To an extent it's being driven by the issues of BTC as of late (as well as most other alts), but in a greater sense it appears people are not finding a real purpose for RPC. I could be wrong.

Colin , i was already talking with Daniel Carr about this image. Like i said a few pages back i would ask him.  He does not own the rights of the photo. So he cannot give us the rights to use it. On the other hand he cannot forbid us using it since he does not own the rights. If we supply a real photo it would cost around 1000 dollar to make a new REAL coin. A real RPC coin... how cool would that be.  I mean it could work if we would actually sell those real coins and accept RPC for it. But it will be a steep investment. Maybe something like a Ron Paul foundation or something where people can buy the coin with real USD, and get a real coin, and also one RPC.  Then all profit would be donated to a foundation that will help Ron Paul (or his son) financially with the coming elections? I have not figured it out yet but i am sure a winning concept is out there.

Anyhow we will probably go to jail when we make a real coin and sell it as cryptocurrency .. lol nah... Dogecoin is also sold as a real coin. We should do the same.

Since you wanted to have more people participate in making this coin work, might i suggest making a list of people who want to actively participate?

Best option is just to photoshop the Original Daniel Carr coin and see what happens. Since no money is made  with the coin since it's not owned by anyone that has them, I do not really see what would be the problem also since Ron Paul was not negative about the RPC. I think as long as we have good intentions not in for the quick buck, not giving the coin a wrong name it has great potential. But it needs more actively involvement of people.

I like the lettering and border words/messages on the coin. Do not like the face at all, sorry.

For the record, I am the one who designed the current RPC coin icon with the liberty bell logo. I also designed the original coin with Ron Paul's face on it.

Please submit your designs and when we see a truly awesome one, we can use it.

However, I want to ensure we have permission for it. A man named Daniel Carr made that design. I just sent him an email to ask him if it's ok if we use him image, and I hope to hear back from him.

There are no plans to fork the coin again. The adjustment we made will hopefully last the life of the coin because I am one for the least changes as possible

Ron Paul should already have been asked for his blessing to put his face on the coin, at the very least.

Then convincing libertarian sites and various groups fond of the man to take it and start talking about it.

This seems clear to me.
