Do you have connections to yobit.net?
Would be nice if they could list RPC!

This seems an interesting coin to mine for smaller miners. Especially with the upcoming US election in mind  Wink

Took me some time to get it running, but there is a block explorer at
http://rpc.blockexp.info/chain/RonPaulCoin

and you can use
Code:
addnode=70.163.93.50
addnode=85.25.44.119
addnode=194.97.156.59
addnode=70.169.221.184
addnode=104.172.24.79
in your ronpaulcoin.conf.

Your wallet may be just fine.
I believe the blockchain is stuck at block 442591, (found about 13 days ago) probably due to difficulty vs hashing power.
You should be able to hover over the synchronization bar and see what your latest block is.

looks like someone has a misreporting pool or solo miner network is showing 3.7 GH/s current diff is 33.81 next diff 103.77

Edit : threw 100 MH/s at it for 30 minutes and got it running again

I think that there are some people mining solo.
I don't really mine, but have got the chain moving a couple of times for fun with a small miner, and managed to get a block or two, but then someone comes in and swoops up the next couple hundred blocks real quick 'til it's stuck again.
My guess is some difficulty adjustment parameter, maybe if there was a working pool, it would even things out.

I believe there may be something wrong with that particular block explorer.
Maybe try this one...... https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rpc/
That one is on the correct block height.
It's a shame there is no more working exchange for RPC, not good if you need miners to move the blockchain.

There's cryptsy working (at least seems to) but there's no working pool for RPC - or do I miss something?

Yeah, it isn't being mined, at least by significant enough hash to hit a block. There's nothing wrong with what you are looking at.

There's no such thing as a master node. There are nodes that are well known that are tried by default, many of which are listed in this thread. That's not your problem though - you have connection to the network from the looks of your screenshot. The issue is that the difficulty and the amount of mining power are out of whack. Rent some hash on Nicehash and it will move for a bit, but you'll spend way more than you will make.

RPC in brief;
half the base money in 4 years.
50% increase next 4 years ... 12.5% per year more or less.
25% increase in the next 4 years ... 6.25% per year more or less.

so in 12 years 87.25% of Max production ... then it thins out for ages ... like we're all dead and gone before 97% of base supply is hit.
