3-1 ahead somehow Ajax couldn't prevent a comeback by their opponent.

This was AZ's fourth away win in a row against PSV in the league by the way. They won three times before this one and they had a nice mental advantage due to that. They were having a good season too so PSV needed to watch out for them. But they still lost another home game against them.

Feyenoord has taken the top spot in the Eredivisie league for the first time, overtaking Ajax and PSV. Feyenoord is 3 points ahead of Ajax and PSV. And this season's title race has become more crowded. Over the past few seasons, we have seen Ajax and PSV battle it out for the title, with Ajax coming out on top at the end of the season. And Ajax's dominance is visible every season. But this season Ajax has been a bit behind. And Feyenoord has used this brilliance quite well. They have been performing consistently well and now occupy the top spot in the table. Feyenoord can win the title if they can maintain this consistency.

Feyenoord is entering the winter break as a leader. Somehow strange, they have never been at the top. Feyenoord has an extremely successful campaign at the moment. Last year the final of the EL, this season won the group in the EL and now top of the competition. I think it is untenable for Feyenoord to keep Arne Slot as a trainer. I suspect that he will become a trainer in the Premier League next year. Ajax still has every chance to become champion, but if you look at how many points they have lost in the last matches, that is worrying. I think all competitions will be closed from today because of the World Cup?

Wonderful season so far in the eredivise this year

The top team are performing very well both in the league and also in the European competition like the UEFA Champions league and the Europa league

My only problem is my favorite team Ajax which have lost their winning habits all of  a sudden

Its been three games already and Ajax have been struggling to find their winner feet..after experiencing a loss to the hands of their rivals PSV..the winning just came to an end and so far have struggled to find a win even at the hands of the league inferior teams..

If they are willing to contend for the title this they should do something about this poor form and go back to their winning ways

So far this Eredivisie season is simply great. There is just 4 points between 1st and 4th place, Twente isn't far away too. It would be something amazing if 3-4 teams will continue fight for title till the end.
Feyenoord goes into World Cup break as leaders after their win against Excelsior. Yesterday PSV lost at home against AZ. From what I saw, it was game of equal teams. PSV scored goal in 2nd half, but goal was cancelled after VAR review.

I dont know what is happening to Ajax this season. They got only one point against Emmen that is a really bad team. They had 1-3 and were able to spill it. PSV has an amazing chance if they will against AZ to confirm their first place this weekend.
I'm also wondering what's going on with Ajax. Everything looked fine in beginning of season. but now somethingwent wrong. They failed to win 3 Eredivisie games in a row, they were leading against Emmen 3:1, but still didn't won. And I would say that their performance in Champions league were shameful. Probably main reason of poor results is ten Haag leaving club and they didn't found right replacement for him.

Another failure of Ajax, this time against Emmen. No top team. They were leading 1-3 so it all seemed settled. How is it possible that this ship of Ajax could have sunk so far? It is getting worse every week and what is more important is that the championship is now starting to get out of sight and PSV is now going to take more distance from Ajax. Perhaps Feyenoord is currently PSV's first serious competitor. I wonder how long it will take before Schreuder gets his resignation, you can't keep denying these kinds of results, I think? PSV will not have an easy opponent this weekend in the form of AZ, but I think PSV will eventually win without any problems. Simons has become very good.

I think it is a combination of several factors. Everything seems to be going wrong at the moment, but there must be a cause somewhere. You could put the cause with the trainer, but you also have to be critical of the purchase policy that has taken place in the past year. If you look at how much money Ajax has raised, it is distressing to see how much level has been returned. You can still qualify a few purchases as certain bad purchases. It has already gone wrong there, but I don't know to what extent the trainer had an influence on that. Since Overmars and ten Hag left, it has collapsed like a house of cards.

Ajax will face Emmen who is currently a weak team at the bottom of the table. As for PSV, they have quite a strong opponent and are currently ranked 5th in the Eredivisie standings. How do you think these 2 matches will go? Are we going to see Ajax will get bad results?

I thought I would see only Ajax's dominance today against Emmen. But Emmen's players scored 2 goals. And their performance is better than Ajax. Although Ajax is still leading 3-2. But I think the match is more likely to be a draw. Due to this, Emmen's players continued to attack. Also, Ajax's players seem a little confused today. If they lose points in today's match too, they will go further back in the road to win the title.

