the people that are already thinking about the diff going up and that so many miners will drop are those who drop at the 38 diff with 1.4 net hash,
if you want value for what you mine and the price to go up diff has to go up.

please support the network and keep in mind that this coin could pass the value of btc 10 times just by the total # of coins.

Notice the correlation between total coin supply and price per coin:

COIN   TOTAL COIN SUPPLY   CURRENT PRICE
RonPaulCoin   2,100,000   $?Huh per coin
Bitcoin   21,000,000   $730 per coin
Litecoin   82,000,000   $23 per coin
Feathercoin   336,000,000   $0.34 per coin

So who's gonna stick in there and mine this next difficulty?  If not, where ya pointing your miners?
I'm in for the long haul. I will mine no matter what difficulty it is, because I am devoted to the coin's success, not only making money. Money will come with success anyway.

lol Germany/Austria at least 0.25 USD per kw/h ^^
but if you do it right you don't care about electricity costs...

0.20 and increasing each year in france, you know, the country with the most nuclear power plant per resident, which is supposed to get the cheapest electricity on earth ...

hydroelectric power stations for the win xD well, if I make my own business I can get down to 0.15 USD per kwH

once difficulty hits 90+ miners will drop off. Right now i'm making 1.7 RPC a day at 4200 kh/s now cut that in half at 90 difficulty and im making 0.85 RPC a day at @ 0.04 is 0.034 BTC a day which at this time btc is @$810 (coinbase, only value that matters to me if i want usd conversion) which leaves me with $27 a day. So just by difficulty rising (soon) that leaves me making $27 a day with a $13-16 a day electric bill to a profit of $11-14 a day. Expect at least 400 people to drop out of the race if values stay low.

So either value goes up, or miners leave and we make more RPC a day to compensate the change, or the coin becomes profitable only through investments.

Sheesh where do you live that you're paying that much for electricity?  I spend about $1.50/day for 2850 kh/s ($0.06/kWh).

Network hashrate = 3.37GH/s.
It's a bit too much.
When diff jumps to 80+, this will make this coin back to "not worth mining" again for 2 days, maybe a lot more.
Only way to stabilize is either to loose 1.5GH/s (not gonna happen), or to have the coin value increase to at least 0.05, or even 0.06. I highly doubt that's gonna be the case, knowing that big dumps are gonna come really soon, current average block time being 50s instead of 120...
So prepare for a new decrease in price.
The pnd from this afternoon made a good work, but there's nothing new about this coin, I don't see what could attracts investors.

Look at other coins with a small number of total coins, highest they go to is a couple of dollars.

Right now its just low volume and speculation.

People are trying to price this coin based on it being rare and trying to price it based on bitcoins price because it has lower amount of coins.

This coin isn't a bitcoin!!!!

What happens is miners will come in if it is that profitable and sell the crap out of it until it is as profitable as all the other coins.

They won't hold because they are in it to make money, they know all these alt-coins eventually fall in price.

at $40 dollars, $28,000 are created every day in new coins. Are there really that many buyers out there who will keep buying this coin. Doubtful.

I get what you talked. Yes, it is totally foggy and uncertainty. However, at least grasping more attention from public, RPC may have a great chance to beat the bitcoin and other rivals.
 - Based on Dev's chart on the first page - comparing coin values. I hope this one slap bitcoin.

I know it is too early to say "it is valuable."