Volendam has played 14 games and only 6 points. Then you get that you are at the bottom, by far the weakest team in this competition, but Cambuur doesn't do much better with 8 points either. Today Volendam lost at home against Utrecht. It is quite close together. No one will have taken it into account, but Feyenoord is certainly still in the battle for the title. Ajax was off the grid this season, but it is still having a significant dip at the moment. Schreuder can still stay, but during the winter break (when the World Cup is played) they will seriously think about whether they should not appoint another, more experienced trainer to prevent worse.

It took Twente a long time to make it 0-1, but when he finally fell, people thought the game was over. Twente has had a fairly strong team since last year. However, Sparta made it 1-1 after 10 minutes, will we see another goal there in the last fifteen minutes? Sparta has a dream season at the moment, if you compare it with last season. You wouldn't say it, but if they still manage to win this match, they will even be level with Ajax in points. I understand that the management of Ajax is currently looking at what they will do with the trainer, his coaching is far from stable at the moment. Maybe you should appoint another trainer, maybe Louis van Gaal after the World Cup?
Second match as Twente lost points and now settled at fourth spot with most chances they will keep this because now we have PSV vs AZ Alkmaar which is going into leader's favor with their current form and their quality which is currently at the top after beating Ajax in away match AZ Alkmaar is already in not good touch as they are already lost three matches from their last four matches which bring them down at fifth spot.

Ajax after losing five points now settled at third spot, but we can expect some changes in coming days specially in coaching staff and few players can also join because in last season they were good but after selling few top rank players now they are facing problem which needs to be settled quickly otherwise they can face problem in this season, or even they can face exit from Champions League as well which could be big trouble.
I am guessing that it’s a dry spell and not something fundamentally wrong with them. Sometimes teams that are good, even as good as being champions level of roster, end up playing a bit of bad games for a few weeks and Twente is facing that right now.

I am hoping that they could recover and do a lot better, no guarantee how they will do but they are good we know that so there is no reason why they should become bad suddenly. Everything points out that it’s just a dry spell for them and soon enough they will go back to how they were and then they will start to win some. Psychology plays a big part in this as well, when things are not looking great, players start to play even worse because they get a mental block.

Currently the Eredivisie standings are led by PSV with 30 points. Having the same points with PSV, Feyenoord is in second place in the standings and in third place we have Ajax there. I am waiting for no other matches besides the Emmen Vs Ajax and PSV Vs AZ matches in the 14th Eredivisie match.

it's a shame Twente failed to win against Rotterdam even though Twente has a large ball possession (63%), switch to PSV vs AZ, if PSV loses then Feyenoord's place will be shifted by AZ. Utrecht vs Volendam is also very influential on the standings, if utrecht wins then rotterdam will be displaced and utrecht is the favorite to win in this match.

ajax has fallen into the European league and will compete with PSV (which is also a representative team from the Eredivisie) there.

It appears that Ajax may go back to the top of the league considering the match between the current League leaders PSV and AZ which I think will be a bit difficult for PSV to win, going with the bookmarkers odd, PSV stands a better chance of winning with an odd of 1.48, draw at 4.34 while AZ at 5.50. Going back to their history, Az appears to have an edge against PSV in their last five meetings but with the current form and performance of PSV which shows that they have 4 wins in 6 matches in all competition I think PSV will come out victorious and be on top of the table in the world cup break.
I see nothing wrong with that odds because the history of the match between PSV and AZ shows that AZ slightly dominates PSV in the last 5 matches they have played. ajax definitely hopes that PSV loses this match, so that ajax's hope to return to the top is even greater.
Ajax will also battle against FC Emmen and I think it will not be easy to defeat them from away because the team is fighting to move out of the relegation zone.
even though emmen will try hard to win the match against ajax (b'cause they are the hosts and trying to get out of the relegation zone) but with the quality of emmen's current game, I think it will be difficult, ajax are a strong team and there is little chance for emmen to win.

Feyenoord is also still in the running for the title. The traditional 3, Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord still have every chance. Feyenoord already took the lead tonight after 4 minutes, and after that no goal was seen, which is remarkable. I actually thought there would be a big score after that early 1-0. Cambuur is one of the lesser teams in the Eredivisie, but Feyenoord had a very difficult time. It is also urgently time for Ajax to take measures. After the 2-2 against Vitesse, I don't think we can speak of an incident anymore. You can shoot 30x on target, but if you can't score goals because of all those chances, that also says something about the quality of your players. And maybe also about the coach.

Even though I've been an Ajax fan for years, I like the table at the moment, for me in the Eredivisie simply Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord belong at the top and can fight for the title even if I hope at the end of the season Ajax is on top Tongue. So it's very tight on the top...

In the last round before the World Cup and the winter break, PSV has a tough game ahead of them, so I think Ajax will go into the winter break as leaders.
